Again for the feeble-minded, Subway is the most popular fast food restaurant in the world. Those who want can load a sandwich up with fat and sodium all day long, but it isn’t necessary.

Lie and deny! LOL! No wonder it’s your personal mantra. It’s all you know how to do, you lying fraud. We’ll be here until at least the weekend.

The strip-mall pizzeria and fresh seafood market/restaurant are superior to anything you’ve tasted in all of 2020.

Please also explain how my 14 second interaction with the masked polite young man who who put my two pies from the strip-mall pizzeria in my car increased my risk of COVID. You’ve yet to comprehend the underlying science behind the holiday COVID warnings. Moving your pod south without expanding it does nothing to increase one’s COVID risk, dope.

Are you in any position to call a place a slop shop given your affinity for GAR and Subway? Subway isn’t fresh, delicious or nutritious. GAR is just god-awful food and service that appeals to the inexperienced and oafish masses.

Also, have you figured out why your so butthurt about a mundane trip to FL?

As for fine dining, a routine outing while in town would include a visit to Cafe Margaux (that word must make your blood boil, loser). Due to COVID and an effort to minimize our contacts, meals have been limited to takeout and those prepared at home with the freshest ingredients. See, travel can include no increased risk of transmission. Of course, the colossally stupid can’t comprehend that.

I’m told there’s some fresh snapper in the fridge for tonight’s meal. Better than what you’ll have. Loser.

Keep crying. It’s making me laugh.

Quick and convenient does not mean it’s good. The Subway food-stamp five-dollar footlong you are so passionate about is 90% of your saturated fat RDA and a whopping 127% of your sodium RDA. That’s before a single condiment is added. Dumbass.

Worse yet, you actually boast about it as if it is some sort of status symbol. It’s just one of the many reasons people laugh at you.

Look how butthurt the lying shit-shack shut-in gets over a mundane trip to FL and a quick takeout order from a strip-mall pizzeria.

He still can’t explain how my 14 second interaction with the masked polite young man who who put my two pies from the strip-mall pizzeria in my car increased my risk of COVID.

Nor can he find the past weather reports and conditions, which are readily available and easily accessible, that could support his claims. Perhaps they aren’t there because he’s lying.

His latest bout of dementia is only exacerbating his already feeble mind plagued with a myriad of mental disorders and disabilities. The hag really should take him in for a mental health intervention.

Of course, that intervention can only do so much. No chance his fragile ego ever accepts the fact numerous people mock him. He’s actually dumb enough to believe sockpuppets are needed to dispatch with his lies and blunders.

Why would you go there at all, and if you did, why would you not shell out to dine at some much nicer place? If all you can afford is downscale Subway, maybe you just can’t afford a vacation at all.

You were told by every public health expert not to travel for the holidays. You claim to have done so anyway, driving some 870 miles each way to spend a few days in some of the absolute worst winter weather that the Space Coast has to offer. You lose, dope.

The ignorant douche is the dope who called his favorite food-stamp five-dollar footling both healthy and healthful. Any idea who that shit-for-brains might be, dumbfuck? It’s neither healthy nor healthful.

You’re now moving the goalposts, dipshit. Something healthy and healthful doesn’t need to be consumed in such infrequent moderation.

You’re burned by your own stupidity once again, asshole.

Let’s not forget that the shit-sub tastes like shit and nowhere near fresh.

You only keep proving you don’t understand the science. Then again, you’re the same dipshit that denies USDA science.

But please, explain how my 14 second interaction with the masked polite young man who who put my two pies from the strip-mall pizzeria in my car increased my risk of COVID.

Nothing? You’re not really making a great case here, dipshit.

A couple of cold days out of nearly two weeks of days in the upper 60s to mid 70s sounds bad to you? I’ve got 4-5 days left of that same nice weather. As a psycho stalker, I’m sure you’re well aware of that.

