It's obvious to even the most moronic of morons, Gerund Boy........OH.wait, you ARE the most moronic of morons, let me start all over again. It's obvious to everybody except for you, the most moronic of morons, Gerund Boy, that what you posted ain't no photo, it's a painting.

Once more, Gerund Boy exposed as a liar, fake & fraud.

Looks like Gerund Boy's butthurt again from the spanking he just got. CONGRATULATIONS, Gerund Boy! You just made an ass of yourself, AGAIN!

Side-by-side. Note that each image is labeled 'Photo: http://avdlm.org'. Even more importantly, note that someone was physically present at this very site less than 48 hours ago with a specific mission of reviewing it from Wash Ave. That review showed not concrete causeways or granite galleries, but grassy areas with in this case trees that were not all that small. Those are what is visible as one drives by, and it is a view that serves well in setting up the succession of grassy areas with trees of one size or another that follows along over the entire course of Wash Ave.

Well, it's another fine morning out here is the ever so lovely but to many quite unaffordable Sweet Spot. It was 70 degrees outside when I first got up, but things will be headed into the upper 80's later on. We've got some acceptable breezes out there, but the trip out the retrieve the morning paper revealed both an adult deer nuzzling seed out of the back patio bird feeders, but also borderline humidity that sits presently at 84%. We'll need to be on the lookout for potential shower and thunderstorm activity over the latter half of the afternoon and early evening, but the overall chance of precip is just 30%.

Meanwhile, President Ding Dong may not have slipped on any of that dangerous grass planted in the White House lawn, but he hardly looked healthy on his disheveled and dejected 'Walk of Shame' return from a night of total torment down in Tulsa. Undressed in part by K-Pop and TikTok teens, his tone-deaf 2020 campaign was already in the ditch before it was an hour old, as TV audiences were treated to shots of empty 'overflow' stands being dismantled. It all went downhill from there. I wonder what if anything No-Mask Kayleigh will try to say about all of this.

In other news, we have learned that more than forty players and staff at more than ten Spring Training sites have been hit by COVIS-19 in just the past week. Rather remarkable given the overwhelming numbers of such people who are still sitting at home. Players called off their scheduled Sunday vote on the latest MLB proposal, while MLB itself indicated a sudden willingness to change all sorts of things in light of events. Hard to see though how any of this can be seen as progress rather than setback.

Setbacks of course are pretty much par for the course for those left behind without amenities over in the backward, overcrowded burbs of Falls Church City. Time seems sadly to have stood still of late over in those parts. Even the local newspaper there is left without anything to say.

Nobody cares what they're labeled, Gerund Boy. your pic is obviously a painting. Maybe it's a photo of a painting or a photo of an artist's conception. What's obvious is yours isn't a photo of an actual place while his is. It's been obvious to everybody you're a fake, a fraud and a liar. Nobody believes you, Gerund Boy.

Note that you are labeled a total fucking moron. How about YOU tell us what it is and not what someone else labeled it? Don't be an equivocating little bitch. Grow a nutsack and indicate whether it is an artist's rendition or a photograph of what actually exists/existed. If you find those choices too limiting, feel free to describe what you posted 8:03 last night in your own words. Refusal to do so only further confirms you are a lying sack of shit.

It you were there 48 hours ago, there is no way in hell you would've thought the watercolor you posted was anywhere near representative of what it actually looks like there.

So what an awful afternoon it was for the wavering Whiffies. First, their typically phony photo gets called out and slapped down, then they can only cave into caverns of play-group level crapola over an inability to use Google street views appropriately. And all along, the torment of Saturday's drive-by eye-witness testimony continues to clang 'grassy areas with small to medium sized trees' from one end of Wash Ave to the other. That's what actual people who actually go there actually see. The wife and I will most likely do that again in five to six weeks or so, and there is little doubt that we will see exactly that same thing that we saw Saturday all over again. It is what it is, after all.

