I suppose that the Dodgers should be congratulated on their World Series win. even if it always will have an asterisk.

We only can hope that this COVID-19 business will have subsided sufficiently to allow us into the park for 2021. From what the doctors are saying, though, it does not look like this will happen early in the season.

What I am expecting is that they will start by allowing the plan holders, only, into the games. Some of us might wind up with our games' being shuffled. This might apply more to the twenty game or less plan holders. It would be far more difficult to shuffle full or half-season plan holders. If they have to move some of us to seats that are not as good as what we bought, I expect that they will give us a credit of some sort.

I would not be too crazy about nosebleed seats even on a two or three for one trade, but, at least I would be at the games.

Well, the wailing Whiffies can only run their way round and round in the same old rack and ruin of their desperate but ever failed searches for some sort of meaning or relevance here. Meanwhile, we wealthy retirees and the like out in the marvelous Sweet Spot have another fine new fall morning to deal with, though perhaps the last of its kind for a while. It was 61 degrees outside when I awoke, and we'll be headed up into the mid 70's by mid afternoon, albeit with some fog, clouds, and perhaps a shower or two along the way. Tomorrow by contrast will kick off a week in which we will struggle to make the mid 50's. We have as well the death of Daylight Savings Time to deal with in the wee hours of Sunday morning, so bid adieu to the notion of having actual daylight after 5:00 PM until next March or so. For now, almost all the leaves are brown and the sky is gray, and while the yard crew will soon begin its regular rounds to clean things up, it just won't be the same.

Hopefully soon not the same either of course will be the status of bird-brain President Ding Dong. He's long overstayed his welcome and outlived any usefulness he might once have been imagined to have, so dispatching the dope forthwith will be the thing to do come Tuesday. Be sure to cast your vote by one means or another, and then let the courts have their way with the crook.

In other news, the Hawks basically just wore down the Marines last night on the way to posting a methodical 5-1 win that was not as close as the score makes it sound. Meanwhile, Bozo Bobby Manfred has released numbers for MLB financial losses in 2020 that no one seems to believe. Imagine that. And with no sign that COVID is going anywhere or that a safe and effective vaccine that people will be willing to take is anywhere on the short-term horizon, there's no reason at all to think that even a normal Spring Training will actually be possible in 2021.

Worse off than that of course are the slobs and slouches of sorry-ass Falls Church City, a place where the lack of shopping, dining, and other sorts of amenities forces residents to walk deep into neighboring Arlington just to get a plate of olives, chick peas, and chopped cucumbers in some sort of yogurt dressing. So desperate for proper meals are these losers that they stoop to making up fairy tales about their magical mystery tours over roads not taken out of the dumps of FCC and into lands where decent food might actually be available. What a sorry state of affairs.

One asterisk will not really be enough. The phony-ball regular season was but a horrible money-grubbing insult to fans and players alike, and the notion of LA beating TB in TX is basically something best erased from the game's institutional memory. While NPB games are not the same thing either, they have proven to be a rather better approximation of an actual baseball thing than these contorted MLB charades.

> What I am expecting is that they will start by

I doubt that the Nats actually have any real clue at all of what to do next at this point, other than to fire as many people as possible and prune the 40-man roster back to select key and low-cost players only. There will very likely be large numbers of free agents available for cheap on the far side of whatever this is, and the smart money is apt to just sit on the sidelines and wait for the time to be right to go after them.

We continue to text back and forth with some Red Porch staff and they report a sort of barely hopeful sort of aimless drift coming from their management. Seems like it's all just Greek and Roman ruins everywhere you look. Imagine what it must have been like back in the day.

> Some of us might wind up with our games' being shuffled.

Could be, but my analysis would be that more carrots are needed here than sticks. It would be a tough situation for all of MLB even if some magical 'All Clear' were to be sounded shortly, but that won't be happening. Nothing is certain here, and the worst of all this could indeed yet lie ahead. How to keep people and their money on the line will be quite a big challenge. We're well enough off to just ride it all out and see what happens, but a lot of people will just fall or be pushed out of the picture as time goes by. The fan base may have eroded quite a bit before anybody is back in the park.

