Haven't been yet this year. I never buy the whole crabs, too much work, but the box of 10lbs of crab legs is around $70.

I go to captain white's at the wharf at least 2x a month and I usually get 2.5 dozen for $30...I'll ask about the bushels (am going there tonight!)

But in case you want to call them- 202-484-2722

kings are in the 10 lb box. I find it cheaper to wait for Harris Teeter or Bloom to have a sale on crab legs (been happening about 2x a month recently) where they're only $3.99/lb and I stock up and get about 6-8 bags (they usually pack them in 4 lb bags that go for about $15-17 give or take). Pull one from the freezer and eat whenever...yum!

Ok you can tell I'm a seafood lover LOL

You motherfuckers are lazy.

When I get a tastin' for crabs, I go down to Nanjemoy Creek with 1200 feet of string, some chicken necks and a dip net. On a good day, I have the limit (2 bushels) by 10-11 o'clock.

All it costs is a few gallons of gas and a case of beer.

There is good news on the horizon for you lazy fucks. Blue crab numbers are way, way up, so the new restrictions on taking females and banning dredging is really working. More crabs=lower prices.