Meanwhile, it was quite a wonderful afternoon for us out here in the magnificent Sweet Spot, as we were able once again to enjoy the peaceful pampering of another 75-minute pedicure and foot massage. It's always so nice to have soft, comfy feet again! And after that, we were able to meet up for lunch with The Principals, this time in our very own dining room. Multiple Gyro platters (plus a ham and cheese omelet) had been brought in, along with two bottles of yummy Santa Margherita pinot grigio, and so a couple of hours were spent in finishing off all that, yakking away about all the latest in our lives, and being entertained royally by dozens of birds. squirrels, and chipmunks continuously parading about and flitting between the feeders just beyond the windows that comprise most of the dining room wall. It's almost like eating outside, but there's A/C and a 0% chance of rain in the dining room. Quite a nice time was had by all!

Well, after such an afternoon, it was early to bed and late to rise out here in the diverse and always glorious Sweet Spot, and it was already 72 degrees out there when I finally did manage to get up. We have mostly cloudy skies out there just now, and the humidity is up to a pesky 77%, but with light to medium breezes, the fact that some area grounds crews either are or recently were at work out there has meant that the smell of freshly mown grass has permeated the place. Kind of calls out to the Farmer JP in me, but I think I already have all the memories of that era that I will actually need. So we should get up into the high end of the 80's later on, and these clouds might come together and amount to something by sundown, but it should just be an early summerish day that we have in store today. Showers possible. Who'd have thunk it!

In the meantime, so many 'open-early' states are now being ravaged to record levels by the coronavirus, which has not chosen to just disappear (hand wave) due to the arrival of warmer weather. Charlotte is shot now, and Jacksonville could well be next. Free COVID! Step right up! Who wants some nice free COVID? Well, most of the million-plus people who supposedly wanted Tulsa tickets either didn't really or had some other last minute plans or reasons to leave the BOK Arena two-thirds empty. But Kayleigh says the Prez was only 'energized' by the sorry showings. "I will never lie to you" (Kayleigh, May 1, 2020.) "LOL!" (JP, June 23, 2020).

In other news, a vote by players is once again being anricipated today after upgrades to health protocols were added to other concessions in the plan that MLB finally chose to impose last night for the 2020 season. Things are so rent asunder at this point that no one really knows how things will turn out. Suffice it to say though that there will not be peace in our time.

There won't of course be much of anything positive to report over in Falls Church City either. The whole place just seems to be stuck in some holding pattern at the moment, with no new thoughts, words, or deeds being forthcoming anywhere. The July 4 FCC fireworks have been cancelled though, and some Metro shuttle bus service will be re-activated at the end of the month. As UVA is planning to pull out of its WFC location, the Metro station name is likely to revert to WFC-VT with the Tysons Corner station name being shortened to just Tysons as well. So exciting!

Lick your badly bleedimg wounds while considering this 'artist's rendering'. boob. In addition to imaginary trees, the artist has for some reason rendered as well an imaginary domed white building across the way. What a loose-cannon kook that artist guy must be!

Meanwhile, all that can be seen in driving past the Memorial on southbound Wash Ave these days is grassy areas with small to medium-sized trees. I know you've never actually been there, but as one who was there just this past Saturday, you can take my word for it. Dope.

Your deflection is even more pathetic than usual. Maybe the artist has a bit too much of Bob Ross in him.

In any event, the best evidence presented here is my eyewitness testimony further substantiated by photographs and Google street view.

In case they don't understand these sorts of things out in the shit spot, granite walkways are not fertile ground to grow grass or trees. Had you actually seen the memorial, you'd be keenly aware of the amount of granite covering the ground there.

New lies on top of old lies. Those pictures are from years ago. Landscaping at the AVDL Memorial has grown up to take its place among all the other grassy areas with small to medium-sized trees that do so much to define the borders of Washington Avenue. You should have someone drive you down there sometime so you can have a look for yourself.

Well, we're off to yet another spectacular start out here in the grand, glorious, and harmonious Sweet Spot. Men, women, and children of all ages, races, and creeds are bound to be enjoying 72 degree temperatures along with beautiful sunshine under bright blue skies. Probably even their pets think highly of it, I would guess, though dog walking is actually not so prevalent here as it was in the neighborhood of the old SEDC townhome. Dog-walkers and stroller-joggers were kind of the thing down there, but not use of the acronym 'MPD'. In any case, we've got some nice breezes, little chance of rain, and the humidity back to just 58%, so it should be quite a nice day outside today.

