I was up on bradock near twinbrook the other day and I saw late 80's dark red/burgundy fully tinted camaro that appeared to be a cop at the accident.3 car pile up. The car had aftermarket wheels,breaks, everything, Had stroker lights all over it. I thought it might have been a fake so I came back up the road and a couple of crown vics were on the spot as well. I parked in Outback/Pizza hut parking lot and they all (cops including camaro) left at the same time. Seized???
I have never seen that old of a car being a cruiser

They have to deal with parents who scream bloody murder if little Jimmy gets less than an A, they have to buy some of their own supplies, they have to deal with the bratty children in their classes.

It seems to me that if teaching is such an easy job, the turnover rate would not be as high as it is. Also, a lot of a teacher's summer is spent taking college courses (at their own expense) to maintain their license. On the other hand, being on the same schedule as my children makes it worthwhile.

Actually the turnover rate is not as high as he teachers union would lead you to believe. Teachers usually take summer classes so that they qualify for a higher pay scale due to increased qualifications.

In case you didnt know this goes on in the real world all the time. Why do you think night classes are so full. They arent all teachers in there.

I am not aware of any job that has the number of days off as a teacher. A week at Christmas, a week at Thanksgiving and a week at Easter. Anyone else in another line of work get those kind of perks.

If teachers hate it so much why do they seem to stay on year after year? Anyone who deals with the public has to put up with jerks and a-holes get used to it.

Lastly stop complaining about the cost of living in this area. Where do you think the rest of us live?

Don and mike only work 4 hours a day then get a helluva lot more weeks and days off. So if teaching fails become a D-Jay! ;)
