Has anyone near the chantilly area ever gotten pulled over by making a right into GReenbriar shoppign center, where the sign says No Turn On Red? I did about two hours ago. Ive always seen it but i never thought police would do anything. Guess i was wrong. anyone know why they have that gay sign there?

That sign is there to prevent accidents and assure the right of way of pedestrians, gay or not.

Cops name should be on the copy of the ticket he gave you.

he was a motorcycle cop he was friendly tho was hoping for a warning but didnt happen....his name is officer knefel. PS they should put the sign NEXT to the traffic light, and make it "no turn on red when pedestrians are present" like all the other traffic signs in the area.

Is this turning off of 50 into the shopping center where there is an access road that runs parallel to the roadway? If it is, sometimes VDOT restricts turns on red when there's an access road so the access road movement during a green isn't affected by those coming in off the main roadway...just my $0.02