Not nice at all of course is anything having to do with the gas-bag President Ding Dong. That includes his unbelievably smarmy church gathering in Phoenix last night, and of course the prior restraint action filed in hopes of keeping his own niece from publishing a book about her Uncle Donald. They're indeed altogether ooky, this Trump family. We need to be rid of these awful people as soon as we possible can.

In other news, left with little choice after MLB's unilateral actions on Monday, the players have now said that they will as a group accept a July 1 reporting date for Spring Training 2.0. With COVID sweeping along like a prairie fire, we'll have to see how many individual players ultimately decide to opt out. If things can be kept on track somehow, a 60-game season-of-sorts would start on July 23 or 24. It would end in late September so as to satisfy post-season advertisers, the only group that MLB actually cares about at this point.

Not many care about the lying dopes and dunces of Falls Church City anymore either. These transparent ass-clowns can simply be written off as the Teeny Tiny City seeks to join with the more notable areas of NoVa in heading into Phase-3 next Wednesday, July 1. It will theoretically be back to normal for area restaurants on that date, but it is still an open question as to how many will actually be able to handle it. You can help out by not being a Karen. Try to chill, and don't expect to find all of the 'normal' that you remember in all cases right from the start.

It's hard for grass and trees to grow on granite pavers. Had you ever been there, you'd notice that there are large sections of the memorial where those granite pavers come right up to the curb along Washington Avenue. While there are a few small trees around the memorial, they hardly obscure the views of the large granite and glass walls in the memorial.

Might be time for you to take another fake trip.

You weren't there. If you had driven by, you'd have seen the prominent granite and glass walls. Your precious ginko and cypress trees serve to shield any views of the interstate and the exit - that's right, exit 6 off of 395 - from visitors to the memorial. Passers by on Washington Avenue have near unfettered views of every feature of the memorial, including the glass panels, granite walls, fountain, and granite walkways.

Everyone who's been there knows that. For those who haven't, such as yourself, click here:

No, those are not visible from the street, thanks to a curtain of grass and small to now medium-sized trees that surrounds so much of the site.

That much is correct. But the highway lies at the far southern end of the memorial grounds and the trees extend all the way there from the far northern end. You might have known that had you ever been there.

> Passers by on Washington Avenue have near unfettered views

None of those is visible while driving along Washington Avenue, becasue...

"A memorial grove of 69 ginkgo and 23 cypress trees form the backdrop to the memorial and signify hope and growth. The ginkgo trees will turn a beautiful shade of gold around Veteran's Day each year and will eventually grow to form an enveloping canopy around the Memorial and its visitors. The urban grove makes up over two-thirds of the 2.4-acre triangular site. Other landscaping features include clipped evergreen hedges that parallel the laminated glass panels, and fragrant shrubs."

An enveloping canopy, they say. And 'they' in this case was the National Park Service writing at about the time the memorial was dedicated (October 2014).

Your picture is from long ago.

Wwll, here's a photo (artist's renderings, I believe you call them) from NPS taken at the interior of the memorial. It at least suggests the extent to which the 'enveloping canopy' had grown up at the time. More growth had of course occurred by the time I was there last Saturday.

Taken less than a year ago.

Of course, anyone who's been there doesn't need this to know that there are unfettered views of every feature of the memorial, including the glass panels, granite walls, fountain, and granite walkways while driving or walking along Washington Avenue.

It’s you who’s never been there, dope. No clue at all as to the ‘enveloping canopy.’ Just as you had no clue at all as to CMYK structures or the obvious but unusual thing at Brine. There is just so much shit out there waiting for you to step in it.

I have been passing by the memorial monthly as we drive the length of Wash Ave on the way into SWDC. The ever more mature Memorial Grove is the only significant element actually visible from the road. As a ‘backdrop’ to the interior elements, it is essentially a curtain preventing views of those from the road. Ask for permission to hire a cab and go down there to see for yourself. You just make a fool of yourself here by stumbling around in the dark like this.

