Tele-marketing calls Way Down Today? It Worked?

So I've only had one telemarketing call today and that was one ring. I know congress finally passed a bill that allowed telephone companies to censor calls about a week ago.

Seems to be working for me. You getting less telemarketing calls?

Put Nomorobo on my phone thru Verizon. It worked..95% drop in telemarketers.

Does seem to have slowed things down a lot. I have a business line that gets bombed with spam calls and the same area code-exchange spoofs. Haven't had hardly any lately.

It wasn't Congress though. Congress does nothing productive these days. It was the FCC:

I get at least 2-3 telemarketing calls each week. They are really annoying, especially when you are expecting an important call, you pick up the phone, and someone advertises something on the other end. Hanging up is not working, they will call you until you die and you are trying to explain that you are busy or not interested, and it seems like they just cannot hear you or don’t understand you. It makes me hate their products and services. Hopefully, this will end soon. I don’t understand management that believes that their sales will increase if they annoy a lot of people. There a lot of different marketing techniques that will be way more efficient than telemarketing.
