NYTimes taunts pope: Pope Not Political Enough

Now any history book clearly points out when a Pope is political not religious. I've never heard anyone ask for a pope to be political. Doing so is an outrage.
In the past SOME (not officially the Church or pope) advocated illegal south american aliens to flee usa and some parishoners agreed.
HOWEVER - that then this is now.
NOW we have internet access and know "who is holding back". To pay their social security of fleeing citizens (who would not flee if their social security was not BEING STOLEN) they could sell their mansions, sell land, and sell goods "on sale" to USA for taking illegal aliens.
BUT THEY DON'T.
IT'S ALL ABOUT MONEY TODAY - ABOUT WITHHOLDING OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY
and that's where the Churche's politics have gone astray. africa is found to have "piles of gold" all countries are racing to mine. does africa pay for it's illegal immigrants fleeing to USA? NO.
in the past FEW KNEW africa (or south america) had the resources, who owned them, how much money was involved
TODAY EVERYONE HAS GOOGLE SATELLITE IMAGES. it is no longer a secret.
many US american people (denizens here for generations) are living in poverty - the pope has advocated illegal aliens (not officially if i remember, just in talk) (but the pope came from one of the focal point cities of 1970s/1980's awareness of poverty in s.a.).
again: today: different.
