Re-roofed on a regular basis? Straw roofs not cutting it for you either? Roofs are one technology man has never conquered. BUT SMART STREET LIGHTS, instead, have become a billion dollar focus.

* tar & stone dust (shingles) - you'll be paying jose's company (started by sharon bulove) in 5 years to do it again. tar only on flat roof: see you in 6 months.

* tile/concrete - you'd have to install new structural members they are heave - 50 years if your lucky - but often it doesnt' work out that way is the problem (need repairs? call jose again, takes a spcecialized installed to do it)

* copper / tin. same as tile unless it's thick - and that's really expensive - you'll only see that on some government buildings pretty much

* painted metal roofing. it rusts. more expensive than shingles, slippery when wet, continually needs painting and rusts through really - might as well do shingles unless your a gov facility buying quality (using someone else's money of course!)

====================

meanwhile - we're shedding billions on "SMART TRAFFIC LIGHTS" which have never proven to do a damn thing except stuff money in democrats pockets, smart street lights (don't ask, they are doing it already law passed)

but still mankind haven't challenged one of the oldest problems: how do you cover a roof so that the sun doesn't beat and evaporate it orrust it? without being very heavy or very expensive?

THIS IS DEMOCRATS: BEATING THE HELL OUT OF YOUR WALLET WHILE YOU HAVE REALLY IMPORTANT THINGS THAT NEED TO BE DONE
