Damn, you are dumb,

Social Security is fixed-income. Your pension is a fixed income. The COLA is a change in your monthly benefit to ensure that your purchasing power remains the same even when prices rise due to inflation. That's it. The fact that needs to be told to you is only an indicator of how stupid you are.

Enjoy your $3600, loser.

All your firewood are belong to us.

No, you poorly educated feckless dumbfuck. We in fact do have a fixed income private sector pension stream. It did not change as of January 1 because it does not have a COLA attached. Other streams that do have a COLA attached are not fixed, as evidenced by the simple fact that each of those increased this month. That’s how it works. Dope.

Sure you are as fixed income is commonly used. Don't even try your usual dumb shit of trying apply some strict definition where income can never change.

Social Security, being the most commonly referred to source of "fixed income," includes COLA. And even then it's still fixed on a real dollar basis.

What do you think ‘fixed’ means, asshole?

It has since 1975. Making it no longer ‘fixed income’. Idiot.

Ack! And so then are all income streams that include a COLA. They just don’t come much dumber than you.

In this context "fixed income" means that a person's income is limited in some way and not expected to change in a material way. Also typically meaning that their discretionary spending also is limited.

We are not talking strictly about bonds or other similar sources of income with a fixed interest rate or other defined payment. Only massive douche like you would try to make that jump.

Yes, and if someone (e.g., a retiree) is dependent on it for the bulk of their income then they're generally considered to be living on a "fixed income."

So the worfully under-educated and whacked out Whiffies just fell down and down and down and down last night over the rather simple concept of 'living on a fixed income.' They even bobbled the ball when trying to run off and google it, ending up swirling around in a morass of useless articles about fixed-income investments. It's just shameful.

The defining aspect of a fixed income is (unsurprisingly) that it is fixed. Social Security used to be that way. You paid FICA taxes over all those years, and then at age 65, you went in and they took the number of years that you had worked and the level of covered wages you had earned in each of those years, and after a few turns of the crank, out came your monthly SS benefit -- perhaps $135 in 1970. That's what you got this month, and next month, and the month after that for as long as you were still alive. And that system worked pretty well, as long as people did not live all that long after retirement and there was not much inflation going on.

The system was tripped up on both counts however by the time of the Vietnam War and the Arab Oil Embargo. By then, the age of 70 was not 'old' anymore, and between 1972 and 1974, inflation rates tripled. Seniors trying to live on that same old $135 per month were getting killed. So Congress added a COLA that went into effect in 1975. SS would no longer be a fixed income benefit, but would instead be adjusted each year to offset the effects of inflation. As of January 1 of this year, an increase of 1.3% went into effect, thus preserving the purchasing power of monthly SS benefits.

Various military and civil service pensions also enjoy such protections along with some private sector entities, particularly those where unions have managed to remain strong. That's where our recently received $300 a month increase came from. Absent unions, many corporate pensions have reverted to being mere fixed-income pension benefits once again. In the long run, this will operate to the detriment of those who are dependent on those benefits.

So maybe you toadies have managed to learn something about 'fixed income' and other financial flows here. I kind of doubt it though, as your track records at such things are pretty much just plain dismal.

Well, while the Whiffie hamsters may be expected to continue in their aimless stumbling about, we more astute types out here in the glorious Sweet Spot are heading into the next chapter of Bright, Sunny, and Wintry Days, the same book we have been reading for a while now. It was but 28 degrees outside when I got up, and again, the mid-40's will be about the best we can hope to see. There is still too much in the way of wind as well. We could easily do without so much of that going on. All sun all the time though, and while we have not had any actual precipitation of late, we are not likely to either. Just another day to snuggle up like a bug in a rug and while away the morning with a few cups of freshly brewed single-estate Kona. Mmm-mmm, good!

Not so good of course, is the time being had now by the rudderless derelict hulk known as President Ding Dong. His Twitter toy has been taken away from him for good now, and he's very, very mad abut that. Congress has said that he must resign, or they will impeach him again. Executive branch types who have not already left in disgust have been reminded that they need not obey the orders of a madman, which is about all that is left wandering the White House halls at the moment. He is toast, and so most likely are the twin Senate turds, Cruz and Hawley, dudes who are quite plainly not actually smart, and not at all worthy of further political respect or attention. Time to clean house on these losers.