LOL! Save for the walk-on wife, the douche does not have an actual 'household' to travel with, nor is there a place in Florida that he can call his own through actual ownership to travel to. And of course, traveling at all over Xmas was an example of plain and wilful contravention of and selfish disregard for all but endless pleas and warnings from every known and respected national, state, and local public health official. They all hate you now and are likely glad the trip turned into such a frozen failure for you. We are after all in the midst of a year-end COVID surge because of mask-hole Karen's who decided to travel for Thanksgiving, and thanks to uncaring and anti-social dopes like you, we can now look forward to another such surge in late January. Those who are about to die salute you.

A bit overcast this morning, but clouds are about to break and temps are in the 60s heading to the 70s. Great day for the household members to enjoy some more outdoor activities. Those might include a jaunt on the SUP board or some kayaking.

Something tells me our butthurt bitch still won't be able to explain how my 14 second interaction with the masked polite young man who who put my two pies from the strip-mall pizzeria in my car increased my risk of COVID.

Another thing is for sure, and that's the fact that the lying shit-shack shut-in is going to be butthurt for a very long time over a mundane trip to FL and a couple of pies from a strip-mall pizzeria.

Think he'll mention his own selfish holiday gatherings or meals out where he exposed himself and others to COVID? Perhaps he can explain how that's safer than my 14 second interaction with the masked young man who put the two pies in my car. He won't because he's a hypocrite.

Well, it was right back onto the old hamster wheel for the Whiffies and their tag-along sock puppet pals. Whilst they wish to pretend otherwise, the days of their sorry southern sojourn came to an end this past Sunday at the northern end of another 870-mile trek through lands of unnecessary COVID exposure. They were of course repeatedly rained on at the start of the trip and were then plunged into cold worse than an ice bucket challenge on the back end. I don't imagine that dining out at the homes of paper plates and PVC furniture would have brought much in the way of consolation either. Good to be back home now and within reassuringly easy walking distance of some strip-mall Mediterranean places. So cool!

Out here in the vastly superior Sweet Spot of course, we know not to be found in Florida in the absence of baseball. One of the great lessons of my youth was that the place is basically just a pointless backward hell-hole without mega-doses of horsehide and ash to turn to. Meanwhile, we had a few scattered snow flurries overnight, but rosy-fingered Dawn brought us an uncommonly brilliant orange sunrise and then left us with temps just at 32 degrees with bright blue skies, lots of sunshine, and not enough wind to really matter. Might see some clouds late in the day, but temps will soon reach the mid 40's and then pretty much just sit there for the next 24 hours or so.

It'll be a much worse time than that for the flailing Fat Boy, President Ding Dong. While images of his highly flawed golf swing continue to flicker across our TV screens, he has become persona non grata in absentia within the very government he supposedly leads. Certainly Mitch no longer pays any attention to the royal rants, and Sidney Powell now thinks the GA Senate run-offs are rigged -- for the GOP! It's all just such a joke and mockery of propriety over on the enfeebled right-wing.

In other news, 2020 Nat Eric Thames (34) has signed a one-year deal with NPB's Yomiuri Giants. That's good for $1.2 million, so he'll be getting paid lots more than he would have stateside after a down season. But he might get to play more game than US teams as well. If rumors are accurate, Thames might soon have a new and even richer Tokyo Dome teammate in once well-regarded Justin Smoak. And speaking of rumors, some say the Nats might bite on the Cubs' dangling of catcher Willson Contreras in trade. At 28, he's still both good and cheap enough and would come with two more years of team control. But he might not fit the Nats' preferred personal profile or come at a price in ierms of players that the Nats would actually want to meet. We'll see.

There is of course nothing of any interest at all to see in the wilting world of woeful Falls Church City. The local papers these days are just one long obituary page, covering the demise of both local residents and local development projects. Sad news for the Very Little City either way.

Despite what the unread screed of lies says, you can see below what the lying shit-shack shut-in is running from. He can't come to terms with his own inferior and pathetic existence. Who gets bent out of shape over a mundane trip to FL and a couple of pies from a strip-mall pizzeria? The more days I stay the more he becomes unhinged. It's win-win for me. By the way, a household is very different from a COVID bubble, travel alone is the enemy of the people these days, and of course my parents are still long dead and buried in New Jersey, per their wishes. PVC and paper plates to one and all in the New Year, though!

