I think one of the best times I had on July 4th was in 1996 - at the Lincoln Memorial. Very patriotic and Americans all together in a good mood. Unfortunately, I had been to Ben’s Chili Bowl beforehand. The diarrhea that followed ran as a stream from the top step to the bottom one.