In other news, TOR has brought back former Nats RHP A.J. Cole on a minor league deal. Just tuned 29, he was once billed as an up-and-comer, but in truth, he was given a bit of the Shawn Abner treatment, and was never really all that much of a prospect. And of course, Tommy Lasorda has passed away at the age of 93. He was tainted by a long history of being a Dodger, but he was nevertheless a pretty much bright and admirable baseball man.

No such folks can be so easily found anywhere in unfortunate Falls Church City of course. You'd think that the notion of a 'fixed income' would be well established there, but no. It's all just bozos and babblers in every little nook and cranny, plus the occasional idiot walking mile after mile to get to some nondescript strip-mall Mediterranean place. This so-called FCC is just the dumps and pits for sure.

You're the one trying to twist things just for something to argue about. And you fucked up your own BS here.

It's very simple dummy...

"Living on a fixed income" refers to the source(s) of income for an individual. That is the context used when he was ridiculing your lack of cash flow.

"Fixed-income" as you are attempting to twist it describes the terms of a specific source.

Most normal humans can easily understand the distinction. Yes, living on SS is very commonly said to be "living on a fixed income."

You fucked up. Again.

Even when you try to explain your way out of your fuck up, you just fuck up some more.

Just like you fucked up with weather along the Space Coast where actual recorded temperatures and precipitation measurements are in direct conflict with your lies.

Just like you fucked up with townhouses painted in a questionable array of colors in Great Forest where street-view images directly contradict your bogus claims.

Just like you fucked up with foliage at the American Veterans Disabled for Life Memorial where street-view images captured in August of 2019 and visitor photos taken in November 2020 confirm you lied.

By your foolish definition, Social Security was never "fixed" income. Prior to 1975, Congress would provide COLAs from time to time. After 1975, COLAs were automatic based on inflation. The formula has always been fixed as it applies to base payments and COLAs. Short of writing your MOC and Senators and urging them to increase payments, there isn't a damn thing you can do about how much money you get from Social Security as it is fixed by the same formula since 1975.

Everyone else understands this, it is quite revealing that you do not. You really are a fraud and there is nothing you can do to alter that fact.

Reliving your past losses is no way to atone for your current blunder. You clearly don't understand that for people living on a fixed income, the COLA is a critical safety net. The two concepts are so intrinsically intertwined that it is utterly amazing that a so-called expert in finance doesn't know that.

Have you been able to find any recorded weather conditions that support your bogus assertions? No? Didn't think so. You're just like your boy Donald - always spouting bullshit without any evidence. You whine like his sorry ass too.

And of course all Frozen Florida weather data posted here by me were posted first by the NWS folks at the Cape Canaveral station, including the freeze warnings and small craft advisories. You might as well have driven off to the Upper Peninsula, troll. Not sure if they have PVC or paper plate places there though.

The COLA is fixed by statutory formula as is the base amount. All of story. Social Security Income is fixed income and it is commonly referred to as such. You didn't know that because you are dumb.

And yet, the recorded temperatures and precipitation amounts don't match with your accounts. And, you can's seem to account for those discrepancies.

The answer to that is easy and it is often the case with many of your bogus claims - you lied. What you claim to have observed in real time are nothing but lies. You were too stupid to understand that weather conditions are kept for historical purposes. The dull and boring Whiffies can only continue on in their unremarkable and unoriginal ways, stinging still from the bites of disappointment over their frostbitten Florida foray, their continuing failure (even with all their once-noted google skills) to find the CMYK street view, and their years-long inability to post any proper or dynamic description of the sights along Washington Avenue. They even get the location of its intersection with South Capitol Street wrong. Then after so badly botching the notion of ‘fixed income’, they foolishly invoke the disgraced name of Donald Trump, a pariah like themselves, perhaps not realizing that it is his sense of honesty and integrity that is perhaps most like their own. The fools.

Well, the Whiffies continue to bring nothing at all to the table, but the dawn has brought to us out here in the ever so superior Sweet Spot yet another crisp, bright, and beautiful winter morning. Sun pouring down from near cloudless skies and a reading of 36 degrees that with all but no wind at all, felt warmer than what we've had the paat few days. In any case, the stroll down and back to bring in the morning paper was rather a pleassnt one.