By now, you should have been able to overcome your long years of delusional and deeply twisted emotional need to erase a very bad Chicken Wars beating handed to you by a guy living and working in McLean. COVID bubbles are meanwhile poorly constructed if they are based on mere blood relationships. Common habits, interests, and concerns are a more sensible glue, but clearly no one who would even consider driving off to FLA in the middle of this pandemic should be allowed into one.

Even more poorly constructed by including individuals who work in admitted high-risk environments and by bringing them into your home especially when you're an elderly old fuck like you.

Your crazed stalking has only further deepened your despair, dementia and desperation.

You were too stupid to understand that weather stations keep weather date and it is easily accessible. That data will only further expose you as a lying fraud. You're fucked.

How can you be so stupid that you find yourself in such a unwinnable position over and over again?

Those who live in the same household and interact on a daily basis are a much more sensible solution. Inviting people over who interact with the general public and employees who interact with the general public is practically suicide for a decrepit geriatric such as yourself. This, of course, presumes the friends from the Land of Make-believe are actual human beings and not manifestations of your mental disorders and disabilities.

No, you only have a deep and corrosive emotional need to imagine that everyone who kicks the living shit out of you here must be me. Certainly, I do that all the time, but many others over your years of failure here have been qualified to it as well.

You are as usual grossly ignorant and mistaken. Public health professionals have long been out front in condemning your nutcase notions while standing squarely behind ours. Suck on it, moron.

Wrong. There is nothing protective about going out and about in all different directions and then bringing all that back home again to pass around each night.

You seem utterly unaware of the extensive protective health protocols that serious restaurants have in place. You can only tell stories about such places of course, so maybe that accounts for it. When were you last tested, by the way. Do you have any idea of what you might have brought back with you from Florida?

Sure. Show us the public health professionals who suggest that bringing someone from outside of your household who works in a higher-risk environment into your home is a good idea especially for an elderly old fuck like you.

We'll wait... forever... lol

You seem utterly unaware of the reason those protocols exist for such environments to begin with and the concept of increased exposure risk. lol

They exist beacause of the shortcomings of misbehaving goober dumbfucks like you. But they are quite effective and keep both staff and customers protected. Your own pathetic ignorance leads you meanwhile into reckless and dangerous behavior of the first order.

But thanks for admitting that you know nothing at all about your Bob guy except for your own overwhelming emotional need to recast him somehow. Really weak. And of course, FCC was and still is a ‘dining desert’.

Tell the public health professionals in DC and MD.

D.C. is suspending indoor dining starting Wednesday at 10 p.m., officials announced last week. The order, which also shuts down museums and libraries, will remain in effect until Jan. 15.

Mayor Muriel Bowser also announced that the state of emergency and public health emergency for D.C. would be extended through March 31, 2021.

The District is following Prince George's and Montgomery counties, which already suspended indoor dining as coronavirus cases surge.

Thirty-three Montgomery County restaurant owners are seeking a temporary restraining order to block the indoor dining ban that started Dec. 15.

They argue outdoor and carryout dining only brings in about 25% of the revenue they need and that the ban could force 45% of the county’s restaurants to close. That’s more than 800 restaurants.

The restaurants’ attorney says the indoor dining ban causes “irreparable harm – a certain death knell to the restaurant industry.”

Montgomery County lawyers argue the ban was legally enacted by County Executive Marc Elrich and approved by the council. They say that a temporary restraining order “would undermine steps to protect residents of Montgomery County” and would put “countless people at risk of infection and death.”

It is funny to still see you struggle with your inability to differentiate between people posting here. It's up there with the notion that you believe anyone thinks you aren't the Bob that lied about the vital status of his parents.

Looks like a New Year's day departure from the Sunshine State. Would you like me to post day 2 weather conditions? LOL!

