This dumbshit gets shown up as a moron for every shitpost he puts up here & still sticks to posting the shit he gets PWND for. That is the mark of a true moron. And he thinks people envy him. Who'd want to be a moron who gets shown up as a moron and keeps doing the shit that he knows proves what a moron he is?

This guy is 1 real dumbshit.

Well, it's much the same story out here in the beautiful Sweet Spot once again, as we who do so enjoy our occupancy of these verdant environs have only been left to endure yet another gorgeous morning. Sadly, the humidity is still refusing to budge, but with the thermometer again at an even 70 degrees and continuing light breezes, it's a refreshing sort of comfort that one enjoys while out of doors just now. The sun has of course begun its daily climb into the sky, but it may soon be intercepted by streaks and billows of clouds that have amassed only a little bit beyond its current reach, Indeed forecasters seem to believe that showers and thunderstorms will be bouncing around over the late morning and early afternoon, helping in some areas to keep the mercury from ever reaching the 80-degree mark. We'll see if any of this projected precipitation manages to hit the Sweet Spot. So often what we see is just a swing and a miss.

There are no further fawn sightings to report today, but two possible parents did impressively stroll from west to east across the front yard yesterday afternoon, pausing in the sun down by the corner of the property to do a little traffic-stopping. Had to chuckle at that. It was like some autumnal scene along the Blue Ridge Parkway. The doe is big and sleek and healthy and the buck of course has come into what is still a small set of antlers. Just like Cash Cab, the circle of life rolls on.

In other news, Max Scherzer made his return to the mound up in the Iron City last night. Kept to a short leash, he made it through four innings and 71 mostly effective pitches, but did not really look his old and dominant self. He departed with a 2-1 lead that the bull[en protected well enough to assure an eventual 7-1 Nats victory, but the take-away here for fans is that he threw, he threw reasonably well, and so far at least, he has not had any ill effects to report. The next step will depend on what transpires with the medical staff today and tomorrow, but the hope would be that he'll get an all clear to prep for running on a longer leash in a start sometime next week. The Orioles are here next Tue & Wed, so one of those game would seem ideal.

In the meantime, the club moves on to Chicago for three day games against the Cubs. We haven't played well against them in recent years, but they've had their problems this year also. We're going to start off with Anibal Sanchez on the hill against Jon Lester. Each of them is capable of throwing well, so it will likely just come down to who has a better day.

Having their usual absolutely terrible day of course have been the miserable and beleaguered boobs and bumpkins of the Falls Church Foreign Legion. No more than a gaggle of classic dopes and dummies, these bozos can't really help but make total fools of themselves on at least a daily basis. It's almost like playing a slow-motion game of Whack-a-Mole. It won't take long for some of these losers to pop up below.

The dope is the Dim Wit who shihtposted twice in 2hrs. & 2 min. If you're still clueless, which you are, look in the mirror & you'll see the biggest dope on FFXU.

Nobdy wants to B anything like U, Dim Wit. A nasty, , bitter old man who life has passed by & spends his every waking hour shitposting to a 50¢ message board.. Nobody wants 2 B like that. Only a dope wants 2 B like that. You fit that. A dope.

unlike you, Dim Wit, some people have a life & don't spend it shitposting bullshit to a cheap ass message board.

Clueless loser dope with no life, that's the quoted poster here.

Well, I don't know how to put this exactly, but it's just a marvelous morning out here in the Sweet Spot today. It's 60 degrees out there. 60. With some gentle breezes blowing, prolonged exposure makes things feel darned near frigid out there. The clear blue sky is back as well with a bright sun casting all those wonderful shadows that dance back and forth across the well-kept lawns and gardens while we sit and admire from behind a freshly-brewed cup of single-estate Kona. The humidity could have edged back by more than only a little bit, but it's really just the lack of major wildlife sightings that creates any tinge of disappointment at all at this hour. Plus the pros are saying that this is just the start of something big. It looks like we'll be stuck under the repetitious spell of just such weather for at least the next several days. It even looks like some areas to the east might for a brief period of time come to experience what life in the Sweet Spot is like all the time. Except in eventual hindsight, this won't be tough to take, so enjoy it while you can.

