Have a problem with your Verizon residential or business phone, DSL, FIOS, data, security, or wireless services as 10s of thousands of these customers took their legitimate service concerns to the Better Business Bureau?

The so called complaint department that Verizon reps may end up referring you to, more often than not will not respond within five business days has been personal experience. A quicker way below, but at least try and strike out three times or spend more than an hour or two with normal store, customer service, and/or technical support, either by phone or online.

https://www.verizon.com/about/our-company/executive-bios
Each of their bios below includes what types of Verizon product/service issues each exec handles and are responsible for.

- Ronan Dunne, Executive VP & Group CEO, Verizon *Consumer*
https://www.verizon.com/about/our-company/executive-bios/ronan-dunne
Direct email address: Ronan.Dunne@verizonwireless.com

- Tami Erwin, Executive VP & Group CEO, Verizon *Business*
https://www.verizon.com/about/our-company/executive-bios/tami-erwin
Direct email address: Tami.Erwin@verizon.com

If you do email, start the subject line with Voice a concern:

Expect a response from one of their staff within two business days.

Have contacted both of them with various service concerns within the last three months, so the email addresses above are current.

Large companies l1ike Verizon would have an easier time dealing with customer service issues if fewer complaints were from irrational screaming FOX-wasted total assholes.

Thanks original poster! Emailed Verizon above, and got Verizon issue had worked on for more than 10 hours during two weeks with normal 800# customer service and tech support with no solution, resolved then after emailing by a phone call back from their executive office within two business days. So sad had to go to this level to get it resolved.

If ever have to email or contact an upper level contact or head of a company or a government official about a concern, have learned:

* clearly state your concern, giving needed details such as account numbers, dates/times/at least first names people spoke with at lower levels of the company/org, while not rambling and being brief as possible with all that.

* suggest a solution to your problem or how you would like to see it fixed. Use common sense, be reasonable. Of course, don't expect the Rolls Royce level of service from a discount business.

* bonuses, any suggestion(s) to who you are emailing how to improve their business so future customers do not have the same issue, and if anything from the execs/officials bio relating to your issue. Many of these people you can Google to get their bios. As far as suggestions, sometimes they listen, sometimes not, depending on the company/org priorities, financial picture, and their target demographic, which you can get some info beforehand through Googling.

* be polite, no foul language. If threaten i.e. going to my lawyer, contact my credit card issuer to do a chargeback, give the business or org a reasonable time to respond depending on the issue, say 72 hours for some situations.

* only as appropriate, mark your email/message urgent or priority. Obviously if your identity is at stake, lots of people affected, etc. These higher level execs and officials get lots of messages and often have direct assistants at least filtering them. If extremely urgent, call or use online chat, don't email.

Example from years ago, Metro changed the afternoon rush hour train schedule, so on train I regularly used from DC would terminate at West Falls Church Metro instead of Vienna Metro, and hundreds of people dumped on the platform. A safety issue with an overloaded platform, and after a number of days this happening, emailed Fairfax County Supervisor Hudgins who is also a member of the WMATA Board of Directors. Besides sharing the concern, I also shared finding her bio she rode the buses in the rural south as a child, sometimes I expect with subpar service. Within a week, that situation was resolved. OTOH WMATA situation did not escalate, not as critical, train status passenger info status LED light display stopped working at a station, emailed Metro through their website, took them 35 days to initially respond, and several months to fix that passenger info display.
