This is Mark Warner, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee. His portrait hangs prominently at Northern Virginia Community College, just 12 miles away from the Central Intelligence Agency headquarters.
For months, Warner has been leading efforts to blacklist left-wing sites under the guise of fighting against alleged Russian “hacking” and stopping “extremist content” on the internet.The real target has been socialist, anti-war, and left-wing sites who expose the government’s official line and give readers an alternative to the corporate-controlled media.
To him and to all the members of the ruling class that seek to censor socialist and left-wing voices, the International Youth and Students for Social Equality say: The international working class will not be silenced!
