His fragile ego won't let him admit to his blunders. Just accept it and make fun of him for it.

Well, the wilted Whiffies have suffered grave wear-and-tear and other forms of hideous abuse here, but that's nothing new at all. Neither is the fact of a sunlit Sweet Spot morning that begins with soft breezes and at a reading of 73 degrees. We did have better than half an inch of rain overnight, and the humidity is still sitting at a testy 90%. Not sure when that will begin to improve either, as more raucous bands of showers and t-storms are forecast to be moving through the area over the afternoon hours. It was still nice enough as I walked down and back to reel in the morning paper a while ago, but I may have been successful in hitting a favorable window for that. No wildlife encountered yet, but with at least five fawns gamboling about in the vicinity, a sighting sometime is certainly likely.

Not likely at all is that the absurd President Ding Dong will ever have a clear moment again. Driven only further around the bend by yesterday's Kamala Harris news, the Dork-in-Chief has so far only reverted to racist and misogynistic stereotypes in framing attacks that only disgrace the attacker. While basically being his socio-political opposite (obviously a good thing), Harris has had a long and successful history in the trenches and is more than a match for either Trumpty Dumpty or that namby-pamby, Mommy's apron-strings mannequin that he totes around with him. Out of step and out of place across the board, the GOP is facing one very long row to hoe in 2020. Worst wishes to the lot of them for the messes they have made.

In other news, the Nats were able to push a run across in each of their first two times at bat last night, and then held on for a boring but still successful 2-1 win over the Mets. A not quite himslef Max Scherzer was able to last through six pretty reasonable innings to pick up the win, with both Tanner Rainey and Daniel Hudson throing well to wrap things up. They boys are now a not very impressive 6-7 on the phony-season.

Not even as good as that of course are the foundering flops and flubs of Falls Church City. In way over their heads even in the kiddie pool, these dopes can only continue a daily display of their home-bound and uneducated ignorance of virtually everything. As for the City itself, the EDA folks have now shown 'moral support' for the foundering West End project that needs near-term City Council approval if it is to see more work done come January. Circles and arrows drawn up for the project from pre-COVID days are coming apart at the seams, leading to doubts now of the project's viability as currently defined. The City doesn't really need another white elephant.

Let's review...

A Man Made of Words...These Words

So alone, apart, empty, afraid, pained, outdated, forlorn, confused, abused,
daft, depleted, emasculated, exhausted, beset, silenced, abandoned, desperate,
delusional, horny, anguished, flayed, fizzled, distracted, disrespected, hollow,
jaded, shaded, tattered, lost, spent, naive, naked, lying, helpless, cowering,
hallucinated, failed, misguided, longing, beaten, surpassed, hungry, haunted,
ridiculed, wretched, routed, overwhelmed, tortured, wasted, sorry, sad, quite
completely fucked, and far, far, far beyond stupid.

No need to review the fact that you are a lying chicken-shit. It's a well established fact.

The use of "grandfathering" is fine. If anyone wants to look, then I'm sure they'll find plenty using the term related to the change in the law eliminating non-home related interest deductions.

The rest of this is just babble taking up space.

More babble taking up space. This is what people do when they can't address the subject effectively - try to bullshit their way through it. Sorry, no points.

Just like most other deductions. The IRS generally doesn't know. They will if you're audited.

And I think you just conceded the point that they don't hold any tax benefit. As I said, they reduce the percentage and are not deductible.

You still have not shown any tax BENEFIT. Sorry, no points.

Obviously dummy. I never said that you got the full amount returned. In fact I noted that it depended on filing status, limits, etc. The point being you do not make money in this way on net so it is not a benefit to paying off your vacation and other bills as you claimed.

It's a nonsense number as far as showing any benefit. I know what the calculation is and why it's done. As with most all of the rest of your nonsense it's irrelevant as far as demonstrating any benefit. As I noted, in fact adding nondeductible expenses REDUCES the percentage.

By not putting nondeductible expenses into the account to begin with. Duh.

But that wasn't the point. The point was that the nondeductible just reduce the percentage. They do not benefit it.

