Where can I find a good artist for getting a tattoo in the FFX area? Looking for a nice place with good artists, not some crapy tribal band or tramp stamp

Ive heard good things about Good Times.

Ive gotten a few at Marlowe Ink. But, with all due respect Mrs. Marlowe has a bitchy disposition, she's not really a people person (she's a cunt). But she does good work.

I took my wife to Patriots two weeks ago for a little something, and it was a great experence. The guy was a big Asian dude (didn't catch his name) and he does great work. Not to mention he is a hardcore starwars fan, plus! Reasonable prices. I plan on an Emperial Walker for my calf in the near future, and I'll take my business back to Patriots.

Tattoos are just a modern form of youthful conformity. They are nothing less than the 80's equivalent of the Izod shirt or the glam metal fad of the early 90's. Today nothing shouts out "hey, look, I have no individuality" more than a tattoo.

I've been to Patriot's in Fairfax a couple times. The shop was very clean and I was satisfied with their work.

anna marlowe isnt a cunt. she was super nice to me both times i went to marlowe ink. I had an appointment with flash and he cancelled like 3 times so anna did it on the spot when i showed up for my third appointment which was super nice. flash can go eat a dick or whatever his real name is i have forgotten. no calls nothing.

Good Times off of 28 does a good job and is a little cheaper than another good place right down the road off of 28 called Exposed Temptations I believe.

Go to Jinx Proof in Georgetown (expensive but worth it)

Ive had ink done in every country I have been to Including Iraq & Afghan and there are only two people here in the states that i willlet ink me up. One of them is Susan at JP...

The places in Fairfax mainly cater to people that want to get their girlfriends' name put on their neck or get THUG LIFE written on their stomach.

Jinx Proof is by far one of the best places in this region.

I am getting another tattoo on Sunday. I went to two different places in Fairfax City and got two quotes on the price; $350 at the first place, $300 at the next.

Would I be able to get it considerably cheaper at Good Times? Or, are the prices all comparable in this area?

I will probably go with the second place, because the guy seems to have a ton more experience and its $50 cheaper... Unless Good Times is like $100 cheaper, I'd rather not step foot in Manassas.

I'd think one would have to pick an artist familiar with whatever genre you're getting done. "Off the shelf" tats can be done by anyone, of course.

Some of the Chinese character stuff I've seen give me the shudders, for single example.

Jack Browns Tattoo Revival in F'burg is the best place in VA. I've now moved to NC and will make the drive up there to get my work done. Hands down best place on the east coast.
