Well thank goodness she was in the District of Columbia where it is nearly impossible for a law abiding private citizen to own a firearm. Imagine if any of those people who heard her screaming as she was being stabbed to death was able to intervene. Her life may have been saved but it would make absolute gun control seem like a bad idea.
