this is bad news!

it means cities are failing to create jobs and to build condos and people are fleeing the failed cities

it also means urban sprawl (no farm land) and a bigger pinch on jobs and housing in suburbia

it can also mean democrats in control of big cities are stealing so much the young don't have a chance, and other people are forced to pay the bill

They are also seeing the occasional millennial in the city get picked off by a stray savage nigger. When you feel like you want to find a place to buy (invest) and start a family, you need to get some distance between you and the savages.

Millenials are like most everyone else. As they get older and start raising families they don't want to be living dense-packed into the city like the dopey urban planners dream.

Wrong. They are using smartphones and social media to brainwash millennials into hipsters who dress like lumberjacks but vote like welfare queens. They will then spread across the country and ruin even the most remote, free states like Montana and Alaska with their socialist hive mind. They won't last long though, hipsters always starve when they go "into the wild" cause the lil bitchez are scared to shoot their food and to lazy to grow it

Young kids starting out want to live where the action is, ideally within walking distance. Most of those spots are in cities or more densely developed suburbs. When they get a little older with families they want places with yards and parks where their kids can play and with good schools, even if that means a slightly longer commute. Being within walking distance of the latest hot spots no longer means squat when you stop going to them.

Nogs have destroyed more cities than all the bombs dropped in WWII. Prove me wrong.

I forgot to say, in the 1980's people thought of cities as the place un-needed farm children and small town people went to find a living in the big city.

If people are being forced out of the city that's bad news: it says cities are failing grades, operating with SIGNIFICANT losses, and pushing suburbia to pick up the slack.

Incorrect. Many of us would love to live in cities. Cities are exciting. They're rich with culture, diversity, sophistication, art, and great food. Unfortunately, most cities are run by democrats who are experts at destroying the cities they pretend to love, with corruption, money in their pockets, and complete disregard for the people who elected them.

They don't give a shit about black people living in those fucking god-forsaken democrat-produced drug-infested projects. They don't give a shit!

This is an interesting site. It's kind of strange to find anything, anywhere, focused on the local Northern VA area. I've lived here all my life, and it's always just been like a void...I think we pioneered the current homogenized American suburb-scape, where any town in the country looks pretty much identical to another--gas stations, strip malls, convenience stores, town houses...

You are all sadly misinformed.

The Town of Mosaic is a millenial magnet.

Have another beverage.

The exurbs are dead. Up-and-comers flock to the vibe of our urban centers, and later to the middle suburbs. The leaves the inner suburbs to minorities and blue-collars.