You do not. Adding non deductible expenses does not increase deductible expenses. To the extent that you increase any interest expenses by increasing the time for repayment, that's just a wash. Again, paying MORE in deductible interest payments doesn't benefit you. As you appear to be aware above.

No, you haven't at all. Here, I'll help get you started.

Three cases...

- John has $75,000 in a HELOC. All is deductible.

- Tom has $75,000 deductible and $25,000 non-deductible.

- Bob has $100,000. All is deductible.

Assume that all else equal as far as interest rates, taxes, timing for acquisition/draw, etc.

Explain Tom's tax benefit by adding the non-deductible expenses.

Provide the percentage deductible for each.

Assume whatever effective tax rate you'd like and provide the effective net benefit for each.

Go...

Just none addressing the point or showing any tax benefit of adding nondeductible expenses to a HELOC now.

- John has $75,000 in a HELOC. All is deductible.

No, actually it's fairly simple at the level that matters. Interest is either deductible or not. If not, then no tax benefit.

And not disjointed at all. Just three cases to show clearly several specific points.

Again, if you want to provide something else then feel free. You seemed to be struggling with that so I tried to help. Make you own cases or present it in any other way that you'd like which addresses the point and shows the benefit in a way that can be quantified even if on a relative basis.

You seemed to miss the point that including nondeductible expenses only LOWERS the share of interest that ends up being deductible. And that paying MORE in deductible interest is not a benefit.

Sure. As I've asked many times now, point me to a book or class that suggests doing what you claim as a way to use nondeductible expenses to create a tax benefit.

Well, those Whiffies certainly did fold up fast last night. All it took was one mention of the word 'scrubs,' and a whole bunch of them just butted right out of line. Among the remainder of course were those who don't understand what premises are and hence go about violating them left and right. Dumb is dumb, I guess. And rain is rain, which is what we are having a spot of just now. Looks like that will be at least an off and on thing all day today and then on into tomorrow. Could get accumulations of three-quarters of an inch or more today, then not much significant out of Friday and Saturday. Those stuck living in flood prone areas should note that a flash flood watch is in effect until midnight and could always be extended. Meanwhile, a break in pattering on the skylights told me it was a good time to dash out and retrieve the morning paper, so that is now accomplished, and I was barely struck by a drop. The humidity is high at 93% though, so even though it's only 73 degrees out there, it is less than actual;ly comfortable. Good time to be inside, as some thunder rumbles in the distance.

More uncomfortable today is the delirious President Ding Dong, who'll now just embarrass himself in trying to deal every day with Kamala Harris. He calls her 'nasty' and 'mean', those being his words for 'smart' and 'tough' when those traits appear in a woman. We have to understand here of course that Donald's Mommy never loved him. And neither did his Daddy. What a hot mess has resulted. He'll keep trying to cripple the Postal Service of course, afraid as ever of what will happen from actual votes being actually cast and actually counted. More is less for the Donald.

In other news, Juan Soto got the Nats off on the right food last night, crushing a 3-run homer in the top of the first. He'd add a solo shot later, but the tattered remains of last year's vaunted pitching staff gave away the lead right away, as Anibal Sanchez was more or less not effective from the get-go. When B-List reliever Ryne Harper gave up a five-spot in the 6th, our guys were pretty much doomed to what ended as an 11-6 defeat. At 6-8 so far in the phony-ball season, we are half a game out of last place in what is still called the NL East. We're down to Austin Voth against the Mets this afternoon. They'll counter with David Peterson. If tickets were on sale, there'd still be plenty left.

Though not much sense may seem to be left over in the Teeny Tiny City, there's at least a little bit still to be found among the Falls Church City Council, which recently voted 6-0 to pass and adopt the draft gun control ordinance it had come up with last month. Now officially prohibited is possession of firearms, open or concealed, in official City-owned locations such as buildings -- including City Hall and the Community Center -- parks, facilities, and streets when City sponsored events are occurring. The Little City followed Alexandria, but beat out both Arlington and Fairfax in passing such restrictions after Dems in Richmond, as promised, killed state legislative bans on such bills that had been previously passed by the NRA-funded GOP. “The data is (sic) overwhelmingly clear that more guns lead to more deaths.", said Councilmember Letty Hardi, who noted as well that while large volumes of critical comment had poured in from outside sources, input from FCC residents had run 3-1 in favor of the restrictions. A rare moment of clarity for the Littles.

