Sorry, this isn't a Ffx Co story but it's in our metro area and of interest to us all. This is the police officer who shot two Marlo delivery men (one died) in his home a few months ago. Now he's involved in a second gun related incident. Geezus effin krist, you all are afraid of citizens who have guns? I think your fears are misplaced. It's the police you have to watch out for. Some of them seem to have an attitude that the laws they are sworn to uphold somehow don't apply to them. If you or I murdered someone in our home, and then threatened another person with a gun... do you think they would:

a: issue an arrest warrant a day after the event and wait patiently for you to turn yourself in

or

b: send SWAT to your house after a judge signs an arrest / search warrant in record time

Investigators confiscated Washington's service weapon when he was placed on administrative leave after the January shooting. At some point, under standard police practices, he was issued another weapon. A source, who requested anonymity because the case is ongoing, said investigators think the gun involved Thursday was the newly issued service weapon.

Ah standard police practices.

The article says they took his gun after this latest incident. I don't think they'll give him another one this time. Not that he doesn't probably own other guns.

This guy is obviously a menace. Time to fire his ass and lock him up.

I saw this report on 9 News this morning, there is video on the website. The website vid doesn't show as much as the report from this morning. What I saw this morning was a house worth at least $750K. How does a police corporal earn enough to pay for this house?

He probably got some kind of subprime loan that the new Congress thinks should be bailed out with my tax dollar.

Other hypotheticals.....

1) Given his age, he probably purchased at least 2 or 3 principal residences in his lifetime while capitalizing off the previous two housing cycles.

2) He may have received inheritance, ergo is receiving interest income.

3) Perhaps his spouse has a career. -§

For obvious reasons, house prices are way lower in PG County.

$750K in Fairfax is like $350-400K in PG
