So here's the big day. After yet another cataclysmic collapse of civilization in even the barest and most meager forms in which it might once have been known amongst the Whiffies, the wife and I will soon enough be headed off to patrol the length of Washington Avenue, admiring I'm sure all those grassy areas with trees of varying sizes along thw way. No plans for dining experiences attached to the trip at this time, but you never know. Things could always change on that front on the spur of the moment. The equity line stands ready to support whatever we decide.

Meanhwile, having recently returned from bringing in the morning paper, I can report that it's a lovely 66 degres outside, with the humidity falling from levels induced by a few overnight sprinkles. It's mostly cloudy skies that we've got, but there should be substantial clearing over the course of the afternoon. High temps should be in the mid-70's with some definite breezes blowing. All in all, a fine Fall day.

Slow day for once on stupid shit done by President Ding Dong. A couple of prosecutors have resigned from their panels noting that they have become politically driven dog-and-pony shows, but that's not really new. This sort of crap is SOP for the GOP.

In other news, the Nats again took and then blew an early 5-0 lead over the Braves last night, with Daniel Hudson allowing the score to go from 7-4 to 7-7 in an unsuccessful 9th inning save opportunity. The extra-innings invisible-man-on-2nd thing didn't work out for anyone until the 12th, when Michael A Taylor finally poked a 2-out, 0-2 pitch into tight for a clean and game-winning single. Nice moment for a nice guy who hasn't had a lot of those this year, but i's otherwise just another meaningless phony-ball blip.

Blips are nothing new in the Sorry City of Falls Church of course, the latest one being that with four out of five available votes needed to approve Insight's latest plans for the Broad & Washington project and no resolution of downtown parking issues yet in sight, the City Council will again postpone its consideration of the project. Speech-making by Insight will occur at this week's meeting instead. No news yet on The Corpse of S Washington Street, by the way.

Which President was the last to have been born in a log cabin? Like that one, your questions are utterly irrelevant, being merely the product of a weak and desperate mind hopelessly trying to run away from the simple fact that he fucked up between what's north and what's south. Should have just let it go at that and been done with it. Dope.

Meanwhile, we are now back and unpacked in the welcoming Sweet Spot with both new goodies and many more changes to report this month. It turns out that the heavy pruning of August was prelude to removal of a very substantial portion of what had been the 'enveloping canopy', making elements of the AVDL Memorial (even stone and bronze ones) that had been visible only by diverting down 2nd Street also visible from Washington Avenue. Though not as severe to the south, cutbacks carry all the way down to the freeway area, which now more resembles a typical apple orchard than a dense stand of woods. There may of course have been some reasons for all this, but stylistically, I think it opens the area to Freedom Plaza-type charges of being a featureless urban steppe characterized by unrelenting and visitor-discouraging wind, rain, and temperature extremes.

No change though in the location of either the railroad tracks or the intersection with S Capitol Street. All that remains as it was.

LOL! When the picture clearly shows portions of both streets intersecting north of the tracks, it is not an irrelevant question. Admittedly, it is an uncomfortable question for you to answer as it leaves you with two very bad options. You either don’t know the answer thus proving your complete lack of familiarity with the area in question. Look back at the map, dope. The intersection is where the push-pin is. It does not extend off in any direction. It is where it is. As for pruning, substantial activity of the type was reported last month. Today.’s trip — one of a number of rather regular visits now — showed that significant thinning and removal had taken place in the interim. You were not there today nor on any recent day. You don’t know crap about what’s going on down there.

Your report was noted to be a lie. Photos and my own frequent visits to the area proved as much.

While crews pull weeds and other routine landscaping activities, no trees were pruned or trimmed at all. Views from a month ago are substantially similar to views one would see today. You are simply a liar and irrefutable evidence has demonstrated as much.

cbk?cb_client=maps_sv.tactile&authuser=0

Thrice this month already. Likely to double by this time next week.

LOL! You've managed to bungle just about every description you've attempted of the place. One blunder after another that forced you to shamelessly resort to a string of lies. Meanwhile, the area is a frequent destination for me. I even use exit 6 at times. Nobody pulls an automatic weapon on me or anything remotely like that. I make a left or right off of the exit and go on my merry way. You just make shit up and then have an avalanche of evidence come crashing down all around you showing you to be nothing more than a fraud.

Well, the Whiffies wandered away into some wonderland of weirdness last night, merely it would seem as the result of yesterday's on-the-scene, eye-witness reporting of all the latest news from the vicinity of Wash Ave SW. Obviously, none of these bumblers has been there for a while. Quite a LONG while.

In the meantime, we have just another gorgeous morning to enjoy out here in the simply superior Sweet Spot. It was a cool 61 degrees when I got up today with lots of sunshine, gentle breezes, low humidity, and little chance of any rain at all. Very pleasant stroll out to grab the morning papar, even in the absence of wildlife friends, They've been consistent in popping around near sunset lately, so I expect such a thing to occur later on at about the time Cash Cab hours will be winding down.

Winding down would be a good thing for the nntirely delusional President Ding Dong to do, but he's instead gone traipsing off to the Southwest in order to blamw Democrats out that way for the decline of western civilization as we have known it. He'll try to sell the glories of a forest-raking Noregian society to bunches of Hispanic and Native Americans. What a clown!

In other news, Patrick Corbin threw well enough last night against the Braves, but he was bested by Atlanta's top pitching prospect (the flute-less Ian Anderson), who baffled Nats bats through seven innings, allowing just one bunt base hit to an open left side. The home team had a couple of late chances to make a move, but each of those fizzled out and the Braves wound up with a 2-1 win that pushed the DC side even further into last place in the NL East, 9.0 games down to ATL and 5.0 games off a wild-card pace. Though gooses are cooked here, we'll try this again in just a few minutes, as Max Scherzer goes up against Kyle Wright. This shouldn't be a close game, but it might very well be.

