Solicitors Suck!

The neighborhood posts soliciting not permited but it is written in English which they don't heed, read or comprehend.

So I set up a wireless camera in my vehicle in my driveway to catch them.
It can only be seen when leaving the property.

What a dumb ass look he has when he sees he was caught.

Yeah, when I lived near the Vienna Metro they used to come around 9:30 in the morning. It was usually for a maid service or some menu for delivery pizza.

I guess you can speak to your HOA and maybe they can get the police involved since this is trespassing.

Did that Maid Service come with a Happy Ending? LOL!

Besides stacks of solicitor ads every month, I suppose I can send the HOA the photos of the Solicitors as well.

The problem is not that I am bored as asked above, but there has been more criminal activity in recent times and this group was also leaving ads on cars as well as at the front door. It was like they were casing the place and looking in each car for goodies.

If your community has a No Soliciting sign posted at the entrance you can call the po-po's non-emergency number and report them. If you can get the solicitor's information, that helps. If the police get enough compliants they may do something.

We have had threads on this... the county code doesn't make it clear if a community-wide sign is enough. Put a sign next to your doorbell or something, and if someone rings it don't answer the door. Or alternatively answer it, demand to see their picture-ID solicitors license, and call the non-emergency police number to give a description of the person so they can check their solicitor's license. If they don't have one and they banged on your door despite the sign maybe they'll get a ticket or something.

I hope I never grow up to be a brittle nancy whose big excitement for the day is sharing the outrage of a fat mexican encounter when they have explicitly forbidden it.

Congratulations on your wildlife photography there.
