Stop spreading fake news. While Jefferson may be the father of Hemings’ children, the DNA results could only be linked to the males in Jefferson’s family. So, there’s no definitive answer as to whether it was Thomas Jefferson or perhaps his brother. Unfortunately, the lie that is is definitely Jefferson has been repeated enough that many people accept it as truth.
I think there’s a pretty good chance it was Thomas Jefferson, but when we speak of this event in history, we should report the truth.