Merely checked in periodically early on in your trip re then current conditions at the Cape Canaveral station to see how long it might take for you to lie about the weather. It wasn't much of a wait, as you failed to mention rain between 9:00 and midnight on either of your first two nights there. Your PVC and paper plate places got a nod, but not the raindrops that kept falling on your head.

And as they did in real time, so do they appear for the same time and place in your weather history app. There is however no record there of the Dec 30 'few showers' you reported above. Perhaps you were somehow mistaken about those?

So the very badly wounded Whiffies spent a great deal of time last night in a deranged documentation of the depth and pain of scars left upon them by the brutal Brookmont Bob. Like Redfin's reports on Brockmont, 'Bob' became an instant villain because Brookmont, a reasonably well-known place in Maryland, sounds a little like like Broadmont, a completely trivial cut-through neighborhood in FCC that some douche for some reason has a misguided admiration for. As things turned out, 'Bob' did not admire much at all about the Little City, and particularly not its lack of decent dining options, with touted Liberty BBQ not coming close to meeting his standards, something that he was not shy in pointing out. All in all. 'Bob' had 27 posts to his credit here (some of which were spoofs) in five threads over a period of three months (April to July 2018). His final post may have been the most punishing though, as out of the blue, it pegged the poster known here as Seven Figure City and pretty much took him out behind the woodshed. Amateur Local Historian LOL!!! Recovery from that misadventure has been difficult, to say the least, and is plainly still incomplete.

Well, in the manner of The (safety-conscious) Principals, I'm going to don mask and gloves now and head over into town to grab some needed goodies. More about the abhorent behavior of ignorant social misfits when I return.

You are referring to the .16 inches that fell between 9:53 p.m. and 10:53 p.m. on the 20th. Yeah, being inside and all at that time, the drizzle didn't really have much of an impact on our plans. The fact that you want to use an hour long drizzle during the 10 p.m. hour as evidence that the weather was merely abysmal during our visit here is simply evidence of what a dishonest and deceitful shitstain you are.

> Your PVC

Geez, a beach-shack, located on the water, serving the freshest of fresh seafood and using sensible weather resistant outdoor furniture for outdoor seating. Who'd of thunk it? Again, it's almost like you've never visited the area to understand the needs of restaurants looking to serve patrons outside.

> and paper plate places got
> a nod,

Hmmm. I thought you constantly whined about cherry-picked photos, douche. The takeout boxes should've been your first clue, but you are either too dumb or dishonest to understand that.

p-papa_55_660x440.jpg

> but not the raindrops that kept falling on

LOL! For how long, how much and at what time? You are such a dishonest and deceitful shithead.

> for the same time and place in your weather

> Perhaps you were somehow mistaken about those?

Nope. A few sprinkles in one part of the Space Coast might not amount to anything in another part. It also might not register as measurable precipitation as it is so miniscule. You were told of this days ago. I also mentioned a few sprinkles on Merritt Island. Those were so miniscule and brief that they were not recorded as measurable rainfall either. People who have been to the area would be familiar with such events. You, for some reason, are not. Imagine that.

Instead, you'd wish to portray .16 of an inch during the night as a washout of a near two-week trip to FL. OF course, you love to exhibit your Schadenfreude on the couple of days with well-below normal temps, but that was just a blip in the middle of an otherwise trip to the Space Coast with weather conducive to enjoying time in very nice weather. You have a day or so to hope and pray for more bad weather, but it doesn't look promising for you. How you can even respond without being embarrassed by your dishonesty only serves as a testament to what a phony fraud you are.

You also need to figure out why a mundane trip to FL and takeout from a strip-mall pizzeria sends you into an uncontrollable rage. A rage that causes you to become a psycho weather stalker and then lie about that weather. You are in serious need of a mental health intervention.

Because you are Bob, you received the routine amount of ridicule, scorn and mockery that you've become accustomed to. Lies, blunders and other mistruths were the stock in trade of Bob, much as they are yours. His performance here was as abhorRent as yours.

What made Bob's performance here particularly reprehensible was your willingness to lie about the vital status of your parents. The fact that you did it with such ease was just disgusting. You didn't even stoop to such lows while you were pretending to be bored suburban housewives.

