Let us know when you're ready to admit that you fucked up with your Brockmont blunder.

Might as well. It's sorta like when you came out. We all know anyway.

In the real world, actual people don't refer to any neighborhood in the Falls Church area as Brockmont. It's that exact reason why you can't provide a link to a single listing to a home for sale or recently sold in this alleged Brockmont neighborhood. Hell, you aren't even sure if it is in Fairfax County or the City of Falls Church. In the real world, everyone knows the police department in Washington, D.C. is commonly referred to as the MPD and not DCPD. You clearly live in some fantasyland where your lies and stupidity reign supreme. In the real world, everyone knows you're nothing more than a sociopathic fraud. Redfin has been nothing more than a tool to mock your ignorant ass.

And, while you were pretending to be at game 3, I was actually there. Ran into Larry Levy and had a nice time catching up. It was nice to celebrate his birthday. That's what happens in the real world while you get exposed as the lying fraud you are.

As we explained many times, Redfin's auto-generated text is WRONG.

Thus, you are WRONG in posting something obviously WRONG.

Which, if you actually knew WTF you were talking about, you should have known is WRONG and not posted it to begin with.

But you did so we're the ones laughing.

At you. Again.

Context is important, douche. You’re just too slow to have picked up on that. And for the record, DCPD squad cars just say ‘Police’ on the side.

Glad you had a good time. Kind of like hanging with old law school chums, I guess. Of course, most non-Cardinals fans did have a nice night at the park for Game-3. As for us, that was our 45th game of the year so far. Plus the eight Spring Training games down in West Palm.

Gee, another of the many DC squad cars that says "Police' on the side. In actual DC (where I did keep a home for 14 years), people use that word "police". Glop like MPD, MPDC, of MPDDC is simply not often heard. Nor -- even more importantly -- are any of those labels likely to be something that residents of THIS area would have been readily able to understand. DCPD was and still is a clear and unambiguous term. Those are desirable traits for crafty authors, and it is authors after all who sail the ship, not some sort of steerage-class stow-away.

Then again, given how desperate you are to have any point at all to make around here, your laughable attempt at covfefe-creation is not at all surprising. Stupid churl.

Well, it is of course another gorgeous morning out here in the Sweet Spot today, and I'd love to write about that, as well as about our deer encounters yesterday afternoon and evening, but I have an appointment made long ago to keep today, and I will have to go off and tend to that. Fortunately, it will not interfere at all with mid-afternoon needs to be heading back across Mass Ave to Nats Park, where our in-stadium reserved parking spot and comfy Club Level seats for NLCS Game-4 will be waiting for us. We do of course have the very same already waiting for us re NLCS Game-5, but I'd just as soon that those were just unnecessary.

Have as nice a day as you can in your comparatively limited situations.

There are no folks at Redtin or Redfin for that matter who use the term Brockmont to describe any neighborhood in the Falls Church area. In fact, no Redfin agent has ever listed a home for sale or commented on a home for sale in this alleged Brockmont neighborhood. In fact, you may be the only person on this planet to use the term Brockmont in reference to any neighborhood in or around Falls Church. Remember, a computer using a flawed algorithm is not a person.

There is no context where DCPD is preferable over the commonly understood and known abbreviation of MPD. DCPD is just further evidence of your complete lack of knowledge of the area. A person who has spent just five minutes in this area knows the local police force in DC is commonly referred to as the MPD.

You mean MPD cars and let the record reflect that you are a fucking liar because they say more than JUST Police. Care to grow a set of nuts and admit you were wrong for once? Photographic evidence proves you fucked up. Man enough to admit it? I bet you aren't.

Like your example, DCPD vehicles say just "Police" on the side. References to MPD etc. are often found on the tail, above or below the license plate. You had to goo-goo-google your way around to find a model having it as a small-print addition on the side.

And of course, DCPD is still the clearer designation and one more easily understood by all the local non-resident dopes that you so ably personify.