Mostly unpleasant these days of course is the now Twitter-less life of the most likely soon to be impeached, and already much disgraced, I'll be there with you, President Ding Dong. A greater America-hater has not been seen along Pennsylvania Avenue in ever such a long time. Just ten days at the most until he's done, if we can find some way to make it through them.
.
In other news, the Nats have for better or worse pulled the trigger on a risky 1-year $10M deal with defensively challenged near 28-year old Kyle Schwarber, who hit all of .188 for the Cubs in 2020. In years past, he has been a legit power bat from the left side though, so the hope is that he can display that form once again while not making a complete mess of things in left field. The jury is still out on both counts.

The verdict came back a long time ago of course on miserable Falls Church City. There is really just no reason at all to live there or even to go there, save for the purpose of passing through on the way to someplace else. On the plus side, even in the Little City, if you are in Group 1b, you can call 703-324-7404 starting Monday to get an appointment to receive a COVID-19 vaccination. Group 1b includes adults age 75 or older, people living in homeless shelters, correctional facilities, and migrant labor camps, and frontline essential workers. Nothing yet for nursing home residents.

Once again, your story changes. Not to mention, I never read your morning bullshit (which you know oh so well by now), so once again you think I am everyone that torments you. I guess your sad, fragile ego can't accept the fact that more than one person mocks your lies and blunders.

Pretty sad though that you can't keep up with the news that nursing home residents have been getting vaccinated for a few weeks now. It's just another sign of your mental decline. Perhaps the hag should look into placing you in one if you can afford it. I know it's tough living on your "fixed" income. Vacation bills can't even be paid in full when they come due. LOL!

While helpful to an impotent invalid like you, those places can only do so much. For instance, they wouldn't be able to help you find and post any recorded weather data that substantiates your bogus claims. None exists and it damns you to being a lying dipshit.

Nor would they be able to find and post any images of townhouses painted in a questionable array of colors in Great Forest. None exist and it too damns you to being a lying dipshit.

They might be able to get you properly medicated though so that you could drop your delusions. Maybe help a bit with your dementia. Let you see some professionals to deal with your antisocial personality disorder.

Maybe you need such a place and your constant droning on and on about such a place is just another of your projections.

Total fabrication. This fraud however is completely obvious, in part because since you should have been posting -- as any actual and rational diner would have -- concerning the food, service, value, and atmosphere of the place. There's a reason why TripAdvisor for instance focuses its ratings on on those four categories. There was also a reason why you did not. And we all know exactly what that reason was. You chose to focus only on price.

LOL!

And once again, like an oafish clod, you actually post while pretending to be at an upscale dining establishment. Actual clientele of such places would look at you for doing such a thing the way the diners at Chez Paul viewed Jake and Elwood.

Of course, the fake meal was a feeble attempt to distract from your latest lies and blunders and your inability to refute the charges against you....

Well, one thing you can say about 3-hour $900 lunches for four on a Sunday afternoon is that they are sleep-inducing. Apparently, they also put a burr up the butt of some raving lunatics. To them, I say keep your rocket in your pocket -- all the Trip Advisor details will be revealed in due time. Just polished off the last of the wedge salad though. Didn't have a lot of faith in its ability to stay fresh in the fridge for very long. I had debated briefly between the wedge and a half-dozen Standish Shore Massachusetts oysters. Finally, said what the heck, and got them both. Very glad of that decision. Each was great.

So, glad to see that the sting of having been so easily caught lying about Fiola Mare and its flow-codes is still so strong. The continuing seethe and burn of that total collapse can be joined now by the envy and butthurt of having never been to Eddie V's either. We don't go nearly as often as The Principals do (they both enjoy the bar there with some regularity), but we do end up there for a good meal two or three times a year. Live jazz during dinner most nights, but not at lunch on a Sunday.

Things began yesterday with a Perfect Margarita and a Hope Diamond martini (Grey Goose with grapefruit liqueur over an elderberry-and-tea-infused ice cube), plus the first of two bottles of Santa Margherita. I had lobbied briefly for trying the Livio Felluga, but the tried and true ultimately won out. I didn't really feel like the headline steak or lobster, and I'd had the very good GB Scallops recently, so I gave the mustard-glazed Norwegian Salmon a whirl. Sweet and a bit peppery, it's on a par with GAR's excellent short-smoked salmon, a dish that the wife has great fondness for. Around the table then were an order of Twin Lobster Tails, a 22-oz Ribeye with a lobster tail, and King Crab Oscar as well.