In other news, Anibal Sanchez was terrific in taking a one-hit shutout into the ninth inning against the Cubs yesterday. Might have been foolish of Dumb Davey to let the 35½-year old run his pitch count up to 112 while holding a 9-0 lead, but under the circumstances, giving him a shot at a rare CGSO wasn't really such a bad idea. All that offense came from constant pecking away by familiar sources such as Soto, Robles, Eaton, and Kendrick. When those guys are swinging the bats, the Nate are a tough team to tackle, and such was the case yesterday. Today at Wrigley will see Joe Ross looking to come back from that serious shin-burger suffered earlier in the week. He's got a green light from the med staff, and hopefully he'll have his stuff and command as well. His opponent will be lefty Jose Quintana who has been on his stingiest roll of the season of late. He won't be at all easy to beat around, but we'll see if we can at least change his luck a little.

Having no luck at all of course have been any from among the thinning herds of slack-jawed, nit-picking squids and slugs still comprising the dilapidated Falls Church Foreign Legion. Most it seems have chosen of late to run off into the bushes and make further fools of themselves in other threads rather than absorb the brutal abuse and beatings they so regularly suffer here. Why, it's a veritable Redfin Retreat!

Oh, and don't forget about all those Cash Cab reruns starting at noon today on GSN. For many of you bozos, it will be like the education you never had.

Well, my gosh, but it's a heat wave out there this morning, as wake-up time temperatures have soared all the way up to 62 degrees! 62! What's a body to do? Well, perhaps just be consoled by the clear blue skies, gentle puffs of breeze, and slowly moderating humidity. And of course a cup of freshly-brewed single estate Kona, one of the very best coffees in the world. All of those make for a killer combination and quite the beautiful morning indeed. No way it's going to reach even 80 degrees today. Might not get past 75. No chance of rain either, so a great day to enjoy some time out on the back patio, at least until Cash Cab comes on again.

And while none of our wildlife friends has been seen so far today, a doe and her two now rather large fawns did stop by yesterday afternoon, right in the middle of Cash Cab as it happened. They remained well away from the road, so no traffic tie-ups arose, but it's always so nice to see these majestic creatures confidently ambling and munching their way across the lush green spaces we have created for both them and ourselves out here in the idyllic Sweet Spot. It's good for both the heart and soul.

In other news, Joe Ross spun his wheels a bit against the Cubs yesterday, but it was mostly a case of bend but don't break. At 88 pitches with one out in the fifth though, he was well on his way to much worse than that when Dumb Davey wisely pulled him from the game. As the Nats had cuffed up Jose Quintana a bit by then, Ross departed on the plus side of a 5-2 score, and the pen struck out nine and allowed just one hit the rest of the way, as we slowly pulled away to a 7-2 win. The Nats will thus be going for a sweep in the Windy City this afternoon behind Stephen Strasburg, but they'll need to get past another tough lefty in Cole Hamels, a good pitcher who's been extra good at Wrigley Field of late. Hopefully, we can somehow or other keep that big "L" flying out in center field this evening.

Not needing any sort of flag or other symbol to be known as corrupt and worthless losers of course are the rotting remains of the Falls Church Foreign Legion. Like leftovers stored in the fridge for far too long, these mold-covered clowns have one by one gone past their pull-dates and been relegated to the garbage bin. They no longer have the moxie to post here, as the awful abyss has simply sucked the last remnants of life from them. They slink instead off to other threads and hope not to be recognized as they weakly display the same old ignorance, envy, and butthurt as always. Comes to some seven figures worth of crude and classless wimpishness and failure, as best as I can reckon it.

Once again, you show what a dolt you are with every bullshit shitpost you put here.

Some of us aren't rude, self-righteous, pontificating, nasty old men that life has passed by and consequently have nothing better to do than shitpost bullshit to cheap-ass internet forums and who hang on every word that the trolls & their sock puppets post.

Some of us actually have a life and aren't relegated to watching lowbrow TV shows, especially RERUNS of bullshit lowbrow TV shows

Some of us have a life, so we only actually have a few minutes each day to post on cheap ass internet forums. In fact, my time's up here, because I have something actually worthwhile to pursue.

