The majority opinion written by Supreme Court Justice
Byron R. White echoed the finding that there exists:

He also wrote:

So long as the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders continuues to include alcoholism and addiction as diseases, the insurance industry will continue to cover the ridiculous cost of "rehabilitating" those deemed to be "afflicted".

The psychiatrists, psychologists and medical doctors (principles in rehab retreats such as "Recovery Centers of America") will continue to accept insurance payments to treat the NON-DISEASE that DOCTORS arranged to have included in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders!

Actually, most insurance companies won't pay for 21, 28 day programs or whatever. The most they pay for these days is a 3-5 day spin dry. If you have a real good policy, it might pay for the long term rehab, but, the policies most people have only pay for a 3-5 day visit anymore. They used to pay for more, but not today.

If you have DC medicaid, you can go to this place near Tenley Circle and stay there a while, but other than that, you get 5 days tops in most cases

So insurance continues to pay doctors to treat a FAKE AILMENT which "medical specialists (doctors)" managed to have included in the primary diagnostic manual!

That IS a fucking ripoff!

Dude, these are just awesome tips ...! Unfortunately we all make these mistakes of youth and no one can stop us. I talked with so many young guys and some of them just ruined their lives ... Recently, I found out that my younger brother drinks 3 cans of beer a day. I was simply horrified and decided not to say anything to my parents. After talking with my brother, I realized that he had been drinking alcohol for a long time and that he even became addicted. Addiction at 12 years old, it's terrible! I went to my doctor and he said that they could not cure him in the clinic because they work only with adults. Then I started looking for other methods on the Internet and came across recoverycoachingalliance.org. This is a non-clinical professional who helps remove personal and environmental obstacles from the recovering client, and serves as a personal guide and mentor in the management of personal and family recovery. Within a month, my brother talked to them online and completed their tasks, and as a result, he really coped with it and was able to start a new life. So do not make mistakes!

I am a casual user of valium mixed with oxycodone and a few beers. It is not the best thing to do but is relaxing and makes me less stressed and chilled. I am not addicted though. I do it a few times a week. The mixture of all 3 is an incredible high unlike many other drugs. Dont reccomend it for anyone out there that is new to doing it though. DO NOT MIX THE THREE IF YOU HAVE NEVER USED OXYCODONE.

Addiction and alcoholism are indeed diseases, and many people can't handle them without help. You won't fix alcoholism and addiction with medicine, because this is more like a psychological condition, but it can get worse if you don't intervene in time and admit that you have a problem. I have a close friend in an alcohol rehab centre, so I know how hard it is to beat this addiction and get back to normal. Call it as you want, but this is serious, and so many people have destroyed their lives because of these "diseases".

I totally agree. These are diseases and there's no place for jokes.

Except a strong loving family (can stop a lot of bad behavior)... but liberals delight in their destruction of the family in favor of the "family of the state" that can never love you or care about you.