The lying shit-shack shut-in must be worn out running from his lies and blunders. It’s getting to the point where almost everything he claims needs to be questioned. Decided to go with the branzino for dinner last night. Grilled, of course. Superb meal. Much like stepping up to the challenges presented to him, our resident fraud is deathly afraid of grilled branzino.

They don’t serve grilled bransino at the home. Branzino everywhere of course properly belongs in a pan or a baking dish.

Well, when you are done slapping around the wife, I suggest you run out and get some. It's quite tasty. Of course, given your irrational fear of grills, you'll have to ask the hag to grill some up for your pansy-ass.

The wait staff and kitchen staff at 2941 didn't seem to think those were the only options last night. Next time I'm there, I'll be sure to mention that some know-nothing lying shit-shack shut-in on Fairfax Underground thinks they're doing it wrong. We'll be sure to have a good laugh at your expense. The squash was grilled too! That must send you into an irrational and irascible tizzy!

While you are contemplating how foolish you look right now, let's see if you grew a nutsack last night. I'll post a lie of yours and you post the street view link showing these townhomes in the Great Forest neighborhood painted in a questionable array of colors. You were not at 2941 last night any more than you were ever at Brine. You are merely stretched to the point of lying by angst over my DC lunch last Saturday with descendants of a former SEDC townhome partner. The truth of your own feeble life is so paltry and pitiful that you can’t help but lie in desperate attempts to save face. By the way, like a typical ‘grilled’ cheese sandwich, the ‘grilled’ branzino at 2941 is not prepared on an actual grill. And in what will only further frustrate your tender, childish sensibilities, we now have reservations for another lunch with The Principals on Monday, though given the demands of running restaurants these days, we’ll have to see whether everyone will be able to make it in the end.

LOL! Why would anyone experience angst over an event that never happened? And, even if it did, why would anyone experience any angst over it? You didn't even describe where you went or what you ordered. You really are a silly dumbfuck. Of course, given the numerous mangled descriptions you've attempted over these alleged trips, it is probably best for you to leave the details to a minumum.

Your unfamiliarity with how things are prepared at 2941 is only evidence of the fact that you've never been there. As I was there last evening, I can attest to the fact that the branzino was certainly grilled. Perhaps you don't know how grilled food is prepared, what the term means or what an "actual grill" is. They've actually had a grilled branzino on and off their menu in one form or another for a few years now. Surprised you didn't know that! LOL!

From time to time, you can even see one on the menu of their sister restaurant Orso. Interesting that your principals never informed you of such things. Then again, it's difficult for imaginary friends to be a 100% right all the time. You have a few days to come up with a story about the principals and your alleged meal on Monday. Then again, maybe you will go out to eat next week. With it being DC Restaurant Week, it's a bit of an amateur hour made for oafish rubes like you.

Did you have a chance to see if you grew a nutsack last night? I'll post a lie of yours and you post the street view link showing these townhomes in the Great Forest neighborhood painted in a questionable array of colors. As is well known, you have mega-issues of ignorance, envy, and butthurt regarding where I live, what I do, and where I dine. These issues arise principally from your being unable to afford any of that.

For somebody who thinks FC is not worthy, you sure spend a lot of time saying things about it & reading about it, Dimwit. Obsess much, Dimwit? Are you "envious & butthurt" you can't afford to live in a nice house in FC & instead stuck in a broke down, falling apart suburban rambler with drafty windows, a leaky roof, collapsing carport, and a buckling oil stained driveway? Are you so embarrassed about your home you have to make up BS about a palatial mansion "sweet spot" on a huge estate?

& you wonder why everybody calls you a fake & nobody believes you, Dimwit.

LOL! I can afford not to live in some outside the beltway hovel with a carport, settle for the mediocre slop at a GAR and not dip into my home equity to take a mundane trip to FL.