Have a nice day, dolt.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

What a hypocritical asshole. This assclown acts like a 9 Y.O. & calls people names but calls people "childish". Stupidity, asininity, hypocrisy and arrogance; this buttwipe I quoted has it all.

Like so many of your ‘pals’, what you have is a whole lot of envy and butthurt. Oh, and ignorance as well.

Yeah, using the other guy’s name. Lots of class there alright. And you’ve only done it a few dozen times.

Nobody envies a nasty old dolt who life has passed by and who's full of shit. NOBODY. No butthurt, no envy, NOBODY wants to be like you; NO-BODY. NOBODY wants to be an obnoxious, hypocritical, stupid, lying asshole like you; NOBODY. If you think we believe the bullshit you post, YOU'Re ignorant. No wonder they call you "Dim Wit".

Well, criminy, the dog days have died, and it's just another stunningly gorgeous morning out here in the delightful Sweet Spot where so many envious low-lifes will never have the chance to live. As one of the lucky ones who long has, I can report that the thermometer is back to a bracing 60 degrees just now, as the sun plies its way upward into a bright blue sky. The humidity is still entirely too close to the 90% mark, but with just a few puffs of breeze, all that doesn't really seem to matter very much. Most of this of course is a large-scale effect (even DCA is at 65 degrees), but whatever the source, it's just a wonderful morning out here yet again.

And wildlife-wise, yesterday turned out to be quite a bonanza. Right in the middle of Cash Cab and while I was still busily engaged in changing out kitty litter, a doe trailed into the front yard from the west. And behind her came one, two, three, no, it was a total of FOUR fawns. I think someone must have been having a spa-day. 'You go enjoy yourself at the brook, dear, and I'll take the kids over to JP's. You know how much they love it there.' In the past, we've had half a dozen adult deer lounging about in the shade, but I think four fawns at the same time is a record. And 90 minutes or so after that group had moseyed on, a doe with two fawns came onto the scene. And just at dusk, there was another doe nibbling her way along, this one apparently traveling solo. So that was three separate visits in the space of just four hours. Don't think we've seen that before, at least not this year.

In other news, the Nats' bullpen burped, as for the second time in his last two starts, they came on to do away with what would have been a win for Stephen Strasburg. This time, a run in the 7th and two more after two were out in the 8th turned a 5-2 lead into a 5-5 tie. Fortunately, we were able to hold the Cubs at bay the rest of the way, including two nifty innings from Daniel Hudson that preceded and then followed the two-run top of the 11th that decided things. Key hits from Turner and Kendrick got that rally started, setting up a sweep of the 3-game series in Chicago. That doesn't happen very often. The club now has an off-day today and will next take on the Orioles at Nats Park on Tue and Wed. Should be Corbin and then Scherzer. Sounds good, but the O's will be psyched for these games, so they can't be taken as lightly as their overall record might suggest.

Even worse than what their overall record might suggest of course are the slipshod stumblers and stooges of the spoiled-brat play-group lately known as the Falls Church Foreign Legion. You can hardly throw more childish temper tantrums than these unweaned infants have of late, each successive emotional outburst only underscoring more clearly than the last what a bunch of immature, unadulterated losers these disgraceful ass-clowns are. They'll be displaying more of their Beavis-like tendencies here again soon, for as we know, they just can't control themselves.

This delusional dolt actually thinks people believe his bullshit. A nasty, bitter old man who life has passed by & now has nothing left to do but watch trashy TV, post bullshit to a 25¢ internet forum and yell GET OFF MY LAWN!" at the kids in the neighborhood. Truly a pathetic existence and this deluded dumbfuck thinks people envy him.

Well, some things are just not apt to change very much -- the cry-baby little smidgies are ever apt to go goo-goo-goo, and of course, Kona or no, it's ever apt to be a lovely morning out here in the delightful Sweet Spot. This morning, we who know from all this first-hand experience just what the finer things in life actually are can only take pleasure from our current temps of 62 degrees with cool and gentle breezes coming at us from out of the northwest. True, the humidity is still in the high 80's and some disruptive banks of clouds are presently seeking to block visuals of the arriving sun, but it's altogether delightful to be outside at the moment in any case. These clouds may actually hang around for a while and in a few cases, rain may be produced by some of them. But even Falls Church is likely safe from serious flooding at any point today.