Once again, you show what a DOLT you really are. MPD is the clearer designation b\c everybody, except for DOLTS like you, who poop their Depends daily, knows that's what it is.

You really don't know shit about ANYTHING, do you?

LOL! For over twenty years, most of the MPD fleet has had more than JUST "Police" on the side.

Image result for MPD cruiser

DCPD is only used by know-nothing assholes who aren't man enough to admit their mistakes.

This dope live in fantasyland aka the fictitious neighborhood of Brockmont which is patrolled by the fictitious law enforcement agency of DCPD.

Nowhere does it say "DCPD" on the car.

It does say this:

You're too dumb to gaslight people, JP Morganfraud. Most presumed your naïve and buffoonish use of the term just in this situation was just you being your usual dumb self. Yet again, you can't pinpoint or explain where you went awry. There is no definition of just that supports your moronic claim. Just as there is no link that you can provide to a home for sale or recently sold in the alleged Brockmont neighborhood.

Given that MPD cars are a routine sight around Nats Park and clearly marked with their MPDC logos, it is safe to assume you find yourself in that area very rarely, if ever. People who attend games there regularly would NEVER make the DCPD blunder. Of course, they wouldn't be posting to this site more than a half dozen times during the first ever NLCS game held at the park either.

Just can't let a typo pass you by, can you asshole? And Redfin is of course a national real estate organization employing thousands of actual real live people who collectively reported back in June that...

"In the past month, 178 homes have been sold in Falls Church. In addition to houses in Falls Church, there were also 77 condos, 47 townhouses, and 0 multi-family units for sale in Falls Church last month. Popular neighborhoods include East Falls Church, Great Forest, Oakwood, and Brockmont. This map is refreshed with the newest listings in Falls Church every 15 minutes."

Hmmm. I kept a home in SEDC for 14 years. I was there yesterday and will be again in about 90 minutes. Your experience in the actual nearby city is simply piss-poor in comparison to mine.

Well, off to the game now. Stew in your raging envy and butthurt while I'm gone.

Not a single living person reported the above. In fact, you might be the only living person to believe there is a neighborhood in Falls Church called Brockmont. Of course, your belief must be wavering as you can't even decide where this alleged neighborhood is located. Perhaps that is why you are too inept to provide a link to a home for sale or recently sold in the alleged Brockmont neighborhood.

Oh, he's going somewhere, alright. He's going out to the street to the Fairfax Connector bus stop so he can get to the TV Dept at Walmart in time.

What I gotta ask, though, is what kind of moron who's real nasty & bitter & poops his Depends daily thinks anybody envies him. Even if he didn't poop his Depends, I STILL wouldn't want to be him.

There is no context where "DCPD squad cars just say ‘Police’ on the side."

'Just' as there's no neighborhood called "Brockmont."

Dance, dance, dance little dumbfuck. Doing up scorecard lineups while in our reserved in-stadium parking spot. Already seen three of our park pals and more will be pulling in soon. Johnny and Ray parked next to us in the not so distant past, but those days are of course gone now.

Your wife pulled on how many dicks to get you those tickets? Her stomach is probably full of cum, her asshole is so reamed out she is wearing one of your diapers, and her knees have the worse carpet burn she has ever had. You get what you pay for and boy did your wife pay for those tickets. Most men would have too much respect for their wives to put them through what she went through just so you can watch a kids game. Standing Room starts at seven-hundred fifty bananas on Stub Hub for Games Three and Four. Nosebleeds are generally starting at one thousand, but, some Rocket Scientist wants thirty five hundred for some nosebleeds for Game Four.

We have ours. I looked on Stub Hub just to see what they were asking.

Yes, we were there to-night. It got to be quite the nail-biter. I can remember when a three run lead was safe, but, it ain't been like that in some time. If Washington plans on beating either the Yankees or Astros, they are going to have to do better with the bats than they did after the first.