> I would not be too crazy about nosebleed seats

We end up with 400-level seats in exchange for our support of food drives and other such works of charity. We pass those freebies on to kids in the hospitality industry who just want access to standing room in one ballpark bar or another. Meanwhile, people have had to get used to a long lack of baseball, and aside from some Sweet Spot die-hards, there will be challenges involved in bringing folks back into the regular South Capitol Street fold. Dark days for bean-counters in DC and all around the game.

So the Whiffies can but weakly and meekly stumble and stagger along now. They never did have anything honest or impactful to say, and of course they still don't. Their latest resort is to this desperate stream of incessant regurgitation of pure and simple shit. Over and over and over again, they post the same old worn out bogus slop. As if any of it will ever make any actual impression at all. Behind them, of course, lies a years long trail of tears, remnants left behind by their once but ultimately exploded phony claims. Scallop season, the ascent of the Mosaic District, the Water Wars, and 30-foot cliffs all now long among them. Skip past the calamities of Brockmont, Brine, and branzino, and you come only to the more recent but still disastrous likes of Moore Avenue, Fiola Mare, north-south, lunch-dinner, and views of 123. It all adds up to one tragic mega-tale of reeking utter collapse and failure in the wards of long-term woe in feeble Falls Church City.

Re: Dollar Tree on Maple Avenue in Vienna is now open!

Well, the long and sorry saga of the undone Whiffies only continues in its exposure of some plainly useless loons. Out here in the Sweet Spot meanwhile, we wealth possessors continue to enjoy bright days and happy times even when weather conditions are damp and gray. The thermometer said 55 degrees when I first got up, but morning showers had not yet begun as I cleverly headed out to collect the morning paper while the pre-precip collecting was good. A quick gauge check revealed that we had been hit overnight with a bit better than half an inch of rain, and we'll be seeing up to two more inches of that sort of thing today. Good thing we are so LID-compliant out this way, and that the HVAC tech got in to clean out the AC compressor yesterday. A little acid wash and a new debris collector will go a long way toward mainrining efficiency when the cooling season returns next Spring.

Hopefully never returning after January 20 is of course the entirely abhorrent failure known as President Ding Dong. Grand-scale hater, liar, and just plain messer-upper of just about everything, this out of his league grifter needs by February to be seated at the defense table as charges are read out against him. Spurned twice more yesterday by the USSC, the Fat Boy is going to be in a foul mood today. Maybe he'll sign some new Executive Orders designed to mess up the lives of those who don't like him. Such a superbly tiny person he actually is.

In other news, the COVID-driven, off-season spate of MLB salary-dumping has picked up steam. Kolten Wong and Wilson Ramos are free agents today, as are Jose Peraza and Todd Frazier, all joining Adam Eaton, Anibal Sanchez, Eric Thames, and Howie Kendrick, each of those having been cut loose by the Nats. It's a long dark time that the game will have to go through now, thanks to a lot of incompetents having been in charge of so much. Meanwhile, the NPB Hawks came up with a run in the bottom of the eighth and held on for a 4-3 win over the Marines in a league that managed its way around COVID well enough to be playing its games in front of actual cheering people.

There has of course long been an absence of cheering people in the pitiful prefecture of Falls Church City. An absence of amenities there combines with an over-abundance of delirious douchebags to create a perfect storm of utterly undesirable circumstances. Hence, people with any actual money simply steer clear of the place, choosing either the upscale convenience of further in, or the upscale abundance of further out. The Little City it seems is pretty easy to beat.

Japanese baseball is an affectation, just like European "football" and Indian cricket. If you are tired of overpaid underperforming baseball players in the major leagues there are always the minors where you can see competent players playing for the love of the game.

