the article forgets this is partly because:

* Microsoft buys ads in paper that pretend to be jobs required microsoft skills that pay allot. they are FAKE ADS. the job market is full of fake tech ads.

* job market is flooded with posers spamming applicants with mass junk mail

in the 1990's one of the MOST COMMON TV ADS were a get rich quick "plan" where the author is selling a (book) that teaches how to WRITE FAKE BUSINESS ADS to attract business to an alternate business

it was not only a prevailant idea of teh "me generation" to steal anything not tied down ...

many of them went on to do it as their main goal in life: poisoning america with fake everything, fake news fake products fake job ads
