so i scoured the internet looking for info on "Cooperative Computer Center" in fairfax but i only get budget info and some nonrelated stuff. so i hit http://fairfaxcounty.gov and did a search there. same shit.

here's the latest document related to fairfax's "Cooperative Computer Center"
http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/gov/dmb/archives/fy%5F2003/volume1/gf%5Fop%5Fexp%5Fobject%5Fcode.pdf

if you notice, in 2006 they will be getting $3M more for a total of over $21M. does anyone know what the hell this place is and why they keep going to my site?

Has this ip posted anything? If not then it would appear that this board is being monitored for subversive and illegal activities. Or it simply could be a state employee surfing the board? Have to love our tax dollars at work.

If it was a member, I'd guess that it was that crybaby who was supporting the police in that one thread.

I hope your bathrooms get a better scouring... I didn't have any problem finding relevant info on them. They appear to have been renamed to "Department of Information Technology" though other school directories and such still refer to them by the old name. They appear to be the county's group of network admins, information policy wonks, and helpdesk people. $20 mil of their budget is probably the teams of IT specialists, outsourcing contracts, etc required to make sure Gerry Connelly's computer plays solitaire correctly.

It's likely that the whole county uses that netblock. It could be anybody from a student with an idle Turbo Grafx 16 at home to Tha Man watching your every move.

Given that Novaunderground.com is advertised in a few places, and you post your e-mail address in your sig, you may see strange IPs hitting your site from time to time.

hahahahah

i can't imagine anybody trying to bust on people in this area would waste more than 2 minutes on this site or yours, Gravis. Unless you post messages about the mean things you are going to do, like killing kittens and making baby jebus cry.

kklare,
adaptivetime.com is not the site i was refering to. you just assumed it was. i have multiple domains. besides, if you looked, you would see that indeed adaptivetime.com is listed on search engines from sites like, oh i dunno... this one.

I'm not trying to single anyone out here, but do you know what I hate?

When people present information (whether on purpose or not) that any rational person would interpret a certain way, then are taken aback when someone actually does interpret it that way.

You complain about someone from the county checking out your weblog. You have a link to a weblog in your sig. When someone comments that nobody would have a reason to read your weblog, you're all self-righteous that, my, you have OTHER weblogs that nobody else here could possibly know about! The nerve!

You were probably a woman in a previous life. WAPCE.

Apparently you need to work on your reading comprehension skills. The entire point of my previous post has flown over your head. Take another look. Then take five more, or however many it's going to take you to understand what I wrote. Then we'll talk.

ben,

don't waste your time disputing with that guy. He changes positions and rewords comments to frustrate folks but bottom line likes to read his own posts.

ben,

you were correct, i did in fact misread your post, my apologies. so i guess this is my first valid reply to it.

my point is, it would be stupid to post a message "You can never find my super secret site!" and then leave directions to it at the bottom. so any rational person should realize that. i was pointing out their error.

as for my adaptivetime site, i know it's pretty shitty. i was not offended by kklare's comments as they are true. the site is for the most part, for my own ammusement.

PaperPusher,

i dont see where you are getting this from. i dont change my position on topics, and what do you mean by rewording comments? im not just posting for the hell of doing it, im trying to communicate with others. clearly we have had a breakdown in that area. i would ask you to examine your claims and seek their validity. i think you are just taking this all too personally.

rstidman,

shouldn't you be throwing curt remarks around in here, right about now? :)

I was out of town

my apologies

But I have to agree, Fairfax County Public Schools should be closed and all the students sent to forced labor camps in the Catoctins.

curt enough?

Gravis,

I don't care enough to take your comments personally. Perhaps you should take the time, why don't you disprove my claims. I see things as they are. Others apparently share my views of your mindset and if you review the posts in the various links you'll find what I'm talking about.

PaperPusher,

it's impossible to disprove something that is non-existant. can you disprove the existance of unicorns? didnt think so. you can only disprove i havent riden on a unicorn? still, no. if it were true, i could prove the existance of unicorns. you cant disprove something that is non-existant.

just point out something, anything. your claims currently have no base to support them at all, not even a small one. it's just your word against me.

Have a nice life.

PaperPusher,

that's just great. you accuse me of something and when ask you to back it up you try to put it on me to prove you wrong. then when i point out it's not possible to disprove this fiction, you run away. coward.

You assume I owe you some sort of explanation or proof of something but if you can read the responses of others to your postings you'll understand.

Still a closet case, however.

Out of curiousity, what's the address of your journal/blog that was violated by the Fairfax Co. Gov't?

Jesus you are one paranoid MF Gravis. I think he just wants to look at your site.

I never say this... NEVER... but maybe you should lay off the weed or something. That shit can make you think the man is out to get you sometimes.

Or, in the reverse, smoke much, much more of it.

rstidman,

no, im not paranoid, and that's the sad part. fucking bots "slurp" (that is what yahoo bot calls it) every damn page of every site. if you ever look at access_log files, you can see for yourself. oh yeah, i dont smoke up... my brain is already fucked up enough. im paranoid from experience mostly... the other half is those damn aliens reading my brainwaves. good ol' trusty aluminum cap stops that though. xD