As for Vienna v. Falls Church, neither is relevant to most residents of Northern Virginia. We only hear about Vienna because parts of Tysons have Vienna addresses and because of traffic through the town and because of a Metro stop which is almost closer to Fairfax City. At least Falls Church had the good sense to have an interstate built around it.

123 pages of this drivel is enough.

I've driven by and walked through the Memorial numerous times. The pictures not only depict what things looked like in August of 2019, but are representative of what can be seen today. There was never a point in time where views of the glass and granite walls were obscured by dense foliage. To suggest otherwise conflicts with both common sense and the laws of nature. Likewise, there was no great pruning event this past summer.

It is for these reasons that you cannot answer the following question which only confirms you know you've been caught in another lie.

Trapped now in loops of pure pathology, they are limited to mindless perseveration in an empty babbling and rebabbling of the same old useless dumbshit nonsense as has failed them so very many times before. Just as with their array of stupidly deliberate photo frauds and equally plain for all to see, their innumerable total flops and failures remain irretrievably etched here as if they were in stone, a glaring and sordid history of perversion that can never be erased.

No, just confirmation that you are a lying fraud.

Why is it that you can't explain how a vehicle with an inspection sticker issued in July of 2019 AND views of the glass and granite walls are visible in the same shot?

Well, it is ever the worst of times for the weakling Whiffies, but things go quite a bit better than that for those of us able to live the high life while dwelling out here in the delightful Sweet Spot that so many will for so long fall so far short of. Poor little babies. Meanwhile, it was a comparatively brisk 46 degrees out there when I awoke to patios marked by glistening puddles and wet leaves, testimony to the roughly 2.25 inches of rain that fell overnight. Our LID compliant landscapes are of course well suited to dealing with such deluges, so we are in good shape. Could see a few straggler showers drift through yet this morning, but things should clear out later as we hit highs that will only be in the low 50's.

As has long been expected, the pathetic loser, President Ding Dong is fixing to trash the place before being ultimately forced out of town. His latest trick is to remove protections for endangered gray wolf populations, setting them up to be driven and hunted to extinction. He calls this 'conservation'. Just as he calls the pandemic 'ended', and one of his dingbat sons numbers COVID deaths at almost nothing. What a bunch of inveterate liars. By the way, the big Election Night gala scheduled at the Trump International Hotel has now fallen victim to the 'Cancel Culture.' LOL!

In other news, Seibu put quite a scare into the Hawks yesterday, scoring three times in the bottom of the ninth before falling to the SoftBank side by the nail-biter final of 4-3. The NPB season will sadly come to an end this week, but thanks to Eleven Sports, Travis Eldridge, and each of the six Pacific League teams for giving US baseball fans something better to watch than the sorry charade of phony-ball nonsense promoted by owners' boy, Bozo Bobby Manfred. That just wasn't good.

Also not good of course is much of anything to be found in futile Falls Church City, where so many simpleton shut-ins can only struggle to deal with haunting hallucinations and other forms and symptoms of serious mental decline. The local school board is meanwhile now combing through citizen feedback and survey results in hopes of eventually making some sort of decision on potential school name changes, something that nearby jurisdictions were able to deal with a while ago. It now seems that November 10 could see some final decision, although the final decision could well be to decide nothing and simply retire to consider the matter further.

Where did I indicate I was going to post it. Your grasp (or lack thereof) of English is making you look foolish again. Asking you if you'd like to see them is not a commitment to post them. But, because you are too inept to find them yourself, you can see them below. The list does not include any alleged Ravioli Carmela, so it is yet another piece of evidence showing you are a liar. Again for the extremely hard of hearing, while the facts on the ground have changed of late, your photo conflicts with the plain evidence of repeated personal visits to the place. It’s the same problem as claiming that the intersection of Wash Ave and S Cap is north of the RR tracks. A visit would powerfully suggest otherwise, but you can’t deal with that, among so many other plain and simple facts.

