VA legislative News Lee-Jackson Day gone!

The Virginia Senate just voted on SB 601, eliminating Lee-Jackson Day as a state holiday, and making Election Day a state holiday.

I am fine with this move.

I'm not a state employee, so I don't give a shit. My only beef is that they should have just done away with it and not added a new one. Waste of taxpayer money.