Well, these poor whacked- and worn-out Whiffies certainly have fallen on some tough times, but lo and behold, it's just another Grade-A gorgeous morning for those of us able to enjoy the good life out here in the fabulous Sweet Spot. It was a delightful 66 degrees when I awoke, and we were already well into the enjoyment of bright, sunny skies with humidity hanging out in the low 70's. There being next to none made a touch of breeze seem like it would have been a good idea, but some of that is likely to kick up at some point along the way today. Otherwise, what we've got here is the sort of terrific combination of conditions that makes for a most pleasant walk down and back to retrieve the morning paper. There is still an historically uncommon lack of visits from some of our our wildlife friends though. Foxes and raccoons have been regular guests, but the deer have been coming in one's but not two's Not sure what's up with that.

There are few who can understand either what's up with President Ding Dong. With a record number of new COVID cases reported in the USA yesterday (more than 37,000), The Really Big Dope wants to double the number of people having recently lost their health insurance coverage by again urging the USSC to invalidate Obamacare. He has blustered on and on in the past about some 'beautiful' replacement system, but nobody (including Trump) has even the first idea of what that system would actually look like. The facts are that the Be-Best Trumpfish hates Obamacare simply because he hates Obama. The Prez after all is pretty much just a tantrum-throwing envious dull-brain.

In other news, there is little to be done by any of us at this point against MLB's unilateral imposition of its own unfinished plans for a 60-game 2020 baseball season. The players are not actually convinced, the fans are not actually convinced, state and local governments are not actually convinced, but MLB is convinced enough to push the rest of us ahead anyway, straight into their suspect vision of a second Spring Training to begin on July 3 and a 60-game regular season to begin on July 23 or 24 with all sorts of weird new rules attached. The likelihood of this going well is small indeed, but the lure of post-season ad revenues come October drives the minions of Bozo Bobby forward at a perhaps foolishly frenetic pace. We can hope for the best but with little expectation that any of that will actually come to pass.

Similarly suspect of course is anything having to do with Falls Church City, the latest bit being The Toy Nest, newly opened on N Washington St as a sort of Blockbuster store for toys and games. You can come in and play or you can take stuff home and play, $30 a month for a small-scale membership, $45 a month for the full-sized version. Who's ready to sign up?

LOL! The photo BURNS, doesn't it?!?!

The view is identical to what anyone driving down Washington Avenue today would see.

You keep saying I've never been there. Perhaps you can explain why all evidence supports my claims about the views and you've produced exactly nothing?

And no, your artists renderings don't count for shit. But, even if those renderings were accurate, they prove that views of the granite and glass walls would be available to drivers on Washington Avenue. There is a clear gap in the trees that would provide direct views of the walls. You lose no matter what.

It is as clear as a bell that they have never been anywhere near the site of the AVDL Memorial as that exists today. Well, to the delight of all who are able to live out this way, the day is off to another terrific start here in the simply sensational Sweet Spot. Sunny skies and 72 degrees when I got up just a while ago, with pleasant breezes and humidity just in the high 60's. We might see some clouds moving in later on and a t-storm or two could pop up on toward evening, but otherwise all this is a recipe for yet another wonderful day for the fortunate folk, and we look forward to every minute of it. 'Tis the season meanwhile when micro-climates start to show themselves more clearly, and it is indeed six degrees cooler this morning over at HEF than at DCA. This is a factor that will work to our advantage later as temps at DCA today are forecast to move into the low 90's.

That's of course higher than the actual IQ of President Ding Dong, who wasn't allowed to attend his own COVID task force meeting yesterday. The once-popular series had been cancelled you'll recall after Ding Dong's 'inject people with Lysol' comment not all that long ago. So the reboot had to get along under the thumb and transparently phony aegis of The Veep and his theory that his team has 'flattened the curve'. In reality, the record for new COVID cases is being broken day after day. But why let the facts ruin a good story. We seriously need to rid ourselves of these people.

In other news, sources say that MLB would continue to press on with its notional 2020 season even if one team were to withdraw for whatever reason. There has been some talk of name players opting out, but whole teams saying no-thanks would seem to be a new thing. It's clear either way of course that MLB is simply flying blind here.