It's your claims that conflict with reality and all of the evidence that proves you are a liar. Can you account for the fact that a vehicle with an inspection sticker issued in July of 2019 AND views of the glass and granite walls are visible in the same shot? No, you can't. It proves beyond a reasonable doubt that you are lying about what you saw or that you have even driven past the location in question.

https://goo.gl/maps/sbaqE5cF2hy2GtfMA

And let's not forget about the image of the location captured in August of 2019.

Well, those incredible weakling Whiffies can only wallow on in the continuing disgrace of their daily dismal shortcomings and resultant mega-envy and butthurt. Meanwhile, we far more intelligent forms of life confront merely another magnificent Sweet Spot morning, the last for a long time that will begin with sunrise at later than 7:30. It was a somewhat chilly 37 degrees outside when I awoke, and we have a few clouds in the sky to start off, but it will be a mostly sunny day today, one that is still likely to fall short of 50 degrees at any point. There were just gentle puffs of breeze earlier as I headed down and back to pick up the morning paper. No extra outerwear was actually needed and that should continue to be the case, though a light jacket might be well advised for any prolonged exposure. Might be a good day all in all just to curl up and focus on Cash Cab hours instead of any sort of outdoor activities.

Poor President Ding Dong is now forced out into freezing conditions in hopes of somehow salvaging a win on Tuesday against what would appear to be steep odds indeed. When not making an ass of himself in public, he is of course indoors signing more orders to wreck the environment and allow business and industry to destroy our air, land, and water for an extra dollar's worth of profit. All things that the next President will need to reverse in trying to recover (dare I say, build back?) from the terrible damage that this Moron of Shame has managed to inflict upon us all in the failures of four too long years. What a terrible price the nation has had to pay for the Gross Error of 2016! We must not let such a thing happen again. Vote, vote, vote, vote, vote the bum out! And his awful, hateful family with him!

In other news, MLB is in a shambles, as mid-tier talent is being let go all over the game. And even after a successful season, CIN's Nick Castellanos apparently will not exercise his opt out clause, knowing that there is no cash in the tills of other clubs with which to sign him. Over in the far healthier NPB, it was a tense night of close and low-scoring games. The Hawks won again, 4-3 over Seibu, while Orix got by Nippon Ham 3-2, and in the TV game, Rakuten edged out Chiba Lotte 2-1. Not much drama left in the Paciiic League of course, as SoftBank has a 13.5 game lead with but a handful off games yet to play. The Central League that we don't get to see on TV (at least this year) is only a little closer, as Yomiuri is up by 8.5 on Hanshin and 9.0 on Chunichi.

Further back than even that of course are the sad-sack, child-like, tantrum-throwing losers of fruitless Falls Church City. Unintelligent, uneducated, and emotionally unstable, these are the bottom of the area barrel -- dopes and assholes who can only make up stupid shit in hopes of somehow feeling a little better about themselves. It plainly doesn't work very well though, as the brightly burning fires of their raging envy and butthurt ever go to show. .

Hmmm. Three times in October 2019, then once each in April, May, June, and July of this year. We were there also of course in August, September, and October and therefore able to report on the ghastly pruning massacre of late summer that you seem still not to have become aware of through any other conduit than me. Just like when Karaoke Idol closed, Luzmary opened, and Northside Social became a hotbed of predatory towing. If it weren't for me, you'd have no idea at all of what's going on even in your very own low-brow neighborhood. Found any views of those CMYK structures yet, by the way, dumb-ass loser?

By the way, Ciao Osteria (Centreville) has now taken over the top spot in TripAdvisor's list of best area Italian places. Maybe you could walk out there some day. Pazzo Pomodoro (Vienna) has fallen back to #5 again, while Pizzeria Orso (Dining Desert) slips into a rather modest 48th place, six spots behind Maggiano's in Springfield. You'd think all that branzino would have done them a little better than that.

Clean the gutters twice, haul out the leaves three times, pull a couple of dead trees, and a variety of fallen small, medium, and large branches. Should be all done in six weeks if the weather cooperates. Looks like we’re about ready for any trick-or-treaters who might stop by as well. I think the under/over on that is one.