You could tell that Corbin was starting to come unglued in the third. Martinez left him in there a bit too long, perhaps, but, considering what is available in his bullpen, he had to do that. Rainey is continuing his good performance in the post-season. Martinez did pull Doolittle at the right time, but Hudson did have you on the edge of your seatuntil he finally got that last out in the eighth. Hudson did do well in the ninth. When you are bucking for the World Series, you will take any out that you can get any way that it comes.

If all Washington games are played, it will be my third, fourth and fifth World Series. I was at Game Two in Baltimore in 1983 and Game Four in St. Louis in 2004. It was funny, I could not get any tickets for the Fenway Games, but I managed to get two in St. Louis for Game Four thanks to knowing somebody, who knew somebody, who knew somebody, who knew somebody......................

It has been quite the run, this year, especially since the last week of the regular season. I wish the Nationals the best.

The Game-5 seats for The Principals were $304 a pop through the Nats. They are a few rows up in Section 230. We ourselves will of course be in our usual in-stadium parking spot and our usual Club Level seats. Glad to have some time off to rest up before using them again though.

That's a common but misguided riff based on some truly awful early season bullpen work that too regularly featured appearances by Kyle Barraclough and Trevor Rosenthal. Those two were indeed worthwhile nigh-ceiling flyers, but they just didn't work out. Overall bullpen numbers have continued to look bad ever since they left simply because they once were here. Matt Grace and Tony Sipp might be tossed into that same basket of deplorables as well. But the guys who worked last night plus Guerra, Rodney, and Suero have actually been competent and mostly reliable bullpen pieces for us. Sometimes, the first and second derivatives tell more of the story than the function itself, if you catch my drift. (I know that many here will not.)

> You could tell that Corbin was starting to come
> unglued in the third.

Well, he gave up his first two base-runners (a single and a walk) in the third, but fanned Bader on four pitches and Arozarena on three before getting dangerous Jose Martinez on a weak little dribbler in front of the plate that Gomes was able to gobble up.

> Martinez left him in there a bit too long, perhaps...

In the fifth, perhaps. His swing-and-miss command was suddenly gone, but he did rally smartly after giving up the 3rd and 4th runs. Fanned Goldschmidt on a 2-2 pitch and then Ozuna, 1-2-3. Scary moment, but he dug deep and got us past it.

> Rainey is continuing his good performance in the
> post-season.

Rainey has been developing along the path that Barracloush and Rosenthal were supposed to follow. Great stuff, but needed to learn how to make that work for him. He's still a bit of a work in progress, but at-bats against him are not much fun. He should be bale to make the trade of Tanner Roark look very good as time goes by.

> Martinez did pull Doolittle at the right time..

Doolittle's job last night was to go as long and get as many outs as he could in clearing the decks for Hudson. He exceeded expectations by getting five outs on just 16 pitches. The shaep 2-2 single by Ozuna was the signal to move on to Phase-2 of what had been the plan all along.

> ...but Hudson did have you on the edge of> your seat
> until he finally got that last out in the eighth.

Hudson was not sharp. He had to battle in the eighth. But like Corbin, he finally got it done. Taking a 3-run lead to the ninth was dimply huge. He was much better there at the end, delivering a nearly stress-free 1-2-3 ninth. I liked Robles hauling in that final lazy fly-ball out, just as he had done in the Wild Card game.

> If all Washington games are played, it will be my
> third, fourth and fifth World Series.

Me too. Game-1 in 1963 and Game-1 in 1979.

> It has been quite the run, this year, especially
> since the last week of the regular season.

They looked great in Spring Training, then fell just flat on their faces, Lost a lot of games the old-dsahioned way early on -- simply by playing really bad baseball. The team had never had a 16-2 stretch in its history before, but that's what they've done since poor Bryce and the Phillies came to town for a final time. No way to explain it. Shouldn't have happened perhaps, but somehow it did.

It's looking like the Nats will be playing the Astros. It's fitting that we'll be playing the franchise that left DC for Texas in 1971.