Sometimes you choose not to get caught in another lie.

Then it seems rather odd that you are completely unfamiliar with the fact that a grill was added to the kitchen 8 or 9 years ago.

A flat-top is but one type of grill. You really are challenged when it comes to these matters.

> You mean PIZZERIA Orso, of course.

I meant what I said. Clearly you were able to surmise what I meant from your response. If even a dumbass like you can figure it out, rest assured that most folks did. Is there another Orso in the DC metro area that happens to be a sister restaurant to 2941 that may have caused some confusion for you? Perhaps you should have checked in with the imaginary principals.

> Hard to have a story before the event takes place.

The sooner you start working on it might prevent you from mangling the descriptions.

LOL! Nothing you can do or say would cause anyone to tremble. After all, you are a sniveling coward.

And yet, by your own admission, you've made plans to dine out next week. These principals should have alerted you to the fact. Seems odd they were unaware of when the event was taking place. After all, you claim they are in the business. Best start that Google hunt for places not participating in Restaurant Week. You wouldn't want to get caught in another lie.

And, did you decide if you grew a nutsack last night? Pizzeria Orso is a pizzeria. A flat-top is different from a grill. We and The Principals will not be dining at a place participating in any version of Restaurant Week.

It’s a fucking pizzeria, dope. Some say the pizza is pretty good, but I wouldn’t know. It’s not like I or any sensible person ever goes to Falls Church City to eat. The number of people who look forward to a nice summer weekend so they can get out there and do some backyard flat-toppin’ is meanwhile zero. And if we somehow are not, The Principals will always know where not to go.

LOL! More of that butthurt envy. It always brings a smile to my face. I suppose you think the establishments in the city are successful only because city residents eat there. Likely best for you anyway. The meal tax probably puts most dishes out of reach for you. LOL!

Of course, you are completely unfamiliar with the fact that a grill was added to the 2941 kitchen 8 or 9 years ago. Seems strange for a guy who holds himself out as an aficionado of the place. I'm sure it just momentarily escaped your memory. LOL!

Poor baby! I guess the home did not treat you well for din-din tonight after all. Sucks to be you in any case. By the way, Orso = apps, pizza, salads, and pasta. No grilled branzino. And of course, FCC residents in search of a decent meal pack up and head elsewhere. Any of Ballston, Tysons, Vienna, or Mosaic would likely do.

Well, that seems strange as I definitely recall having it there. I even recall how I found out about it.

Apparently others were fond of the branzino there as well.

You really just shit the bed again. Are you going to run away or come up with another lame excuse for your blunder/lie?

There are certainly viable choices in all of those places, but many choose to stay closer to home.

Some may travel just a bit outside the city to enjoy food prepared on the grill in the kitchen of 2941. Of course, you only became aware of this development today - a full 8 to 9 years after it was installed.

Did the principals check to see if you grew a nutsack last night? I'll post a lie of yours and you post the street view link showing these townhomes in the Great Forest neighborhood painted in a questionable array of colors. Whoever doesn't comply by end of day today never posts here again. Well, tough guy, what do you say? You aren't too much of a chicken-shit are you?

I'm calling you out. Are you a man or my bitch?

Your cowardice only proves you are a liar. Run away, wimp. You know you will.

Funny how you keep running from this, eh? LOL!

Just taking a quick minute to taunt the shut-ins over in FCC. They’ve earned it, after all.

Just a quick reminder about how poorly the lying shit-shack shut-in performed today.

Seriously, dude. Brine was open more recently than that.

Many are fools for living there to begin with. Those with any actual money just walk on by and head further out.

LOL! Fairview Park is light years away from Falls Church City. But while Brinn and 2941 each had quite a tough go during the Great Recession, it’s been a nice place to dine for a long time, thus clearly separating itself from anything in your actual neck of the woods.

But it doesn't taunt nobody, Gerund Boy, b\c nobody wants to be anything like you. Only a dope like you wants to be a nasty old asshole. Nobody else does.

They are psychotic. Pure and simple. Anyone who would spend so much time arguing about NOTHING with someone they don't even know and has absolutely no impact on their life is insane.