LOL! No, dope. The ones from August when you allegedly dined at the strip-mall pizzeria. Are you so inept that you can't navigate their Facebook page. You only prove yourself to be a massive moron with each post you make. By all means, keep it up. Your dumbass is good for a few laughs a day.

They aren't my pictures. They are Google's pictures. If you'd like, you can explain how the photo is a fraud. Are you contending that Google altered the photo? Is dishonest about the date taken? If you'd ever been to the area, you'd know that it accurately represents views there.

Your bogus assertions aside, all available evidence, including my own accounts, Google's time stamped street view captures, the laws of nature and common sense, indicate you are lying

You know you are the only one lying here. It's been proven multiple times over and there isn't a damn thing you can do about it.

Yup, pedicure at 3:30, dinner at 5:00, and back home again at 8:00. It was a wonderful day. Like last Saturday in SEDC, I didn't do the paying part for the meal last night, but I would guess it ran somewhere in the $400-450 range. Unlike yesterday at (The P-word) Orso, there was indeed a branzino on the menu, but as expected, no one ordered it. Myself, I had a plate of Italian sausage slices with onions in a rich red sauce and parmesan, then a house salad (which comes with a tangy balsamic on the side), and as thr entrée, ravioli carmela (spinach and ricotta) in a mascarpone cream sauce. And we went through two baskets of delicious house-baked bread and two bottles of delicious Jermann pinot grigio. Coffee and complimentary Bailey's to top things off. Nice. We'll need to do this again soon. It never gets old.
--------------

^^^ The post above is the real reason why I do not need to Log In or Create Account. I was there in person.to enjoy a nice meal at a nice place in the more than pleasant company of The Principals. And speaking of doing it again, that has already happened, and if current schedules hold as they sometimes don't, it will happen once again tomorrow, thereby creating yet another bit of reality that you, as a desperately hapless homebody, will only be able to deny and lie about. Fool.

There is no need to create an account or log in in order to see the specials menu from the day you allegedly went to the strip-mall pizzeria. All you need to do is click on the "x" in the upper right corner of that dialogue box and then scroll down to the week in question.

If you do that, you will see that Raviola Carmela is not a special of the place that week, as you so foolishly claimed. Your latest folly not only proves you are a liar, but that you are too stupid and inept to navigate a basic Facebook page. Sad, even for a dope like you.

Well, no one came dressed as a Whiffie, but we did end up getting four groups of trick or treaters last night, certainly more than had been anricipated. No younger kids, though, just pre- and early teens, as the once happy kid traditions of Halloween continue unravel, fade away, and die out. The weather did hold off at least, as we ended up with some fine views of the Blue Moon once it got itself up high enough into the sky. This morning, we've had only bits of drizzle mixed in with some actual rain with coolish temperatures holding in the mid 40's. The precipitation should be over and done with by early afternoon, by which time we should also be in the mid 50's somewhere. Bit of a rough start to the week, but we should end up seeing the 70's again by the end of the week.

We should of course by then have seen a joyous end to the disastrous tenure of god-awful President Ding Dong as well. No interest of the republic has been advanced at all through any of his efforts or actions, as the nation has only been defiled and disgraced by his utterly malevolent presence. Joe Biden is at the worst a decent man, which is so much more than anyone in the grifter Trump clan can claim. The GOP is going to be stained for years by the weight of theri sell-out to the Don-Don albatross, as the putrid likes of Ivanka, Pence, and Don Jr. are unlikely to go gently into that good night. We could go ahead and try jail cells instead of course. Lock Them Up, eh?