The relatively small price differential between one hundreds and two hundreds was a small surprise. The prices on the 100s through the Nationals pre-sale were from mid to high three hundreds. I did notice that the two and three hundreds were were in the low three hundreds. SRO was just under three hundred. DAMN! If I am going to pay close to three hundred bananas to get into a ball park, they had better give me something on which to rest my old ass.

I was referring more to baseball in general when I stated that a three run lead is not safe, these days.

that too

Rosenthal is in the Yankees system, the last that I read. It is too bad that they do not have him on their ALCS roster. They might lose much faster if they did. It is too bad for Grace. I have read conflicting reports about him. Some state that he did accept assignment and is listed either at Fresno or Harrisburg, some state that he is out of the organisation.

Those three have had their moments. If the pitching coaches can bring along Suero and Rainey, that would go far to erase the low repute of Washington's bullpen. He did, but, there are times when you watch a pitcher and can see that he is losing it. I was referring more to that. Yes, Corbin got out of it, but he was starting to lose it.

He did, and, for Washington's purposes, it was good that he did, but, he was losing it.

If Washington can bring along him and Suero, keep Doolittle and Hudson (I do not know when their contracts are up), it would make a pretty good bullpen core.

I actually had assumed that the idea was for Doolittle to get at least three and keep going until someone reached base. I do not disagree that Doolittle went further than Martinez had expected. He did his job.

The eighth was a nail biter, but, as did Corbin, hr straightened up, manned up and got 'er done. Keeping the three run lead into the ninth was, as you so correctly state, important.

Watching Robles wave off Mighty Mouse and Soto with this "I got this one" attitude was entertaining. Washington's players this season have been anything but boring.

I was mildly surprised that Martinez did not pull Robles for Taylor in the eighth or ninth. The pulling of Kendrick for Dozier made sense. I half expected to see Taylor in the ninth. I suppose, though, if you want Robles for the World Series, you have to give him his playing time to get him to one hundred per-cent. Taylor has done an admirable job filling in for Robles.

They even looked pretty good against the Yankees in that exhibition game. If they draw the Yankees as their opponent, this year, I hope that they look even better. This is motivated more out of hate for the Yankees than love for the Nationals.

I was there, as well, for the early part of the season and what a difference between that and the last part! GF wanted some more games, so we went to three of the five Philadelphia games (we missed the double header day--GF does not like double headers. I do, but she has not come that far, yet), all three Cleveland games and, of course, the Wild Card. Our plan gave us one each of the Philadelphia and Cleveland games. We always make last day of the regular season, even though none of the half season or twenty game plans that we have bought ever assigned us that game. It is curious that we always get Opening Day but never Closing.

I do wish Washington the best regardless of which opponent drawn. Hopefully, you and I will be exchanging virtual high-fives to close out our brief discussion of this season.

The franchise that left Washington for Texas in 1971 is the Rangers. The Astros were originally the Colts (they had "45s" on their caps---that would NEVER play to-day). The franchise entered the National League in the early 1960s, or so. I forget exactly when they moved to the American League (late 1980s to late 1990s?). Yes, I know, Google Is My Friend, but, I am not looking it up right now.

Well, lo and behold, it's raining out here in the glorious Sweet Spot right now, but that is just one more long-overdue thing for us to be celebrating today. Could get up to half an inch of brand new water out of this system by nightfall, and after an extended dry spell, all of that can be put to good use. While the precip hadn't begun yet at that point, retrieval of the morning paper revealed light breezes, but no sunshine at all. Humidity was and is in the really high 90's of course, while temperatures are in the mid 50's. Doesn't look like we'll hit even 60 degrees at all today. Nice weather for a nap, which might be a good plan after back-to-back late nights of raucous celebration.

Wildlife-wise, we had two adult deer out perusing the shed area in the early afternoon, then we had two encounters on the way home from the ballgame last night, first with an adult standing defiant in the middle of the last actual road that leads back up this way, and then maybe a half-mile later with a youngster proudly posing in our headlights along a country lane. Always glad to see these guys. They are gorgeous creatures at any hour.