They could perhaps pick up a tip or two from the struggling leadership of Falls Church City which is similarly trying to figure out how to run the coming school year. They've got everybody and his uncle pitching in with ideas, but with just two months before classes are slated to start, there is still no real plan for how things will proceed.

As you would not know because you have never actually been there, the interior elements of the AVDL Memorial are not currently visible from the street due to the intended effects of the Memorial Grove, a shroud of grasses, trees, and even some ambitious weeds that block the views of those driving along Washington Avenue. Those do however blend in well with the variety of other grassy areas with small trees that continues along the rest of both sides of that thoroughfare as it proceeds down toward South Capitol Street. Again, your failure ever to have been present at the site keeps you from perceiving anything resembling the reality of a place that I attentively drove past just one week ago. You thus remain a disgraced loser mired in the shame of Square-1, still utterly unable (now in 17 days) to back up your foolish claims by naming even a single lie that I have told here.

Strange then that you managed to get even the basic facts of the area correct. Much like exit 6, the large asphalt parking lots along Washington Avenue and the wall at the west end of Spirit of Justice Park, you are completely oblivious to what the views of the area actually are.

Fact and reason are toxic in your world, but the foundational basis of mine. And yet, in this photo taken from the street, there they are. Visible for all to see. The only question that remains is why do you continue to lie about it? Is it because of the horrific embarrassment you were forced to endure after you foolishly posted a couple of watercolors as evidence of your bogus claim? Well, another restive night for the foundering Whiffies as they continue their fitful attempts to run off and hide from what's only obvious to normal people. Speaking of which, it's looking like another fine morning is shaping up out our way here in the resplendent Sweet Spot. It was 72 degrees outside when I got up just a little while ago, with the sun finding ways to shine through some partly cloudy skies. We might end in seeing some more showers and t-storms later in the day though. We got about three quarters of an inch of rain last night, but the wife and I were of course engrossed in watching the Nats' thrilling 5-4 victory over the Astros in WS Game-1, so just like when we are in our Club Level seats at Nats Park, the rain did not really matter very much. Game-2 tonight. I always love a laugher.

And speaking of laughers, the tormented term of President Ding Dong continues to veer off course as it fades into just one ravel after another. The pandemic, the economy, the empty seats, statues, BLM, and now Niece Mary. It's all just a tour through Ultimate Disasterland for the Donald and he's not really handling it very well. His own advisors are now concerned that he and what's left of the GOP could be headed for absolutely epic losses in November. Bring it on, I say. Couldn't happen to a more deserving bunch!

In other news, the boobs at MLB may be getting out ahead of themselves in talking about a Nats-Yankees game as the marquee match-up for their imagined slate of July 23 'Opening Day' games. What could possibly go wrong is a question that really ought to be asked by someone at this point, So should the question of how many training sites will have been shut down by COVID-19 by then.

There is meanwhile so little going on over in faded Falls Church City that they are having to tout a scavenger hunt over in McLean as a cool thing to do. Might be, but we know for sure that FCC types are not going to win, as they can't find CMYK structues right in their own back yard. It's a pretty sorry state if affairs.

If, as you claim, you'd been actually ever been there, you'd know exactly where it was taken.

More evidence you've never actually been near the place.

Liar.

Because you are a complete moron that needs everything handed to you, the photo was taken on Washington Avenue just past 2nd Street, SW heading toward the exit 6 off ramp from 395. To people who are familiar with the area, the views of the O'Neill and Ford House Office Buildings in the background would have provided enough information to surmise where the photo was taken from.

Of course, you being wholly unfamiliar with the area, need everything spoon fed to you.

Come on, asshole. The Ford and O’Neill office buildings lie to the WEST of the memorial while Wash Ave is its boundary to the EAST. Such a crooked, shit-slinging douchebag you are.

Exactly, you fucking moron. You just proved my point for me. If one is on Washington Avenue from the point where the photo was taken looking west, he'd see the memorial with the two aforementioned House Office Buildings in the background. Amazing how that works.

If I look at the picture and see Ford and O'Neill in the background and I see the bike share road paintings, I'd know it was taken from Washington Avenue just past 2nd St, SW.

