You do realize with property values around here not much stays "abandoned" for long. The only places I can think of recently are buildings in Tysons that have been slated for demolition for new construction. When they tore down one building at the intersection of 123 and Anderson Road it was full of graffiti. The building on the other side of Anderson though had a security guard there until they tore it down.

There are some commercial property owners that have a few vacant buildings and shopping centers down Fairfax Boulevard. They are holding out until the city is willing to rezone them for mixed use.

As a pet of the Tysons redevelopment effort, there are a shot load of existing buildings cordoned off with flimsy construction fencing. The parking lots, parking decks and garages are filled with new car/truck/Tesla inventories for all the dealers on route 7.

We're talking about mostly any building on Westbranch between Jones Branch and Tysons Blvd. Not uncommon to hear klaxxons going off in any one of those buildings. My favorite one is on the corner of Jones Branch and Westbranch, right next to the soccer fields.

Enter by the loading dock or any one of the broken windows on the ground level. Watch for the real estate guy who comes in once a week. Yeah, lotsa tagging, but it sure is fun.

Drive around to various places in No. VA and find out for yourself. If you cannot do that, zone in onto various places on Google Maps. So dumb to share this info here so others can go out and steal materials from these vacant places.