As noted, I was referring to the quarter inch of rain that fell between 9:00 PM and midnight, as reported in real-time by the Cape Canaveral Weather Station. You were somewhere near there, right?

{Pretty impressive though that you somehow had a 470-word post all set to go within 11 minutes of mine. Really bad butthurt is quite the motivator, I guess.)

LOL. The rain was merely proof of your endless dishonesty. The multiple freeze warnings and small craft advisories went more toward showing what a disaster the trip was as any sort of mid-winter tropical escape or interlude.

Fiola Mare is on the water. Some folks and places just have different standards, I guess.

Not really. Life is on the whole good for wealthy retirees, and especially so out here in the Sweet Spot. We’d certainly like to get back to being able to use our half-season tickets and reserved in-stadium parking sometime this season, but we’re pretty much good otherwise.

Well. the poor Whiffies have been set to all manner of frenetic, nonsensical caterwauling here of late, much of that due to dangerous over-exposure to the name Brookmont Bob. No actual sign of the guy since July 2018, but the damaging shadows of his dark and kayak-related legacy are still felt ever so keenly among the dopier dopes of the Little Tiny City. Meanwhile, it was 34 degrees out here in the fabulous Sweet Spot when I first got up, and we've already made it up to 50. Lots more sunny skies so far and just light breezes to deal with. Think I'm going to rest a bit today and just write a few last-minute charity checks.

While he is indeed a basket case, I won't be supporting any aspect of the America-hating President Ding Dong. His promise of 100 million doses of COVID vaccine by the end of the year mysteriously shrank to 20 million and now we've barely gotten past 2 million. But the douche is apparently heading back to town now to hold court with whatever bands of low life racists, supremacists, and other sorts of deplorables may heed his call to rally here on Jan 6th. It's all about PT Barnum with these mindless imbeciles.

In other news, the Cubs are now denying that they have interest in trading away C Willson Contreras. Could be some media guy jumped the gun on that story, or that the Cubs just didn't like what they were seeing from that trial balloon. Either way, the Nats will ultimately need to find some sort of passable partner for Yan Gomes.

Passable anything at all has of course been a tough get for the ever forlorn folks of Falls Church City. The sort of traditional New Year's Watch Night has of course been cancelled, but those wishing to fill out the unexpired term of retiring School Board member Lawrence Webb should apply in writing to the School Board Clerk by Friday, January 15. Also if you have recently been shot with a BB gun anywhere in Falls Church City, the FCCPD would like to speak with you.

That must be all that you have to look forward to since you seem to spend most of your time here and otherwise obsessing over Falls Church, trying to track people you don't know on their vacations, and writing your stupid daily blog that nobody ever reads.

Yeah, you're really living the life. lol

Ah, the familiar strains of deep-seated envy and butthurt. Not to mention ignorance of how to properly size a graphic. We did have four deer calmly browsing in the back yard earlier. They seem to have moved on now though.

Yet, you have zero proof of such an event. Historical measurements actually dispute your bogus assertion. Once again, you've been caught in a lie.

Actual measurements amount to .16 of an inch between 9:53 and 10:53 p.m.

https://www.wunderground.com/history/daily/us/fl/melbourne/KMLB/date/2020-12-20

Of course, only a deceitful, dishonest douchebag would actually contend that such a miniscule amount of precipitation in the late evening would constitue a washout of a trip. Not much more is expected of you though.

I was responding to a post that you made over an hour before I responded. Just more dishonesty or stupidity from you. Both?

As for your 8:56 bullshit, I replied 20 minutes later with less than 100 words.

Do you even want to try to be honest at least once?

Except it wasn't. It only proved you to be a liar. You got fucked. Royally fucked and you've yet to recover.

A couple of chilly days out of a two week trip is hardly a letdown. You, meanwhile, were stuck shivering your fat ass off in the shit-shack.

> Fiola Mare is on the water.

I had to inform you of that fact. But, apparently, you are too stupid to understand the difference between salt water and fresh water and the impact each has on outdoor furniture. You really are one dumb piece of shit.