Along with those excellent oysters and the wedge salad, a plate of tasty Lobster Tacos had previously arrived, as well as a Goat Cheese Salad, and quite the large order of Kung Pao Calamari. I don't really like calamari all that much, but this was so good that we got an extra doggie bag order just to put in the fridge. Gobbled up some of that in the wee hours of this morning, but there's still as much yet to go. Sides included Lobster Mashed Potatoes and the absolute must-order Crab Fried Rice. For dessert, Bananas Foster and Berries with Cream, supplemented by some Bailey's and Grand Marnier, and of course coffee. As almost always happens, by the end of the meal, a half dozen EV staff had recognized our dining partners and come over to say hi. The industry is just like that.

The service was meanwhile not perfect, as the second bottle of wine was slow in arriving, as was the check once all was said and done and finally eaten. Still went with a 40% tip, in part because we were there for three hours, and in part because we were not charged for the doggie bag order of calamari.

We usually sit by the windows and watch the Metro trains roll in and out, but we were over against the glassed-in wall of wine racks this time. With a half-dozen other tables seated, that allowed for welcome and appropriate COVID spacing. And since there are those who care mostly about cool parking spaces, we were the only car in the first floor lot when we arrived, and also when we departed. So special!

Let's also remember that a CDC study has found that adults with positive SARS-CoV-2 test results were approximately twice as likely to have reported dining at a restaurant than were those with negative SARS-CoV-2 test results.

CDC also urges diners to minimize the time you spend in the restaurant or bar. The longer you stay, the more you increase your risk.

CDC also recommends that diners eat outdoors, if possible. You are less likely to get or spread COVID-19 during outdoor activities. Look for seating options that are outside and have proper ventilation of outdoor air, such as tents that have open doors or rolled up sides.

CDC says to wear masks at all times, both indoors and outdoors, except when you are actively eating or drinking. Masks help protect both you and those around you.

The dope just admitted to engaging in activity AMA despite whining and crying about a trip south with members of the same household who had limited exposure to individuals outside that household. Then he was so butthurt about it, he lied about the weather.

Of course, his whole lunch was a fantasy.

Well, that was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon yesterday. Always nice to have time to chat and dine with good friends and eat up some great food. And for those of you who may have missed it, I actually did post three times from Eddie V's, but that was nothing compared to the work done by the guy across from me who had to deal with a house full of server staff front-of-the-house failed COVID tests. That's at least two weeks in quarantine for all of the flunkers, so Plans B, C, and D had to be rolled out from right there at good old Eddie V's.

I've meanwhile only posted once since the sun came up, and that to reveal guess what to all you bated breath devotees -- it's another crisp, bright, and glorious winter morning out here in the stunning Sweet Spot! Yes! It was in fact 30 degrees when I first got up, under what are expected to be partly cloudy skies over most of the day. The start of a walk out to grab the morning paper however revealed that none had been delivered. So I did indeed hasten over to the convenience store to grab a copy. No pizza in the self-service hot box, but I was able to pick up a half-gallon of milk, an extra Stouffer's mac & cheese, a sausage, egg, and cheese croisaant, and a cheese danish. So there!

Also facing a stern 'So there!' of course is the totally reviled and disgraced President Ding Dong. Either his on the outs VP launches a 25th Amendment action within 24 hours, or the House will vote a second bill of impeachment. What a horrible mistake it was ever to have elected such a clown-villain.

In other news, the moribund Center Field Social space along the west side of the CF Plaza at Nats Park will be taken over by the sports-book BetMGM, which will also have a two-block wifi zone for its betting app. I'm guessing that cellphone use at the ballpark will go up once we get back in 'action'. LOL!

No action at all at any time is of course expected over in all but petrified Falls Church City, as its long list of liars and self-confessed LTCF residents do much to keep a lid on things. What an utter waste the Tiny City is!

Then those conditions would be reflected in the historical numbers recorded at that station. The numbers actually recorded there and posted for the world to see directly contradict your assertions. If they didn't, you'd actually post them. You don't because they show you are a liar.

Doubtful you adhered to this recommendation.

These recommendations were posted a full four days before your selfish and unpatriotic outing increasing the risk to yourselves and others for contracting COVID according to CDC science and medical advice.