You, however, were, as usual, completely clueless.

LOL! For a guy that claims to have been to the area, why is it that everything in the photo below is completely foreign? Let's walk through the photo for the morons which in this case is you.

At the very bottom of the photo is Washington Avenue. The bike share lane paintings are right next to the curb.

Moving up we have two small ginko trees, some ornamental grasses, a "no parking" sign, a lamp post, and a spotlight for the flags just out of frame.

Moving up again, there is the fountain to the left side of the photo and numerous granite pavers.

Then we have the granite bench in front of the large granite walls. Glass walls can be seen to the left above the fountain.

Above the Granite walls, we can see O'Neill to the right and Ford to the left.

More useless shit is not the answer for you. Your photo was taken looking the wrong way from the furthest point away from the actual memorial that the photographer could get. Like you, the photo is a total fraud executed in hopes of ducking the simple fact that it is only the Memorial Grove that can be seen while driving south along Wash Ave. Those are just the facts, dope, and there is no escaping them.

You had to ask, "was it taken anywhere near the grassy area with trees and weeds that extends along Washington Avenue?"

If you'd ever actually been ther, you would not need to ask that.

You then stupidly stated, it was taken from the "furthest point away from the actual memorial."

That's pretty hilarious as it clearly shows the large granite wall with the name of the memorial on it. That makes it pretty fucking close, numbskull. The photo was taken from Washington Avenue next to the memorial, dope.

Dumbass liar.

LOL! The question was mocking you, dumbass. Just like ‘What was the obvious but unusual thing about Brine?’ I already know the answer to that as well. And of course what the views out the window are as one drives south along Wash Ave. You fall down at all of that. And so much more.

LOL! Name one. June is going to be over soon, you know. Double-LOL!

So another night of toe-studding pain and anguish for the worthless Whiffies and their forever failing attempts at photo-documentation of anything at all. Lies, deceits, and the worst of Google are all they ever manage to come up with. A simple southbound drive along Washington Avenue would quickly serve to disabuse them of so many misguided notions, but they are not capable of that.

Well, here we go again. It was a simply gorgeous 73 degrees outside when I got up today out here in the incomparable Sweet Spot to greet sunny, bright blue, cloudless skies, gentle breezes, and humidity readings that have fallen into the low 60's. Hard to argue with any of that! Saw only the usual small scale birds and animals as I ventured down and back to retrieve the morning paper, but it was still a beautiful sight with the massive green trees casting ever-shifting patterns of dappled light and shade across the well-maintained lawns and gardens. We should get into the upper 80's later on, but there's almost no chance of any rain, so it should be just wall-to-wall lovely out there all day today and into the night. Enjoyed last night's re-watch of the ten-run dump the Nats put on HOU to wrap up Game-2 of the World Series. Tonight, we'll be able to enjoy Strasburg in Game-6 all over again, and we all know what will come after that -- CLANG!

In the meantime, President Ding Dong is having to watch his promises that the virus would magically go away by now simply go up in smoke as more and more states are being forced by the virus to re-close. Similarly lacking in any credibility at all are his claims not to have been briefed about Russian bounties being placed on US soldiers in Afghanistan. What a joke. But worst of all for him may have been newsof the almost unanimous kneeling during the national anthem by players in the NWSL Challenge Cup games, many players also wearing BLM t-shirts. George Floyd is plainly more important to many than is Donald Trump.

In other news, beat witers are knocking off some rust in going on about 60-man player lists, but the only real news so far has been that Mike Trout now says he won't just skip the so-called season. His wife is still due in August od course, so he'll have some decisions to make then, no matter what he decides to do now. Otherwise, clubs are re-assigning some older and compromised coaches to desk jobs rather than on-field positions. That makes some sense, but it's not likely to turn any tides. The virus is still out there waiting.

Also waiting through this coming Sunday, July 5, is good old Falls Church City as they canvas for citizen volunteers to serve on a new 'Use of Force Review Committee' to look into local sheriff and police policies and performance regarding the use of force. Contact the City Clerk's office for information on how to apply. No fireworks this weekend, so maybe fill the void by volunteering for something instead. Unless of course, you are not allowed out of the home.