In other news of course Patrick Corbin came out with guns blazing against the Cardinals last night, and the offense dropped a first inning seven-spot on STL starter, Dakota Hudson, to send the home crowd into an absolute tizzy. The home side struggled at times to hold on from there, but the trio of Rainey, Doolittle, and Hudson did a terrific job in picking up the final 12 outs, a feat that completed a four-game wipe-out of the Cards and put the Nats into the World Series starting next Tuesday. As is our habit, we had arrived early at the ballpark and stayed late, so we got to soak up a lot of good vibe yesterday. Fifteen difficult years in the making, but all the more enjoyable for all those hard times. Can't personally expect any of this to last very long, but we certainly can and will enjoy it in the moment.

Never enjoying a moment of anything at all of course are the badly beaten and bedraggled bozos of feeble Falls Church City. Knowers of pretty nearly nothing at all, they can only engage in childish tantrums of thread desecration and the babbling of vapid and foolish memes and notions. This of course defines the extents of their pitiful little world, a world where proper English ia little known and not at all understood. Having little to no self-control, they'll be by here again shortly to offer further examples of what deeply lack-luster can be compounded into meaning.

I was actually at the last game at RFK and remember them leaving for Houston vividly. We left our home in Brockmont early that late September day. Dad had purchased tickets and we made our way into the stadium. Fans were upset about the pending move to Houston and flooded the entrance without paying. By the end of the game, fan unrest had grown and was boiling over. Many stormed the field and Washington had to forfeit the game to the Yankees. DCPD was called in, but there wasn't much that could be done at that point. The next year, the team was in Houston.

Well, see, I wasn't here to see that because I was flying my Nieuport 28 in the Viet-Nam war. I shot down ten North Vietnamese Me-262s and was awarded a medal.

Rosenthal is about as far away fron a Yankees post-season roster spot as Lou Gehrig. Though having the advantage of being alive, Rosenthal has a lot of work to do just to reach back to Square-1 in a bid to return to the majors with any oprganization.

He was DFA'd at the end of August, but no one claimed him. He is hence still with the organization, but it would be quite surprising if the Nats were to offer him a new contract when the current one expires. The non-tender date is Dec 2 this year,

Yes, but that's what he is at the moment -- a fill-in player. Might be one of the better 4th OF's in MLB, but that for now is his role.

After the 1964 season, the club moved into the Astrodome, and they were rebranded as the Astros. The club moved to the American League in 2013, mostly in order to create the two balanced 15-team leagues needed to support Bud Selig's vision of everyday interleague play.

Oh, I am not unaware of that. It was more wishful thinking. They could bring him in to pitch an inning and have him blow a good lead and they could lose. Any day that the Yankees lose is not a total loss.

Oh, yes. MLB wanted to expand to Minnesota and admit the Angels. Griffith asked if he could move the Senators to Minnesota and put the expansion franchise in Washington, instead. MLB went along with it

I did remember that is was the mid 1960s that they became the Astros, but I did not remember exactly when. I remember when they moved to the Astrodome, the nawspapers made a big deal of it, even in California. I had guessed that there was some sort of re-balancing involved with the shift to the American League, but I never really paid that much attention to it.

Well, after another day of slogging through intense stupid shit posted by the usual gang of dismal dopes and dullards from Falls Church City, the far more fortunate among us are in the midst of another brilliant morning out here in the ever delightful Sweet Spot, a place where nary a word from dopes and dullards is heard. This of course is in part owing to the simple fact of their not being able to afford even a visit out this way. Hahaha! In any case, there's still a decent breeze blowing out there as the sun comes up, with the temperature sitting at an even 50 degrees, and the humidity just a hair ahead of that at 54%. So it's a brisk, cool feel that we have outside today. Not quite to the point where you'd want to don a jacket before heading down the driveway to retrieve the morning paper, but that time is coming and will be here soon enough.