Also out of the running of course are all of these scrambled-brain losers from Falls Church City. Mystified by street views everywhere, and unable to fathom what a proper intersection might consist of, they are just ever left in the dust by people with a brain and even half a brain. Meanwhile former FCC Mayor, Louis Blair, has died at 81 years of age, but his body was not found lying in the middle of S Washington St, sources report.

Then what's the name of the street it is parked on?

And the deer have been by three times now, the first time as a group of five — the doe and her two fawns up here by the house, and the other two down by the road. They’ve got a lot more life in them today than what The Dope does.

LOL! the lying shit-shack shut-in is doomed and he knows it. He can't name the street the pickup truck is parked on in the picture above. He can't name the street in front of the pickup truck in the picture above. He's wholly unfamiliar with a traffic island being used for turning vehicles at intersections.

It's like he's doing his best Bono impersonation crooning about where the streets have no name. Well, he definitely wants to run and he wants to hide. He's certainly been trampled into dust. It's all he can do!

So, the first President to take the Oath of Office from a woman was Lyndon Johnson, aboard Air Force One on the tragic afternoon of November 22, 1963. And or course, we must each also confront the fact that the white pickup truck is not parked on S Capitol Street, that there are people out there who never did discover what the obvious but unusual thing about Brine was, and that Brockmont is indeed a populated place within the West Falls Church CDP (known as the Jefferson CDP prior to 2010).

Well, he Whiffies were able only to wobble off into the woe of the wounded yesterday, having not been able to understand the nature of actual streets or intersections, and still unclear about this whole North-South thing as well. Laughable.

Meanwhile, we have the makings of another fine morning out here in the soon to be sunny Sweet Spot. We have had a few of these overnight clouds hanging around here early on, but those should be burned off shortly, leaving a sunny 70 degrees behind along with a pleasant breeze and the humidity falling from a start at 85%. There is almost no chance of rain today or tonight, but highs will only be in the mid-70's, as Summer has just up and left us here. We could see daily highs in the 60's by as soon as next weekend. Still, it was an easy run out and down to grab up he morning paper. No wildlife sightings yet, but there could well be another deluge of sorts by late afternoon. The deer were thick like mayflies there for a while yesterday.

Thick on a 24/7 basis of course is the infantile President Ding Dong. Justifying an illegal mass indoor rally in Nevada yesterday by comparing the event to imaginary riots, th ampaign of Shame has put the host private sector entity at risk of fines and loss of its business license. Trump says he'll stand with them against any legal pushback, but even his supporters know he won't do that. It's all just wedge issue hot air designed to fan the flames of divisions in society, What a terrible person to have put in charge of anything at all.

In other news, the now 36-year old Max Scherzer tried to will himself beyond his own natural limits yesterday. He should have come out with a 4-2 lead after throwing 100+ pitches in five somewhat uneven innings, but he was hot to get back out there for the sixth, and promptly gave up a pair of 2-run homers that sent the Braves on their way to what would become an easy 8-4 triumph over the now nearly eliminated from everything DC side. What a difference a year makes. NO GAME TODAY as the signs used to say, but play will resume on Tuesday down in St. Petersburg, where no fans in the stands has been a common thing for some years now. The Rays need a new stadium, and perhaps, a new city along wityh it.

Also in need of a new city of course would be the wretched refuse of Falls Church City. Not much news from over there of late (especially re The Corpse of S Washington Street), but hopefully problems with spatial recognition and understanding of urban landscapes have not gotten too far out of hand over there. Repeat after me: Person-woman-man-camera-TV.   LOL!

LOL! You had no clue about the large asphalt parking lot at the corner of S. Capitol and Washington Avenue. None. That led to your blunder which you are now doubling down on with lies.

To make matters worse, you appear to be clueless to the use of traffic islands to channel traffic from one street to another at intersections.

Your whole area where the streets have no names nonsense is laughable.

Face it, you got caught in another blunder and now you have to resort to these fantastic lies to try and squirm your way out of it. Nobody is buying it because nobody is as stupid as you.

If you are driving southbound in the 600 block of S. Capitol St. and you wish to proceed northwest on Washington Ave. would you make a right turn where the pickup truck is? An incorrect answer or refusal to answer will only confirm that you know nothing about the area (this will be the third time).

OK, with all your frequent trips down Washington Ave., you should have no problem providing the name of the street that the white pickup truck is parked on in the photo below.

Do you know what the fencing on the right side of the photo behind the no parking sign encloses?

Why is it you can't answer basic questions about an area you've claimed to travel to monthly? You've already been forced to retreat from your bogus claims regarding the views of the glass and granite walls of the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial.

So, you had to Google your way there. Looks like a large asphalt parking lot. It certainly isn't a large grassy area! LOL! You walked right into that one! Dope.

Now, have you figured out the name of the street that the white pickup truck is parked on in the photo(s) above? You've now seen it from two perspecives. Of course, you should have been able to recognize it from your numerous alleged trips to the area.

I sure did because that IS where it is parked.

And what's the name of the street do you think it is parked on?

No return trip? Either way, the lot is visible to southbound drives as well. As noted previously, the median is wider than normal there, but it not so wide that you wouldn't be able to see the large asphalt parking lot and S. Capitol St. to the east of it. For all of your interest in the area, you should check it out sometime.

Your life is lived by doing nothing more than bouncing between lies and blunders.

Now, man the fuck up for a change and provide the name of the street that the white pickup truck is parked on in the photo(s) above. You've now seen it from two perspecives. Of course, you should have been able to recognize it from your numerous alleged trips to the area.
