On November 17th, 2017, our Bijan was shot four times in the head and once in the wrist by two aggressive United States Park Police officers. Two years later we still have no answers, and there has been no accountability. Calls for transparency from the community, elected leaders and the media have been ignored time and again by the United States Park Police, the FBI – Federal Bureau of Investigation and The United States Department of Justice. Justice has been delayed for too long.
Join us on November 17th at 3:00pm for a vigil marking two years since Bijan’s death and demanding transparency and justice.
We will start with distinguished speakers, family and friends speaking about how this case has impacted us all, taking Bijan’s life and shaking our community with grief and distrust. We will then walk around the reflecting pool to reflect and conclude with a candlelight vigil for Bijan.

Bijan Ghaisar was a beautiful, larger-than-life soul, who touched the life & heart of anyone he came across. His life was taken in November 2017 when he was shot four times in the head by the US Park Police. Remember Bijan & unite with us.