In other news. Chiba Lotte survived a late scare from the Golden Eagles, holding on for an important 6-3 Halloween win that put them 2.0 games up on Seibu and 2.5 on Rakuten in the race to earn the second and final Pacific League post-season berth. That ace could go down to the wire this week. Meanwhile, Boston's JD Martinez will further the trend of not opting out of an existing contract under MLB's currently disastrous financial situation. Clubs will of course continue to sever ties on that account wherever they can, with 32-year old Chris Archer being the latest of many examples. With COVID now raging at higher levels than ever, MLB has now had to cancel the Winter Meetings scheduled in Dallas next month, vowing to set up some virtual event instead. It looks like revenue-sharing will also not be happening again this year, as small market clubs continue to get the cold shoulder from their large-market brethren. What an absolutely ugly scene Bozo Bobby has brought about.

Ugly scenes are of course nothing new in regularly repulsive Falls Church City. Home to many among the lowest of the low, the horrible hamlet has little present and no future at all. As for the past, some of these losers have not yet realized that azodicarbonamide was eliminated from Subway breads in 2014. That's just how out of touch with things these badly damaged google shut-ins truly are.

The demand is not in a dialog box, and if you try to follow the 'Create New Account' option, a disqualifying demand for personally identifiable information will be issued.

For the umpteenth time, they are (and of course, always have been) at odds with what actual visitors have actually observed there over and over and over again. At least up until the misguided great pruning of this past late summer, another thing that you were completely unaware of due to having not been there any more often than to Fiola Mare.

And just by the way, north in this image is to the upper-left, and south is to the lower-right.

You are only showing you are an inept imbecile. Just click "not now" then and scroll down. This isn't difficult. Well, it isn't difficult to anyone else but a moron like you. The specials menus for the month of August are all there. No need to give them any personal information.

You are only proving what a dumbass you are.

Wrong. You keep saying that, but all available credible evidence, including my own accounts, Google's time stamped street view captures, the laws of nature and common sense, indicate your assertions are the only thing at odds with reality.

Can you explain how a vehicle with an inspection sticker issued in July of 2019 AND views of the glass and granite walls are visible in the same shot?

I've been there on many more occasions that Fiola Mare. Needless to say, I've been to both many more times than you. Then again, a single visit to both would check that box.

There was no pruning event. Do I need to recount again the reasons why this claims of yours is just plain nonsense? Do you really want me to embarrass you again?

It is but a pin on a Google map. Anyone who has been there knows the intersection and its characteristics.

Someone who's been there could also name the two streets intersecting to the left of the traffic median in the picture below. Can you?

Dope. The Rule of Best Evidence applies to documents, photographs and recordings. It does not apply to eyewitness testimony from known frauds.

In fact, the Rule of Best Evidence would indicate that the Google Street View images are the original photographs and are therefore the superior evidence. It is for this reason that courts across the nation have ruled that Google Street View images may be admissible as evidence through judicial notice. Basically, you'd be laughed out of court with your lies about obscured views and the fable about a massive pruning event this past summer.

You just keep digging yourself into a deeper hole, dope.

Too much lying, douchebag. From top to bottom, you can only try to BS your way through the endless messes you have created for yourself. Me? Don’t know yet about tomorrow, but I do know exactly what was ordered and eaten back in August and that you are just flat-out stupid for even trying to argue it from even worse than afar. You are projecting again. Remember, you are the one who has been caught red-handed telling your lies. Google, the strip-mall pizzeria's own Facebook page, Orso's takeout menu, the laws of nature, common sense and my own eyes have confirmed you are nothing more than a lying fraud.

You even shit the bed on rule of best evidence. It backfired big time on you. Just one fail after another for you.

You didn't order or eat and Ravioli Carmela. You may have blundered the name of the meal when you attempted to recount your outing to the strip-mall pizzeria, but that wasn't on any menu. Of course, if you didn't have such a fragile ego, you could have admitted to the mistake long ago and let it drop. You didn't do that though, so I continue to torment you for it. Deal with it or simply admit the blunder.

A simple "Ravioli, Agnolotti, eh, not much of a difference. Both are stuffed pasta but come in different shapes" would have let the whole matter die. Again, your fragile ego only digs you deeper into holes you can't get out of.
