Now Kate Smith, God Bless America, is being banned/tarnished as a racist for lyrics in two songs from the 1920s/30s? Has the country gone completely nuts? NY Yankees, Philly... insane.

The irony here is Kate Smith didn't write God Bless America. Irving Berlin did, first during WW-I, then revised it for WW-II.

The issue is, apparently Kate Smith recorded a song with the word "darkies" in it, so she is now a racist and must be dealt with appropriately. If liberals were treated the same way there wouldn't be any left
