LOL! The City in the end was forced to choke on $40 million, which was less than what they had previously called 'pennies on the dollar' and thrown back in the face of the County that would then so handily use the courts to liberate tens of thousands by stripping the overseer City of its favorite little cash cow. As for real estate, FCC's net gain was less than two acres after taking into account the developed lands that the City had to forfeit. Not at all surprisingly, you've made quite the habit out of not mentioning those over the years.
Once again for the hard of hearing, Fairfax Water now controls all of the gray area shown below. Except for that little clove-shaped bit marked 'Falls Church' at the lower right.