Spent a hefty portion of yesterday asleep, as there was a deficit in that account after a couple of nights with just a few hours worth of shut-eye. As the result, such wildlife visits as may have occurred Wednesday went quite unnoticed. Feeling a good bit more rested and able to catch these creatures in the act today, so we'll see what happens.

In other news, the NL Champion Washington Nationals have off today, as they do every day through next Tuesday. The Astros and Yankees Game-4 was rained out yesterday, so they still have some work to do before one of them welcomes us in for the start of the World Series. They are both very good ballclubs, and the prefab press is already hard at work preparing the unoriginal meme that the long layoff will leave the Nats unable to keep up with either of them. It's amazing how totally phony these supposedly qualified insider-people can be.

Phony is of course one of the chief attributes also of the waste-of-time weasels and wussies from Falls Church City. Only briefly and poorly educated, those dweebs wouldn't know proper language or creativity if those were to walk up and slap them in the face. All these boobs can do is wallow in the same old mud pits of base and inattentive ignorance that their equally pitiful ancestors once wallowed in. Such a sorry mess they find themselves in. But see for yourself. Examples of their unceasing stupid shit are sure to be along here shortly.

^^^ Well, there's your run of ceaseless stupid shit, pretty much just as expected. These low-life derelicts are nothing but consistent when it comes to being low-life derelicts.

So, hadn't eaten out since Tuesday, so we decided to mosey on in to Artie's in Fairfax earlier. Love those Tex-Mex eggrolls! Might have gone with the prime rib which is always excellent, but I got to thinking that I hadn't had a drunken rib-eye in a good while, so I went with one of those. Comes with a loaded baked potato of course, and a lovely salad of crisp field greens in a tangy vinegar dressing. Despite what some illiterate dopes try to report, it's always great. House-made salted caramel ice cream for dessert was nice as well. The place was really busy for a weeknight, but the service was a good as ever. So nice to have all these terrific GAR places located so nearby. Great food, great service, moderate prices. Hard to beat that!

Well, just as expected, the waves of ignorance, envy, and butthurt certainly did get rolling in earnest yesterday, as -- not actually good at anything -- the daft and deranged were reduced to new lows in stupid-shit digging and delving as they sought to troll themselves into a belief that they are somehow in any way relevant here. Pretty much just a frolicsome exercise in the absurd on their part.

Meanwhile, it is of course another stunner of a beautiul morning out here in the often beyond glorious Sweet Spot, a place that none of these fabled losers can afford to inhabit. The winds of the past couple of days are dying back down into breezes now, and it's a crisp 47 degrees out there this morning, this under clear blue and sun-filled skies with the humidity resting at a gentle 57%. Neither of those measures is apt to get much past the 60 mark today, as the transition away from summer and into winter continues to progress.

Having caught up on sleep enough to take up some backlogged charity-related legal paperwork, I wasn't paying enough outdoor attention to spot any of our wildlife friends roaming by yesterday. Might have been out there, might not have. Didn't see anything in after-dark hours on our way out to and back from dinner at Artie's either. These sorts of drought never seem to last long however, so we'll continue to keep an eye out.

In other news, the Nats are still waiting to learn who their 2019 World Series opponent will be. Those Astros -- the team that succeeded us in being the worst team in baseball not so long ago -- put a big hurt on the Yankees last night, leaving them to face Verlander from a 3-1 hole tonight. It's baseball of course, so they could always turn things around, but pinstriped prospects are not looking particularly good right now.

Never looking anything close to good at all of course are the fops and frauds of failing Falls Church City. Still roiled by Redfin and dogged by DCPD, they continue to run in a hamster-wheel of horrible humiliation. It's doubtful that they will ever escape from that. It's unlikely as well that the dolts and dummies are done here with their dumber-than-dirt stupid-shit deliveries. It's really only more of the same that we can expect to see them haplessly engaged in next.

And just as an FYI, those World Series Game-5 tickets we picked up for The Principals at $304 a pop are now listed online for a thousand bucks and up. Yay, us!
