“Hurricane Dorian is a serious storm, and current predictions indicate that it may affect parts of Virginia,” said Governor Northam. “I am declaring a state of emergency to ensure that localities and communities have the appropriate level of assistance, and to coordinate the Commonwealth’s response to any potential impacts from Hurricane Dorian. I encourage Virginians to take all necessary precautions to make sure they are prepared as well.”

At the Northam household, that means stocking up on blackface. The governor wants to remind you what Hurricane Dorian said to a Bahama's coconut tree: "Hang on to your nuts, this isn't an ordinary blow job."

Google says the path isn't predicted to even cross VA state lines*

dis-include norfolk, because a sea-side town like that always gets storms and shouldn't be listed as a statewide emergency

they bought land there knowing it continually gets rain and rain is their cost their problem - and there is still absolutely no pressing need to live on the beach: VA has PLENTY of empty lots inland

the hurricane already sat over cuba area and did allot of damage, moving very slowly

it's doubtful this hurricane has allot of gale left in it, and they know that

charts showing "strength" evade showing predicted strength (ie, cat 3)

and those charts predict only a snip of VA gets "a storm" (not a hurricane) out of the deal

I pronounce the governor is lying about the federal need of emergency funds for his offices

can't suffer the storm? trade someone your acre of beach property for an acre inland i'm SURE they will take the deal. from this point forward you are a volunteer

fact is: ALL A BIG F'ING LIE

they want a bailout for helping maintain their vacation properties
