It's pathetic. The dark web makes kids think they are hot shot hacker drug kingpins. Their ego (and the drugs) gets the best of them and they end up drugging and raping girls and robbing and killing their friends with guns and overdoses. If you are in this lifestyle quit fooling yourself you're not big and bad and you're going to get caught. If you haven't done any real time yet it's because they're building a big fat juicy case for your ass.

27 people arrested in narcotics operation in Prince William County

Police have arrested 27 people and are searching for one more suspect as the result of a lengthy investigation into the distribution of illict Xanax pills in Prince William County, police announced Monday.
Detectives from the Prince William-Manassas City-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force, with help from the FBI and the Haymarket police department, began an investigation dubbed Operation Breaking Bars in October 2015, Prince William police spokesman Sgt. Jonathan Perok said in a news release.
The detectives began by investigation “a group of suspects in Prince William County who were allegedly involved in the import and distribution of high volume of illicit Xanax Pills,” police said in the news release. The investigation grew out of a previous investigation and information obtained in the Operation Growing Pains investigation in summer 2015, police said.
“During the investigation, it was discovered that multiple suspects in Prince William County were involved in ordering illicit, and often counterfeit, Xanax from the ‘Dark Web,’ a known online black market for websites involved in criminal activity,” Perok said in the news release.
Police said the suspects would purchase the narcotics online and then ship them to Prince William County to distribute them. Most of the suspects were in their teens and early 20s and would order large quantities of Xanax at a time, police said.
Police said one of the suspects was distributing medication that had been prescribed to him or her by a doctor, identified as Craig Charles Krause, in Gainesville, police said in the news release.
Beginning in February, police said, detectives repeatedly contacted Krause “to advise him that the medication prescribed was being abused and distributed by the individual,” police said in the news release.
“The doctor refused to cease prescribing the medication,” police said in the news release. “Additionally, detectives discovered that the doctor had prescribed medication to several of the individuals involved in the operation and that one of the suspects had sold Xanax to an undercover detective during Operation Growing Pains in 2015.”
Investigators executed search warrants Aug. 9 at Krause’s office at Lake Manassas Medical Psychiatry, 7544 Gardner Park Drive in Gainesville, and at his office at Fairfax Mental Health, 5675 Stone Road, Suite 320 in Centreville, police said. Krause was arrested, and when searched, was found to be in possession of suspected Hydrocodone and a firearm, police said.
Over several months, the Prince William-Manassas-Manassas Park Narcotics Task Force, the Prince William County police department street crimes unit, the FBI, and the Harrisonburg R.U.S.H. drug task force executed 15 search warrants in western Prince William County and Harrisonburg as part of this operation, police said.
Police identified and charged 28 suspects and have arrested 27, Perok said. One suspect remains wanted.
“These suspects are allegedly responsible for the distribution of thousands of Xanax pills in Prince William County, as well as in other parts of the country,” Perok said in the news release.
Authorities seized multiple computers, marijuana, narcotics paraphernalia, large amounts of suspected Xanax and Hydrocodone pills, firearms, packaging material, large quantities of marijuana wax and money in the searches, police said.
Prince William County police want to warn parents to be aware of their children’s computer use, specifically looking out for the use of the “TOR browser,” “Onion websites,” “Bitcoin” services, and to look out for suspicious packages being delivered to their houses, as these can be signs of using the “Dark Web” to order illicit drugs, police said in the news release.
Police warn that Xanax “has become increasingly popular with teens and young adults as a ‘party drug’ and has a high potential of abuse with that age group,” Perok said in the news release.
“Abuse of these narcotics raises concerns of addiction, which can lead to seizures and life-threatening conditions, as well as a potential for overdoses,” police said in the news release. “Xanax abuse is also known to cause blackouts and has been used as a ‘date rape’ style drug, due to the victims having no control of their bodies during this period, as well as having little to no memory of the event.”

The police sticking their noses in business that does not concern them. A simple cop cannot tell a doctor what he or she can or cannot write.
All this operation netted them was a few juveniles who now are victims of the law.

Only 2/23 were juveniles and probably less than a few hundred pills out of thousands came from the doc. Still any doctor knows that benzos are extremely dangerous and should be discontinued long before the first hint of abuse - really any doc prescribing that shit for anything other than acute inpatient psychiatric crisis is treading on thin ice. As for the kids ordering fake ones online they know that they are often cut with fentanyl etc and don't give a hoot cause it sells better than plain Xanax. Such people should be stopped by any means necessary
