Well, like everything else, it won't really matter to these assorted dead-end dopes and dummies, but another bright new day has indeed dawned out here in the magnificent Sweet Spot. Sunny and 57 degrees when I got up, and it looks like we’ll hit a high near 80. Humidity is also sitting around 80, but with single-digit breezes from the east, there’s no more than the usual background chance of scattered showers. Should turn out to be just another darned nice day. Perfect, i’d Say, for tearing into some more of these recently delivered groceries.

Well, I can report that it’s just another gorgeous morning here in the Sweet Spot. Home to just the fortunate few, it was a sunny 59 degrees out here when I got up to find low humidity, no chance of rain, and gentle breezes blowing in from the NE. Should reach the high 70s later on as part of another beautiful day. It’s quite a run of that sort of thing that we’ve been on, and it isn’t ending yet.
Real President Joe is meanwhile waiting to see how much help the now punchless Speaker might need in getting the debt limit deal done in the House. The K-Clown kind of rendered himself useless against the nutcase ultra-right with all his cave-ins back in January and those deals are kind of coming back to haunt him now. Won’t be the last time.
In other news, the bullpen that was so strong behind Jojo Gray, then wilted behind Mackenzie Gore, simply fell apart last night behind Jake Irvin, as the Dodgers ran away late to earn a 9-3 win. It wasn't pretty. The teams will hook up for a third and final time this afternoon, with aging Patrick Corbin taking on aging Noah Syndergaard. Corbin actually has the better stats on the year, but that might not mean anything, as there is plenty of potential to fall apart with both these guys. We’ll see which can hang on longer.
Not hanging on at all well of course is ever-fading Falls Church City. In a bit of a plus though, local (Hillwood Avenue) radio station WFAX (100.7, The Panther) has now finished dumping its old Christian talk format in favor of Spanish and Mexican music. It’s an improvement, but I won’t be listening to that either. Not much for Mexican music other than Oliver Perez’s old walk-up song.

Well, I can report what a dope and a liar I am. I make up shit about this "Sweet Spot" I think I live in. It's really a broke down '50s suburban rambler I can't afford to fix on my govt. GS-Nobody pension and SS.
Sleepy President Joe got owned again on the debt ceiling deal, which makes me mad, since I'm a dopey tax and spend liberal with no financial understanding hardly at all. In short, I'm a complete dope.
In other news, I like to pretend I'm a baseball insider. You can learn a lot from riding FFX Connector to Walmart an d watching the games from the TV Dept. there. I'm quite the expert in my own mind.
I'm the classic pic of ignorance, envy and butthurt. I'm ignorant about FC. I envy people who can afford to live there cause I can't. I'm butthurt because I can't afford to live there. I'm also butthurt cause I get my butt kicked here at least 5X every day, especially by that FC guy I call 'Linus". Name calling's all I really got, since I'm such a dope.

Well, we have yet another beautiful morning to kick off Pride Month out in the Sweet Spot. Here, we are of course happy to welcome in without prejudice all who can afford it. Really, the only groups we tend to look down on are Republicans and racist pricks, which may be the same thing really. It was meanwhile a lovely and sunny 66 degrees when I got up with the humidity right around 50%, winds from the north at 5 mph, and no sign of any rain at all any time soon. It should be like this all day long with a high of 84. What more could anyone really ask for?
Real President Joe (and financial markets) are meanwhile glad to have all these idiot GOP debt limit antics and shenanigans in the rear view mirror, with resolution coming of course on the shoulders of House Dems. We’ll see now what the Senate decides to do with it, but it may be important not to let the perfect become the enemy of the better than it might have been.
In other news, the Nats struck back at the LA bullpen last night, scoring five late runs that fueled a 10-6 win over the Dodgers at Chavez Ravine. Yay for Luis Garcia and Keibert Ruiz! Off-day for travel today, then a three-game set against PHI over the weekend. Josiah Gray should pick up the first game against Zack Wheeler.
Not able to pick up much of anything of course is weakling Falls Church City. FCC leaders are trying to heed warnings from DHS of increased hate crimes and other extremist activity in association with Pride Month. What a bunch of dull-brained losers these intolerant moles can be.

So among those few of us here living actual three-dimensional lives was one who was off to the doctor this afternoon where a specialist was able to confirm recurrence of the need for a clean-up procedure done every 2-3 years to assure free and open circulation. Not too many Nats games in July, so we’ll likely be able to fit it in there somewhere.

Well, these hapless bottom-feeders and other assorted boozers and losers may continue to struggle and stumble in their low and unrewarding lives, but here in the marvelous Sweet Spot, all we have to deal with is another bright and sunny morning. It was already 75 degrees when I got up with moderate humidity, no prospect for rain, and easy breezes blowing in from the northeast. Highs should be well into the 80s, and while it won’t be anything like the situation in TFNF, we could see some showers and even a t-storm or two later in the day. We do need some rain, but hopefully this afternoon’s Nats game won't be affected by any of it.

So we season-ticket holding wealthy and well-educated Sweet Spot retirees are now squared away in comfy Club Level Lounge seats having drinks with one of our ballpark pals couples. 4:05 game so we may have time for a nice dinner out after the game. We’ll see.
