It's Merrifield. Just because a developer hangs a sign, prints out collateral and builds a website does not mean you have to allow them to rape away our local history and call it something else.

When you were a toddler, you were once called "Little Pissy Pants". Time passes and before you realize it, everyone's calling you "Old Man Pissy Pants", but the sign on your door, your email signature and your cock tattoo all display "Mr.","Esquire","Phd","DDS" or whatever.

Applying your logic, we shouldn't acknowledge recent events or rape away your early history; you prefer to be called "Little Pissy Pants".

Merrifield is just as much a made-up name as Mosaic District, which of course refers to only one of the four corners created by the intersection of Gallows and Lee Highway. The other three are still just Merrifield.

I was called the same thing as a toddler that I am now so, you can understand why I don't support changing the name of the place I have lived my entire life.

As a citizen of the Town of Mosaic, I can say that it is an interesting place to live.

While many of my fellow citizens believe that their urine is scented lavender and their feces speckled with gold leaf, I work for a living.

Yesterday, when I got home from work, I walked past an outdoor yoga class in Strawberry Park which being used for an outdoor yoga class. As I walked by, I noticed that the class featured some of Lululemon's most translucent yoga gear. Nice. But I was heading to Badaxes for a beer and some fun. At Badaxes, you mix beer drinking and axe throwing! It caps off a hard day of work every time!

Mosaic district? Sounds gay, very gay. Merrifield was a good central location for building trades that keep the rest of Fairfax operating. By causing quite a few of them to relocate increases prices for those who need to have work done. Stupid. Hope you faggots enjoy paying higher repair fees.

Mosaic is a suburb of Merrifield. Merrifield encompasses a larger area than just the apartment development known as Mosaic.

Merrifield still has a Home Depot, so the building trades need not fear. There's also an animal emergency center and a post office.
