City of Fairfax, You Screwed Up

I now admit that friends from the area are correct. Moved away from City of Fairfax ten years ago, and what a mess it absolutely is. Traffic and rampant development, I honestly don't recognize it anymore. So many new developments, cash loan places, and shitty motels still on lee hwy. Does anyone here still give a damn? It looks like its been a steep downhill slide for a once quite nice community.

Fairfax has been turned into a third world shithole. All the rich folks are moving to Prince Billy and riding those sweet HOT lanes to avoid the traffic. Back in the early 2000s when Prince Billy started cracking down on the Messicans they all got driven to Fairfax.

Fairfax City has never been the garden spot of northern Virginia. Even in the 1960 Lee Highway was the home to seedy motels, car dealerships, machine and repair shops, and elsewhere it was a series of strip malls. Pickett Road was known as a ticket trap even then, and can anyone remember when traffic at 236-123-Old Lee Highway or 236-Picket Road wasn't a nightmare. At least the City had a certain functionality to it then, something they are scrapping in their effort to turn it into the next Mosaic District.

Fx city has sucked for the entire time I've been here. The breezeway is a fucking historical landmark. Generations of meth head hookers have worked there since before I was even born. Pretty sure the people living in van dyke park even complain that the city of fair fucks has gotten worse although it really really is exactly the same it ever has been. I cant even blame it on race or politics because I had to rescue a friend from a house on old lee where a crackhead landlord decided to stab his tennants living in the basement over the "missing waffles." Fun times. The only real difference I see over the last 10 years. You fuckers got older and more of you have friends who o.d. really makes me laugh knowing how many of the privileged kids spoiled by helicopter parents have died or killed themselves.
