Stouffer's is way better than anything DAJAX the Dope ever turned out. His kitchen career basically cratered after PB&J.

I find it refreshing that some still proudly embrace traditional American fare that they make themselves rather than getting carry out from some ethnic restaurant or the latest overpriced nouvelle cuisine. I would prefer the bread in my open face turkey sandwich toasted, and instead of the beans and a cranberry garnish I would prefer apple sauce.

There’s nothing refeshing or American about brown sewage being served on a piece of white bread.

The salt shaker never touched it it does not have too real flavorful turkey gravy is made with drippings that have browned in the pan then water added stir it all up and reduce it by simmering thickened by adding flour from a dredge or flour and water mixed and the salt shaker never comes close to it. You can add a little milk to it too, I did. Cheap joints gravy must be salted to provide flavor that the drippings in real gravy provide . Yes the rest is real roast turkey and green beans with toasted almonds . The stuffing was a cheat Pepperidge Farm Herb the fine stuff not the cubes with sautéed onions celery and some Bells Seasoning put in for some more flavor and it was excellent.

325 F is the temputure to roast a turkey and make great real gravy and everything with it . Calibrate the oven ,Washington Gas would do that if you had a gas oven maybe they still do, They come out and tell you exactly what temperature your oven is cooking at. You can adjust many ovens or just use a temperature number up or down if your ovens too hot or cold. Check them out and let us know if they still do it.

Governor House Inn in Fall Church used to serve a pretty good open face turkey sandwich. This is going back 20 years.

Earl's in Arlington has one but even though it's not open-faced it's tastes pretty good.

Only go if you love lots of salt. Mmmm, salt.

To tell the truth, I think that it is really tasty, but just a not very good photo. Especially, I like the tablecloth on the photo. It immediately caught my attention. I was searching for the new tablecloth and set of napkins for some months ago and I even had no idea how difficult it would be to find exactly what I imagined for my dining room. To cut it short, I decided that the table was covered in a comfy linen cloth without unnecessary details but with an active pattern. Fortunately, we find a company that had a wide range of beautiful, stylish natural fabrics so I picked up a set of textile decor for the entire dining area.