You not only decided to flout these recommendations, you doubled down on your brash and imprudent decision by staying far longer than suggested. After all, the longer you stay, the more you increase your risk.

Those are the facts. You can ignore them if you like, but you do so at your own peril. CDC even offered ways to mitigate your exposure during such outings. You ignored those as well.

And yet one has endured a large-scale outbreak among staff members. He should be proud of his own little COVID cluster! He sounds like a top-notch manager and his employees sound very cautious. LOL! I hope he reported his outbreak to the proper health authorities and the contract tracers have been in contact with the appropriate diners and staff who were exposed to his reckless employees. Of course, it says much about his character that he continued to dine with a couple of susceptible geriatrics after learning of the calamity and his own potential exposure at his establishment.

Hmm. So, you not only ignored the science and recommendations, you are now making excuses as to why you did. Of course, there are ways to mitigate one's exposure by doing as you suggested. However, you didn't seem to understand that very simple concept until you decided to flout CDC recommendations yourself. Glass houses and all.

Per CDC recommendations, my 10 day COVID quarantine ends in a few hours (and that is being generous as I am including the drive time). You just flouted their recommendations yesterday. You're a selfish asshole, so you won't be quarantining yourself despite the fact you came in contact with far more people during your alleged meal than I did during my near two week trip.

There's No Denying The Evidence: Restaurants And Bars Are Helping Spread COVID-

The hospitality sector’s protests around the world over bans on their activities, limiting them at best to selling takeaways, contrasts with the scientific evidence: well-meaning restaurant and bar owners insist they have complied scrupulously with health and safety measures, but there is no getting away from the fact that a business where people must remove their masks in order to eat or drink, has increased infection rates.

At the aggregate level, the first study to portray the obvious correlation between restaurant openings and the spread of COVID-19 was published in June by Johns Hopkins University, using data on credit card spending by 30 million customers in the United States and correlating it to the evolution of the pandemic in each state. The relationship was clear: the more spending on restaurants, the greater the number of infections.

That study was followed by another, carried out by Stanford University and published on November 10. Using a very different methodology, the outcome was nevertheless the same: researchers tracked the smartphones of more than 98 million people between March and May, taking into account the number of times their subjects went to restaurants, gyms and hotels, and concluding that if restaurants were authorized to open at full capacity, they would be responsible for more than 600,000 infections in a city like Chicago, and that, in addition, the distribution was irregular and impossible to predict: 10% of the premises were responsible for 85% of the expected infections.

The problem restaurants face has nothing to do with hygiene or any other measures, but on something beyond their control: the presence of super-spreaders. Basically, if you share space in a restaurant with one of these super-spreaders, your chances of becoming infected are very high, regardless of whether the restaurant has diligently complied with hygiene measures, replacing its menu with a QR code, providing hydro-alcoholic gel or ensuring that its staff keep their masks on at all times. Simply put, contagion is something completely beyond their control.

This study, recently published in Nature, is the worst news for restaurant owners, because no matter how hard they try, they cannot disassociate themselves from their role in spreading infection. The hospitality industry plays a huge role in our economies, but we have to accept that the only way, right now, to control the pandemic is to limit restaurants and bars to takeaways, which will still require the strictest standards of hygiene.

So, you once again, you are completely fucked and you did it to yourself.

You were either ignorant of or completely flouted the CDC recommendations regarding dining out at restaurants despite being downright puritanical about them just a few short days ago.

You got caught lying about Space Coast weather.

Your own alleged dining partner runs his own COVID cluster hotspot.

You clearly don't know the difference between flout and flaunt. That's just plain dumb.

So, now you are once again reduced to the baseless bluster of a badly beaten buffoon. Again, I can practically set my watch by the time you thrown in the towel on a daily basis.

Fairfax County Enters New Vaccine Phase but COVID-19 Cases Continue to Soar

Fairfax County set a new record today by averaging 534.9 new COVID-19 cases over the past seven days, a sobering sign even as the county starts making vaccines available to more segments of the population.

The number of new daily COVID-19 cases continues to follow an upward trajectory. Fairfax County reported 741 new cases today — the second-highest number of daily reported cases since the county recorded a single-day record of 897 cases on Dec. 21.

The Fairfax Health District has now recorded 50,379 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began, along with 723 deaths and 3,115 hospitalizations.