> Some folks and places
> just have different standards, I guess.

They do. That is why there are different types of restaurants. Some are fine dining (like Fiola Mare), some are strip-mall pizzerias (lie Pazzo and Papa Vito's), some are seaside seafood shacks (like Seafood Atlantic), some are overhyped slop-houses (like GAR), some are just quick and easy solutions when there isn't much else to choose from and you need even the most basic form of sustinence and you can even use food-stamps in some locales (Subway).

Most people even remotely familiar with the hospitality industry are aware of these facts. You clearly aren't.

> LOL! You've been back in your room in FCC since
> Sunday. Jerk.

I thought I didn't go at all? Now, I have been back for five days? Why would I comeback so soon? And miss the great weather that I've enjoyed all week? The vehicle will be packed tonight once it gets picked up from the dealership and we'll likely head out tomorrow.

Any other lies you want to get caught in?

As you should have learned from your many long months of futile searching, there simply are no lies of mine here. And your sorry health-endangering journey totally fizzled out into first wet and then wintry weather and of course dismal downscale dining. That’s just not how things are supposed to work out. Since my parents still live there and you appear to know nothing at all about the place, Brookmont is just across the river. It's a tiny, Delray-like enclave ("tiny" here meaning the same size as Falls Church City) that lies between Bethesda and the Potomac River. It is principally noted for two things -- its spectacular western vistas, and the large number of kayakers found among its year-round population. The training and competition runs in the waters below Brookmont are a magnet for collegiate and Olympic-level competitors. I don't know if Falls Church has a decent place to skateboard.

I myself currently live and work in McLean, so eat your heart out. It has problems of its own of course, but from living here for a while, I certainly understand that no one would ever PRETEND to be from anywhere in Falls Church. Quite the opposite actually.

There are plenty. More than plenty actually. If you ask nicely, I will name one. I have so many to choose from!

How much precipitation has fallen at my location since I arrived? I know you know as you have been psychotically stalking me and the weather here.

It was cold for about 48 hours. Out of two weeks. You came up short and I've been laughing at you since.

Delicious pies from a strip-mall pizzeria and the freshest of fresh seafood from a waterside beach shack/seafood retailer. I don't expect someone like you to appreciate either. You think Subway is fresh and try to pretend your trip to a strip-mall pizzeria is really a grand Italian feast. There's no reason to be ashamed of a visit to a strip-mall pizzeria and no reason to try to turn it into something it isn't, unless you have some sort of severe inferiority complex. Sometimes a meal from a strip-mall pizzeria is what you crave. You seem embarrassed by it though.

> That’s just not

Aside from a couple of chilly days, things have worked out wonderfully. It'll be a shame to see it come to an end. But, assuming our schedules can accommodate, we can come back whenever we please. Of course, it's just a mundane trip to FL, but some of us can do it whenever we want without putting our house into hock.

Well, the problem there would be that we don’t know any COVID nurses. We do of course know some high-end restaurant professionals, but they are both working tonight. That said, New Year’s Eve out is a little like Restaurant Week or North Florida in late December — best just not to go there at all. Did pick up some extra cheesy Pesto Tortellini when I was out earlier, so we’ll just reheat that at some point and enjoy with some Tuscan bread and a glass or two of Santa Margherita. Yum!

As none of you are likely ever to know, a $200K, 10/15 equity line is a high end financial management tool. Aside from small amounts of cash that we disinfect, put in plastic bags, and use as tips, pretty much all of our expenditures go through the equity line. Cool!

Just like millions of others with a little equity in their home have. You don't have the assets to have a credit line otherwise.

Nobody believes you, Gerund Boy. If you had even 10% of the ed. you claim to have, people would be able to actually have an intelligent discussion with you. That's impossible, b\c when anybody disagrees w/you, you start w/the name calling just like a 5th grader. Somebody who's supposably educated would use logic & facts & document & back up what they say. You don't do any of that. All you do is call people names. That's what a 5th grader does, not somebody who's supposably educated.

