Photos don't lie, but you do. Of course the photos are static. They show the trees exactly as they appeared during the month and year they were captured.

What those images prove is that you lied about what you saw in October of 2019. The August 2019 images clearly show the glass and granite walls of the memorial visible to motorists driving by. The claims you made a few weeks later are impossible.

The June 2021 and June 2022 images show that there was no pruning in 2020.

Meanwhile, we talked about a number of places for dinner, but ended up at the McLesn Family Restaurant. The wife and i first ate there back in the 60s, but we hadn’t been for a while. Good to see old friends. Bowl of chili and spaghetti with meat sauce for me, the wife went with their excellent grilled pastrami sandwich, a salad, and a bowl of fresh fruit. Very nice, and it all came to less than $100, tip included. Also finished early enough to give the Cat Lady the night off.

In other news, the Nats failedbto capitalize on what opportunities they had, instead falling meekly to the Cubs by final of 3-2 in a not at all exciting contest. Cory Abbott actually threw six pretty good innings, but the bullpen couldn’t keep the other guys off the board. Now we fly to the West Coast to meet the Padres once again. Anibal Sanchez against Yu Darvish tonight, which doesn’t sound at all promising.

Never sounding promising of course are developments anywhere in flub-ville Falls Church City. Having peaked 60 years ago as a model suburban community, the place has been passed now by all sorts of others in becoming a local poster child for just plain bad planning.

Enjoying the same weather this morning at our home in Annandale. Loving it!!

There are some nice areas in Annandale, as their are in Idylwood, McLean, Dunn Loring, and Great Falls. You’d think the same might have happened in FCC, but no.

Weather patterns in Nova have been somewhat homogenized in recent years with atmospheric currents having been shifted around by changing traffic patterns thanks to COVID.