Eat shit, Linus. Stop flouting norms and flaunting your abject ignorance on so many topics. Restaurants are open for indoor dining in Virginia. They of course take steps to protect guests and keep infected staff quarantined at home. If such steps were not possible or effective, the Governor would have made decisions other than the ones he has. Dope.

What don't you understand about:

Quote

The problem restaurants face has nothing to do with hygiene or any other measures, but on something beyond their control: the presence of super-spreaders. Basically, if you share space in a restaurant with one of these super-spreaders, your chances of becoming infected are very high, regardless of whether the restaurant has diligently complied with hygiene measures, replacing its menu with a QR code, providing hydro-alcoholic gel or ensuring that its staff keep their masks on at all times. Simply put, contagion is something completely beyond their control.

LOL! Your recent trip to the dictionary aside, you clearly didn't know the difference between flout and flaunt until it was pointed out to you.

> Restaurants are open for indoor dining in

Airports, hotels and various other travel industry businesses remain open as well, yet you were downright puritanical about CDC recommendations just a few short days ago regarding that industry, yet you choose to flout the CDC recommendations regarding dining out at restaurants.

> They of course take steps to protect

Despite steps taken by the industry, a CDC study has found that adults with positive SARS-CoV-2 test results were approximately twice as likely to have reported dining at a restaurant than were those with negative SARS-CoV-2 test results.

Take a look at Principal COVID Cluster. He has a large outbreak at his facility. Has the contact tracing been done to ensure those exposed are notified? If the steps were as effective as you claimed there would not be a clustered hotspot in one restaurant.

There are calculated risks involved with any endeavor outside the home these days. Point is you were a puritanical asshole about interstate travel with extremely limited interactions with non-household members while you flaunt(LOL!) your alleged outings to restaurants where you are visited by a number of strangers throughout your meal. You definitely came in contact with more people on your 3 hour fateful trip than I did on my two week trip south. You're just a hypocritical dope.

You want to go out to meals with guys who run COVID hotspots? Fine. But, once you do that, you have no business critiquing anyone else's choices that are, in fact, far less risky.

Your dumbass walked into this mess because you are just plain stupid.

LOL! Look at him try to run from his flouting of CDC recommendations by having a 3 hour meal indoors with others, including Principal COVID Cluster. He also wishes he could hide from his flout/flaunt fuckup.

As for weather conditions along the Space Coast during my trip, all one needs to do is check the historical data recorded at his preferred Cape Canaveral weather station to see he's full of shit. Of course, if he was anywhere near being correct, he'd post that data himself. I've posted the data. He hasn't. There's no mystery why that's the case.

Today has been particularly embarrassing for him. Such a dope.

Poor little worthless shit-slinger. Every day is a day in the dumps for the no-account loser asshole. What a dope. Finished off the Kung Pao Calamari tonight. Still very good. And by the way, The Principals each deal with 100 to 150 employees. Can’t keep them from doing dumb things (like driving to Florida) on their own time. Can only test them and send them home when they flunk, while insisting that all staff and guests observe established COVID protocol while on the property. Done properly, this works.

Or, apparently flouting CDC guidelines and recommendations regarding dining out. Let's remember, however, that these same Principals seem to be continually dealing with multiple outbreaks of COVID at their establishments according to your own accounts. Given your accounts of such matters, it is far more likely the place of exposure to COVID is the eating establishment rather than somewhere else. By your own accounts, there have been multiple outbreaks at these dining establishments over the past few weeks. These accounts, of course, completely undermine your assertions that steps have been taken to mitigate the spread of COVID. In fact, Principal COVID Cluster is likely responsible for one of the larger outbreaks in the region. You still never indicated whether appropriate contract tracing has taken place for his outbreak. Let's also not forget that Principal COVID Cluster did nothing to discourage multiple people from coming over and unnecessarily interacting with you, your hag, or his boyfriend.

Except for the fact that the CDC has concluded that adults with positive SARS-CoV-2 test results were approximately twice as likely to have reported dining at a restaurant than were those with negative SARS-CoV-2 test results.

