something interesting about this whole taking guns thing

Something interesting about this whole taking guns thing...

Nobody on the anti-gun side has said anything about how they will keep guns out of the hands of criminals. In NoVA, we have gangs. They have guns. They aren't law-abiding boy scouts. They don't follow the rules.

So. What's the plan? How are the illustrious leaders going to protect the people? The whole state of VA will be a gun-free zone. This means every house will be an easy target for the criminal in possession of a gun.

Democrats? Anything to add?

Australia is a good example of how gun bans don't work.

Thanks for the response. I'd love to hear from an anti-gun person, though.

Come on guys and gals. You must have lots of faith in the cops, right? I mean, most of them are sitting on FFX County parkway trapping speeders. But the other half are out hunting down criminals, right?

Give me a reasonable response to this.

But so far, crickets.

You'll note from that article that the libtards have moved on to the next thing - banning ammo. Then it will be banning metal when people start making their own ammo.

That's always the libtard answer. Make more laws for normal people to follow while the gangs and niggers laugh at all of it because they have more easy victims. No wonder the beaners and niggers love democrats.

True, a ban does increase gun crime

Street gangs are fed by Free Masons and CIA. They have the philosophy of doing both good and bad so while they donate to charities, they also are in charge of creating the evils in this world.

Take a look at all street gang symbolisms and compare them to Free Masonic symbolisms, they are the same. These so called high school kids or outcasts are not smart enough to keep getting away with what they get away with. They have insider help.

No history lesson needed on gangs. Do you have a solution to how the government is going to protect an entire state of unarmed law-abiding citizens from armed criminals?

All the Second Amendment says is you have a right to arms. Doesn't say dick about ammo. Sorry, guntards.

Let people buy guns, if they choose. However, end the immunity that protects gun manufacturers from the natural and probable consequences of the use of their product, and you begin the process of finding a solution. Make ammunition manufacturers liable for their inherently dangerous product, and we can start cleaning up places like Chicago and our public schools.

The arms dealers can still defend themselves in court, just like anybody else who gets sued over making a faulty product.

Why do arms dealers get treated special?

The product isn't faulty, the user is if they use it to kill someone.

Inherently dangerous? Cars, motorcycles, and knifes are also inherently dangerous. I think maybe change the marketing of guns or ammunition to that of hunting, sporting competition, or self defense might be a good start. But I am certain there is a warning on ammunition that it can be dangerous. I know for certain there is a warning on a gun box when you get it talking of dangers and safety.

We should probably start by suing sports car manufacturers. They should know that people will want to drive them fast. They were designed to go fast. It's the manufacturer's fault.

That’s ok. I have about 135K rounds in my shop plus I reload. And I have enough powder, lead for casting, and brass to last my lifetime. All my shopping prior to the 2016 election doesn’t seem so silly now, does it?

What an idiotic and misinformed post.

Limiting ANYTHING to law-abiding citizens (gun, ammo, fucking slingshots) will do nothing but INCREASE gun crime

criminals DO NOT FOLLOW THE LAW - you have to understand that

criminals and ILLEGALLY OWNED GUNS account for 99.7% of gun crime

legal gun owners do not cause crime, they only stop it

last year 300,000 to 1.3 million law abiding gun owners STOPPED violent crimes from happening by brandishing or using their LEGALLY OWNED guns

your whole hold gun manufacturers accountable is just silly childish thinking

Nobody reasonable is talking about taking all guns. Reasonable politicians are talking about getting rid of assault weapons and reducing magazine sizes. The number of assault weapons in criminal hands would be reduced over the long haul as they are captured during arrests.

How many "assault weapons" are used in criminal activity each year?

Only about 2% of crimes are committed with "assault" weapons, though nobody can really identify what an "assault" weapon actually is. I think if you got shot with a small 22 cal handgun, you'd probably want to call that an assault weapon.

The government wants to take POWER from the people. When you are powerless, you cannot enforce government BY the people. The founding fathers stated this VERY clearly. But many people seem to be putting their heads in the sand because it's just too much work to attack the real issue of criminal activity and mental illness.

It's actually 2% of murders each year ate are committed with rifles of any kind each year. "Assault weapons" are but a small subset of that. Knives or other cutting objects are used to murder more people each year than "assault weapons" are. So are blunt objects.

"The latest FBI statistics show that 467 people were killed by a blunt object, while 403 people were killed by some type of rifle.

People were killed more with “personal weapons,” such as hands, fists or feet, than either a blunt object or a rifle, according to the statistics.

Although the total number of people killed by a rifle or a gun of any type totaled 10,982, rifles remain a contentious point in politics. The public perception is that rifles kill more individuals than any other type of gun. However, individuals are much more likely to be killed by a handgun than a rifle or shotgun, with 7,032 deaths in 2017."

nearly 70% by handgun...2% by rifles...the rest with knives, hands, hammers, bats, etc

Inconvenient facts

You need to look at sources outside of traditional left leaning media outlets. You might be surprised to find out the newly-elected people are talking all-out ban on semi-automatic whether rifle or handgun. They are calling handguns "assault" weapons. And also trying to define anything that "looks like" an assault weapon to be illegal. So a black handgun that looks scary but is a .22 caliber is now an assault weapon?

Taking guns away from people has nothing to do with keeping people safe. It has everything to do with gaining power over the people.

To Rule Over the people is The Party's objective vs. a government by the people and for the people, which is the American way.

You're dumb. Nobody is just "allowed" to have a fully automatic weapon. There is an extensive background check for that and those guns cost between $8,000-20,000.

This isn't about automatic weapons. This issue is about confiscation of scary things like a rifle. The government doesn't care about the weapon. The government wants to take power by confiscating all weapons.

To those Democrat delegates and senators in those and the other pending counties telling them NO GUN BANS as BANS Are Unconstitutional infringement

Zero to 1000 miles per hour with gun bans in Virginia By the Democrats without a single word of any reasonable regulations = Unconstitutional act that will be revered by SCOTUS leaving Virginia up for mucho millions in damages in the federal courts

I have instructed everyone in leadership positions to ignore all letters of concern. After we forcibly confiscate your protection...I mean your weapons "of war"...we will also eliminate any means of communication. You don't need to communicate with us. We are your leaders. That means we lead you. No questions. Now I suggest you get back to work so you can continue to generate tax revenue.
