What a day this was. Obama was a twice-elected, relatively popular President. The economy was in decent shape, Republicans were out of touch and running a terrible candidate.
The media was full of stories about the death of the Republican party, and the Huffington Post gave Hillary better than a 98% chance of winning. Her cabinet was already picked, and the election was a mere formality.
I will never forget that day or what happened next.

Fairfax County was named for Thomas Fairfax, a Scotsman who was actually born in England. Years later, Justin Fairfax raped two women.

Justin is a not-so-great not-so-great not-so-great not-so-great, not-so-grand-son of one of Lord Fairfax's slaves. After he was freed he went north to Maryland. The head whip-master slave, 'Coffer' was given the land in Burke in the area known as 'Coffer Woods'. That's why all the houses there are brown.

Donald Trump has almost 3 million fewer votes, but he didn’t lose.
I’m very surprised that no one told Hillary that it was electoral votes, not popular votes that count. She could have run a different campaign and won.
