Congress passed many laws to deal with illegal immigration.

That was good. Only idiots truly believe uncontrolled borders are ok.

But then Congress could not agree on how to fund the needed protections RECOMMENDED BY NON-PARTISAN EXPERTS.

So Trump found a way.

They all know his veto will not be overturned.

And so do we.

Trump green-lighted Republicans voting against it.

Knowing that he'd veto it is what let them vote against it on principle. Had it been a vote that mattered, they would not have.

I love the way a trump fool just tried to spin this. Trump didn’t care that they voted against him, because he’d veto it. Um, not true. Trump said that they let down country for voting that way. All trump does is get defeated all the time. When does winning start?
