If you gave one hundred fifty, you got a canvas bag with an autographed ball, a Nationals koozie, a coupon for twenty five per-cent off at the team store and two vouchers that you can exchange for tickets to a future game. The seat choices are tolerable: either to the right of the bleachers as you enter through Center field Gate or next to the Nationals bullpen. If you gave two hundred fifty bananas, you got everything in the one hundred fifty category except that instead of the ball, you got an autographed jersey. The one hundred fifty looked like the best deal, so I got that for girlfriend while she was getting her autograph.. She got Josiah Gray in her package.. To report that she was delighted would earn a nomination for Understatement of the Year.

And NWS real-time data feeds confirm this morning that what I can see out these expansive Sweet Spot windows is indeed true — mostly sunny and 68 degrees with light northwest winds. Also confirmed is low humidity, little chance of any rain, and that the AQI is down to 76. That actually counts as POOR, but it’s certainly better than what we’ve had the past couple of days courtesy of our neighbors to the north. Maybe we should build a big beautiful wall on that border too?

Real President Joe can meanwhile only shake his head as the Madman of Mar-a-Lago is indicted once again, though likely not for the final time. And the poor GOP no longer has a way to back off on the guy, prison-bound though he may be. Such a sad joke the right has become. In other news, yesterday’s Nats game with ARZ was postponed (until June 22) by some unhealthy AQI readings. So the team has gone off to ATL where Josiah Gray will oppose a top prospect in RHP AJ Smith-Shawver (20) who’s likely to be in the bullpen soon, but will serve as an opener tonight. We’ll likely struggle against him (jinx). And no one claimed the DFA’d Erasmo Ramirez, so the Nats went ahead and released him. They also signed LHP Joe La Sorsa (25) who had been DFA’d by the Rays. Not much of a resume, but he has a decent minor league record, and he has all three option years left. He could find a spot if he can get anybody out. He’ll be the best lefty on the staff in any case.

Someone who could spell CAT would similarly be a top intellect in FCC as well. Their recent and present roster is packed with ignorance, envy, and butthurt, but not much else. The AQI has improved there too lately, but unfortunately, the DFI (Diesel Fume Index) remains in the SMELLY range for at least another day. And clowns should note that June 20 is the filing deadline if you intend to run for FC City Council in November. So many of you are so well qualified for a position like that.

I tried to explain that simple fact to him a long time ago. He didn’t have the intellectual capacity to understand it. It’s actually quite remarkable how stupid he can be. Of course, he realizes he got caught lying and there are no sources to corroborate his claims. Just like his “townhouses painted in a questionable array of colors” nonsense would be very easily corroborated with the street view he claims to have found. Because he got caught lying, he has to make up lame and nonsensical excuses.

He really has some screws loose and is not too bright at all.

Did you ever see him pretend to be some Dunn Loring hausfraus? It was really fucking strange and pathetic. Quite hilarious though. This dude doesn’t come up short in providing material to completely laugh at him over.

Well, those real-time NWS feeds are showing that it’s 79 and sunny in TFNF right now. Thunderstorms finally ended around 6:00 AM after dumping three-quarters of an inch of rain. No more thunderstorms are expected now until 3:00 PM. See how these real-time NWS feeds work? Too bad Linus Hadn’t figured that out back at Xmas 2020. Closer to home, it’s sunny and 71 degrees here in the fabulous Sweet Spot this morning. Low humidity, light winds from the west, no chance of any rain, and an AQI reading of 64 make it nearly ideal weather for a trip into town to stock up on artisanal goodies. And that’s exactly what the wife and I will be doing once the cats are fed.

Real President Joe (like everyone else) can hardly be surprised at this latest and quite serious indictment of the Fat Boy. If not already there, he’s likely headed to prison once the dust settles on this one. Jack Smith has him all wrapped up and ready to go. Might be that Fani Willis does too. But someone should be looking into MTG and whether it is a crime to pretend to have committed a crime. What a doozie that one is!

In other news, the offense didn’t get enough hits last night and the bullpen didn’t get enough outS as a late 2-1 lead turned into a 3-2 loss to ATL. The teams will each send a 24-year old lefty to the mound in this afternoon’s game, as Mackenzie Gore goes against Jared Shuster. Can’t be hugely confident in the outcome