So, it is only new waves of even more extreme Whiffie ignorance, envy, and butthurt that have been revealed in the wake of our delightful and entirely COVID compliant $900 Sunday lunch with The Principals at upscale Eddie V's, a place that (like so many others) local LTCF inmates have never actually been to. And doesn't that create in theie likes a certain pitch of personal pique. Just as did having real-time NWS freeze warnings and such thrust in their failed, foolish, and frostbitten Florida faces. Just as does the fact that a restaurant's doing effective in-house COVID testing is a good thing. And just I suppose as will the fact that 'flaunt' mean to treat contemptuously. It is a word often used in describing forms of callous disregard for accepted rules, advice, norms, or guidelines. Live and learn.

Well, just as the Whiffies engage their hopeless flailing and fuming as usual, we out here in the spectacular Sweet Spot enjoy as usual another bright, crisp, clean, and brilliant winter morning. It was 34 degrees outside when I got up with clear skies, gentle breezes, and little to no cause for concern over any pending precipitation. The trip out and back to secure the mrning paper was a pleasant one, and it looks like we have a pleasant day in store as well as we inexorably head toward and into the mid 40's.

Meanwhile, the disloyal President Ding Dong is inexorably headed toward being impeached for a second time. No previous President has had to endure such, but none has asked for it so certainly as this dope either. What an absolute churl he is and always has been. What we have in all this is plain proof that COVID is not the only dangerous and deadly virus that is currently loose in our society.

In other news, Bozo Bobby again told MLB clubs yesterday to prepare for a normal Spring Training and a normal Regular Season. The basis for such assurances is not at all clear at this time, as COVID numbers have continued to climb all but everywhere. It would seem that MLB might have 'an agenda' of some sort that leads to an ignoring of any elephants in the room. I know that we have long abandoned any plans to return to Palm Beach GardenS for a fourth year in a row, though we do still hold out some faint hope for being back in our Club Level seats at Nats Paek in perhaps six months or so. That's probably a long shot too though, whatever the Bozo might say.

Also a long shot of course would be the notion of anything good returning to Falls Church City. There is still a chance though for relief in the Little City from unpaid water and sewer bills, as the deadline for application due to COVID-related hardship has been extended from Dec 31 to Jan 15. Because of the Little City's devastating loss in the Water Wars, applications must be made to Fairfax Water. See their site for details.

Nobody said COVID testing of restaurant employees was bad, dope. It appears, however, that your friends from the Land of Make-believe preside over high-rate of contagion COVID Clusters. Just about 15 days ago, you noted an outbreak at one of there places. Then another just two days ago. Seems more likely the transmission is occurring in the work place rather than multiple people each leaving work, catching COVID somewhere else, then coming back to work and all testing positive on the same day. And, these are the people you put in your COVID bubble? It sounds like their mitigation efforts are downright deplorable. 7 on your side should probably look at their business practices and warn the public of these COVID clusters in the restaurants these two manage. Let's note that neither did nothing to discourage unnecessary contact with Eddie V's staff while dining out with a couple of geriatrics. Hardly responsible behavior. Of course, you flout CDC guidance on a regular basis.

Oh, and I didn't see any links to the historical weather readings from the Cape Canaveral weather station supporting your claims. Did you forget to post those again? If you had those numbers to prove your case, surely you'd want to flaunt them, right?

All you're doing is proving what a moron you are. Eddie V's is just like GAR. It's a chain that serves frozen, microwaved, overpriced supposably "sea food". Anybody who'd spend that kind of money for frozen, microwaved, last week's fish is obviously a dumbo who doesn't know what good seafood is. OH WAIT. This is Actual JP Morgenthau we're dealing with. Actually, you didn't ever post any NWS data. The actual NWS data, posted by me, clearly show you to be a liar. Not much you can do about it but whine and I am sure there will be plenty of that.

And a heavy cluster appears to be at Principal COVID Cluster's establishment. A mere two weeks after a similar outbreak. Doesn't seem much like the mitigation efforts are proving successful.

And, the story changes. It also follows another cluster of outbreaks almost two weeks ago.

With the exact same entrée item priced nearly 20% higher. It's fine if you don't like it, but to call it low-grade just confirms your envy over my many meals there. It is an American fine-dining steakhouse and at the upper end of the Landry's brands.

> while Eddie V’s Prime

Eddie V's is quite nice. Along with Capital Grille, it is at the higher end of the Darden Group which also includes popular places like the Olive Garden and Longhorn Steakhouse.

I call it low-grade because the steakhouse category itself is low-grade, and The Palm is not well rated within it.
