Best park in Fairfax County?

As title states.

No need for young play areas, all my family is 14 and over. Just a chill place to BBQ/play ball (any- tennis, soccer, baseball, sometimes basketball if they have a decent outdoor court)/relax. Shade is a good thing. With bathrooms if possible.

Bonus if they have good walking trails near water (so i can sneak in a round of shoreline fishing or two, yes i have the proper permits).

The one park i did go to so far, cub run, was pretty nice as far as the grounds go...but smaller than the parks i am used to from out west, but was overran with people and I was annoyed uncultured people playing music loudly on their car stereos and yelling into their speakerphone since they can't afford airpods obviously.

Lake Fairfax and Burke Lake Park are 2 that come to mind.

Great Falls Park is not a Fairfax Park, USPS and has an entrance fee.

In Fairfax County on the George Washington Parkway south of Wilson Bridge, there's a old marina that's a nice place to visit restrooms and a park next door, plenty of Potomac riverbank to fish from .

IF you cant keep the illegals there from stealing all your picnic items or kicking a ball into your kids face the place is packed with them thanks to Democrats that are destroying Americans America for a vote! It was a beautiful place to go 25 years ago all the parks are the same way !

Build That Wall and SEND THEM HOME

It appears many parks with in FX County suit your needs. Continually visit them all.

That's what I do with my family.

Riverbend is NOT a Fairfax County park. It is a NOVA regional park.

So are the W&OD Trail and Meadowlark Gardens. Both of those are terrific in season. We here in NOVA are fortunate to live in a place with so many beautiful parks nearby, both small and large.
