It’s lake braddock...off goshen lane. I hope it’s not a kid, but their the only ones that would fall in and drown in 4 feet of water.

Not a good ending. Person has been found and it sounds like the dispatch and rescuers are in near tears. No mention of life saving measures. Let’s hope some 108 year old lady fell in...otherwise all other scenarios are sad.

Nope, 9 year old kid. Sucks. I regret posting about it on this site so please ignore this thread.

Not a 9 year old kid. Do you people just spend all your time on social media?

It was a dude trying to save his dog.

I read that they caught the dog afterwards, so I'd say so.

What you really wanted to know:

"Trinh’s dog was safely recovered from the lake."

Dog could sense that he was on the evening’s menu, so he tried to get away.

This happens every spring when the winter thaw begins to melt the lake ice. It was just too thin to support the weight of the dog.

Do you really think there has been any ice on any ponds in this area in the last month?

You really should get out of the basement.

I lived in Lake Braddock for nearly 40 years, starting before the Lake was built. As mentioned above, if the guy couldn't swim, he shouldn't have chased after his dog, His dog most assuredly could. Where it's reported the guy fell in is the narrow neck of the lake. There is a channel, and the drop off is quite steep, it's not shallow. 5-6 feet in, you aren't touching the bottom...the channel is probably 16+ feet deep at the center.

That sounds cool, I aways thought an underwater house would be neat. But maybe at a coral reef. Is there anything to see in that murky water?
