I thought you all might like this. Its a nice compliment to ticket/arrest search.
A crime map of fairfax county and sex offender locations:

Speaking of sex offenses (and this is a serious question) if a cop catches you taking a leak outdoors, do you get hit with "indecent exposure" which then lands you on the sex offender list? Or do they charge you with something else?

Depends on the mood of the arresting officer / prosecutor / judge..

I think he meant that all of Fairfax's sex offenders were once employed with Google and worked on the Google Maps project. Hehe thanks for the resource, it is helpful.

Besides the giant "powered by google logo", tos link, and the copyright notice, I'm not sure what else I can do. ;-)

BTW, pictures of the sex offenders will soon be viewable when the links are clicked.

Well, since most registered sex offenders are ex-cons, chances are they have shitty jobs for shitty pay and end up in affordable housing. At the same time, there is nothing to prevent your neighborhood doctor, lawyer or priest from being a pedophile or rapist. Look at BTK. He was a Church elder and a well respected upstanding person in the community with a wife and kids who just happened to like tying up, raping and killing women in his spare time. He could be your neighbor in Oakton right now for all you know.

My friend got charged at JMU (harrisonburg) for "Public Urination".

At the college town I used to live in they had so many occurances of public urination they renamed it to unlawful dumping of waste with a minmum $270 fine and maximum $1000 fine. Also made a $3000 fine per keg for furnish to minors, needless to say nothing really changed.
