I read that Congress is seeking to pass a law to undo the Supreme Court's ruling, but all they can do is deny federal funding to states. And I am not sure that Congress could craft good criteria by which to judge who loses federal funding. All WE can hope for is that the Virginia legislature passes some laws that prevent the local governments from abusing imminent domain. And since the Fairfax board of supervisors is a wholly owned subsidery of the developers, we better hope that Virginia acts quickly.

Yeah just so you know the "law" they have to pass in this case is called a "constitutional amendment". The court was pretty clear they were going literally off the 5th amendment or whatever number.
If the dumbasses in the SCOTUS are going to read the constitution literally, we better make every amendment read like a children's book. Slow, to the point, exact words. No doubts.