If you had any of this ed., you wouldn't be the nasty old wife beating asshole you are.

We're used to you not knowing what the fuck you're talking about by now. And we know that you're not wealthy.

It's simple - You're cash poor. Lots of older folks are.

Your only substantial asset is your home. You're using the equity to finance things that you can't really afford.

Don't feel bad about yourself. Lots do the same.

Most all CFAs would advise against using your equity line for recreation and luxuries that you can't afford otherwise but you're old and going to die soon anyway so might as well spend it.

LOL! We have multiple seven-figure assets, and we're dimply awash in cash. We saw five Spring Training games and then forty-two regular season games washed out this year. Each of the latter resulted in about $200 not being spent that would have been otherwise. And thanks as well to COVID, our usual patterns of dining out have been pared back significantly. We commonly drop $500 on a meal for four without giving it a second thought. Consider as well the simple fact that I haven't had to buy gas in a dog's age, and I still have half a tank in the car. We have of course significantly upped our level of contributions to food banks and other such charities this year, as well as our contributions to the campaigns of our favored progressive politicians, and still, the bank balances continue to climb. And as of the new year, COLA's will kick in on multiple income streams. These are the sorts of problems that we have to deal with out here in the Sweet Spot. You dopes will of course never know them.

You might want to look up the difference between a CFA and a CFP, since you just used the wrong one. We do of course have a CFP at our wealth management firm. He's a little like the guy in the TD Ameritrade commercials, but he's competent and affable, so we've been with him for quite a while. He's gotten some promotions over the years and become a bit of a big-wig at the firm, but we still sit and talk twice a year or whenever any questions arise. We met not long ago because while we did want to pass on this year's RMD, we needed to have federal and state taxes withheld as if we had taken it. Again, stuff that you'll never need to have any concern over.

> ...but you're old and going to die soon anyway so might as well spend it.

Well, in part because we can afford very good health insurance, I see doctors in multiple specialties on a regular basis. In other scenarios, this might be seen as 'establishing a perimeter.' In any case, I am told by these highly trained and well regarded professionals that I have little to be concerned over at this point. Nothing is guaranteed to any of us of course, including all the many 20- and 30-somethings who will come to their ends long before I do. Let's be careful out there.

Well, I should report I guess that the extra cheesy pesto tortellini last night was really good. I'd not had that dish before, but it would seem a safe bet that we'll have it again soon. Two thumbs up. Meanwhile, the worn out Whiffies continue to squeak away to no discernible end in their precious FCC hamster wheel of uninformed foolishness, just as they've been doing since their return from the tundra last Sunday. Meanwhile, we had some rather Florida-like conditions out here in the Sweet Spot this morning -- temps in just the mid 30's and every chance of near-term rain. Or 'drizzle', as some might call it. No real winds out there though, so it's not really the same thing. No nearby PVC or paper-plate eateries to patronize either. It does look like we're in for a little nastiness to start the new year though. Could get up to half an inch of wetness today before it all turns into a sunny and mid 50's day tomorrow. We can make it!

Not making it at all of course is the now ever so passé President Ding Dong. As is his wont of course, there's good chance that the schmuck will incite DC crowds to violence while trying to pull off one or more cruel and pernicious stunts before being relegated to one of the lesser neighborhoods of the scrap heap of history. Maybe he'll bomb Iran, just to one-up John McCain. He's just the type of turd to do a thing like that -- start a war and then insist that we need to stay the course? I think I've seen that stunt pulled before.

In other news, there isn't much to report, and while you never know, the likelihood is that we'll be well into next week before the pot begins to boil again. Certainly, the Nats have things they want to do, but they may have even more things that they don't want to do at this point. There just isn't much in the way of certainty going on out there.

There is of course great certainty over the fact that Falls Church City is and will remain a dump in 2021. They did finally get around to removing the names of Mason and Jefferson from two FCCPS schools this past year, and that was certainly an overdue step forward. But the rest of the City's often bulldozed landscape looks hardly promising, and there is little doubt that people with any actual money will continue to look elsewhere when seeking a place to call home.
