We should have good weather for the trip, as it's currently 63 degrees outside and on the way into the low 70's. It was but 59 under partly cloudy skies when I first got up and trekked out to lasso the morning paper, but that could well be a lot more than any reading we will see on Sunday, as the mercury is slated for a steep fall.

A steep fall is of course exactly what loser President Ding Dong should be experiencing soon, but his unprincipled hordes cannot be trusted at all, so be sure by November 3 to get out and cast an actual vote to get rid of this monstrous bozo. Not voting is what got us into this god-awful mess, and voting is what can get us out again. It's on all of us to pitch in here one time and boot this awful oaf to the curb.

In other news, Seibu Lions took a 4-game win streak into the PayPay Dome with hopes of putting an end to the 11-game win streak of the host SoftBank Hawks. Nine innings later, the rampaging Hawks had dispensed with Seibu, making it an even dozen in a row with an impressive 8-1 win. Yuki Yanagita had a big day for the Fukuokans with a pair of RBIs in the 6th and two more off his 28th home run to seal it in the 8th. Yeah, the Hawks are pretty good.

It's going to be cloudy with light NW winds, but it should again be quite pleasant outside by mid-afternoon. Four deer were spotted as they meandered gracefully along the fence line late yesterday afternoon, so we'll need to keep an eye out for them today as well.

No chance of spotting any actual human behavior from this garbage President Ding Dong guy. His low-brow followers have also lately been behaving just as badly as ever, some using bulldozers to crash through fences and knock down Biden yard signs, others setting fire to real ballot drop boxes while setting up fake ones. Such a lack of class these horrid brownshirts have. Be sure your 2020 ballot sends these losers the sort of message they so much deserve.

In other news, Rakuten piled up a 13-run lead before poor Nippon Ham could get on the board on Sunday. The Golden Eagles had looked like contenders early on, but they've faded now, and of course the Hawks have been just unstoppable, so no Pacific League joy in Tohoku this year. Maybe next.

It will of course be a much longer wait than that in run-down Falls Church City. Its babbling ignoramus problem alone will take a great deal of time to tone down.
