Whole Foods is a real grocery store with excellent fish and veggies with a variety of goods , Trader Joes is a place I get stuff to put up in the freezer and pantry for quick dinners on the cheap and have to watch out for tasty things to ruin my dinner snacking on, plus my Greek Kalamata Black Olives for my grilled Chicken and Shrimp Salads to lose weight however... Riots may start when Traders runs out of fresh pizza dough and bottled cheap sauce LOL DAJAX

Recently there was a recall of pre-packaged sushi rolls because of Listeria concerns. Two of the stores that sold that sushi were Trader Joe's and 7-11. So if you shop at Trader Joe's, you might as well be shopping at 7-11.

Trader Joes is owned by the same people who own Aldi. Combined they are a deli and seafood counter away from being a decent grocery store. For all the hype about Whole Foods I'd prefer Harris Teeter or even one of the more modern Giants. If you must have organic, hit the farmer's markets.

Trader Joe's has spoiled me - I cannot stand traditional Grocery stores. With TJ you can get in and out in 20 minutes and you dont have to wonder through 50,000 square feet of toxic garbage to find some good wholesome options. Who needs to sort through 5 brands of Corn Flakes?
Whole foods has high quality foods at very high prices. Patrons there are pure assholes. I go once a year to get heirloom turkey for Thanksgiving.

Trader joes doesnt have organic Cheetos. No one shops there for organic selection (go to Mom's for that). Almost everything at TJ's is superior in quality to anything sold at Giant and everything is much cheaper. Most importantly is time, at TJ's the purposely have staff filling each isle asking if you need help. It takes half the time or less to get your shopping done at TJ's.
If you ever bought your own food (instead of your mom) and/or didnt live behind the loading dock of the Shoppers like eesh you would know these things.
Aldi sucks ass and is fucked up.
