This past offseason, Harper sent shockwaves through the league when he left the Nationals and signed a $330 million contract with division-foe Philadelphia Phillies.

Many thought the Nats would implode as a franchise without Harper, but they are now just four wins away from being champions, while Harper and the Phillies are hoping to forget a mediocre 2019 season.

In Harper's defense, at least he knows today where he'll be watching the first two games of the 2019 World Series while the Baruibaks still don't.

Professional athletes don't give a shit about championships. This just in...championships are not legal tender.

If you have a professional athlete's skills the object is to earn as much money as you can while you are able.

Harper took more money to play somewhere else and might miss a championship this year. I don't think he's too broken up about it...
