If you want crabcakes go to the "Free State of Maryland land of the crabcakes that will not allow law abiding citizens to carry concealed, some Free State that is so keep your eyes open as Maryland is also the land of criminals and Democrats judges that let them go easy

Head to Jimmy Cantlers place on Mill Creek , find it and get some really good crab cakes, or Bawlmer almost anywhere or Annapolis at the Boatyard Grill in Eastport, Carrols Creek Café and more joints , if you want the absolute best on the planet earth head to Stoney's on Broomes Island Maryland on the Patuxent River in Calvert Co. Stop by the Southern Maryland Celtic festival next Saturday there will be a food trailer there too with them and some smart young guy with lobster rolls

DAJAX ask for Natural Light Hobo Junction beer too if there have it! Been a good long while many moons since I went up to Bawlmer to "The Block" to honkey tonk with Blaze Star at her Two O'clock Club baby she would have loved Natural Light and served kegs galore there to us hobos !!

Another good restaurant for crab cakes in Middle River, MD

https://bythedocks.com/

GAR (Sweetwater, Artie's, Silverado) has pretty good crab cakes but nothing like these jumbo lump meat monsters.

Coastal Flats, Ozzie's, Jackson's, Mike's, Carlyle...pretty much all GAR places have really good crab cakes, and you don't have to use a ton of gas or deal with bad traffic in order to get to one.

The new GAR place -- Patsy's -- opens on Route-7 across from Tysons next month. I assume they'll have crab cakes too, along with lots of other goodies such as Ozzie Rolls.

Some may tell you it's not proper, but if you want a salad with those crab cakes, be sure to say, "Ill have the salad, please." LOL!

I have to second Cantlers. Great to sit outside on a nice day and watch them pull the crabs out next to the dock and straight into the kitchen.