No idea what may have transpired yesterday afternoon on the wildlife front. Many foxes, deer, and even okapi or klipspringer may have come and gone without our ever having noticed it, as our time was given over to yet another off-site get-together with The Principals. Always nice when the four of us can find the time for one of those. While we'd been recently, they had not been over to Pazzo Pomodoro in Vienna for a while, so that's where we ended up for many courses of delightful food, refreshing drink, and interesting conversation. Somebody had been to and thoroughly enjoyed a recent Zac Brown Band concert, but while we heard about that, it was not the most interesting part, at least not to me. Not actually much of a country music fan here. Wonderful and delicious afternoon in any case. We'll no doubt do it all again sometime soon.

In other news, the Nats were off yesterday but will return to action tonight against the Orioles at Nats Park. Should be Patrick Corbin against Aaron Brooks, but even though the O's are 45 games under .500 at this point, they'll be trying to throw everything they've got into these next two games, so we hopefully didn't over-spend ourselves out in Chicago. The two of us will be glad at last to tour once again across Mass Ave and down to the ballpark this afternoon, ultimately meeting up with our Club Level friends in hopes of enjoying another Nats win together. Might decide to stop for a bite somewhere before the game though.

Having already had Shark Week-like numbers of bites taken out of them of course are the shabby slugs and sots of the fabled Falls Church Foreign Legion. With all the emotional maturity of some bunch of two-year olds, these louts and clowns continue to make total fools of themselves no matter how often or badly they end up being called out and ridiculed over it. Just a bunch of useless simpletons and scatterbrains, I guess. They certainly have nothing actually intelligent to say, as they are so apt to further demonstrate here shortly.

As those unfamiliar with the process would certainly fail to know, writing is actually done all day long, and sometimes even at night. The calisthenic act of transcribing it all is what occurs the following morning. That is of course closely followed by spikes of raging envy and burning butthurt among targeted losers and certain susceptible others.

Then he posts this bullshit about how smart he is when every time he shitposts he shows what a dolt he is. People keep pointing out when he has to shitpost the same old BS every day, it shows he has no life. He's 1 of those old goats life has passed by so he has nothing better to do than shitpost on a stupid ass forum infested with trolls and sock puppets. Nobody blieves him, eveeybody laughs at him & he STILL shitposts the same BS every day.

Oh, during the day, he does take a break from shitpostsng & obsessing about all the FFXU trolls & sock puppets who live in his head rent free. He runs (or as close to running as his feeble ass can get) outside & yells at the neighborhood kids to get off his lawn.

By the way, there are not very many kids out in the Sweet Spot these days. I can think of a couple of families that recently did have some, but they are all grown and gone now. As for writing, academic, technical, and documentary writing were all integral parts of a very successful and profitable 40+ year career that I left behind more than seven years ago in order to take up the life of a wealthy retiree. Haven’t looked back since. Instead, I sit here sipping on a Stella and about to dig into a footlong with chili, mustard, and onions. Nothing like food at the old ballpark, baby!

Yes, Dimwit does not have a life. Why is Dimwit posting to a six bit internet forum that is more of a troll wars battlefield than it is a real internet forum when he claims to be at a baseball game? Why is Dimwit bothering with this cheap-0 message board when he is supposedly in his overpriced seats at a baseball game? Why does Dimwit put down a hot dog to post his bullshit to this trashy forum?

I was at that game. My telephone went OFF and into my pocket after I went through the turnstile. If you get a full, half or twenty game plan, they put your ticket onto your telephone, these days. Even if you buy extra tickets, they put them onto your telephone. Thus, my telephone must come out to get into the park. After that, it goes OFF and into my packet.

I do not post to a garbage forum when I am watching the game. I can post to a garbage forum when I am at home. I do not need to pay the Lerner family's prices to post to some garbage forum that is full of trolls. If I am going to spend that kind of money, I am not going to waste it posting something for trolls and bullshitters to read. I do not even post to it between innings. There are far more interesting things to do even between innings than to read troll posts and Dimwit's bullshit.

If I buy a hot dog, I am not about to put down the thing to post something to this trashy "forum". I paid good money for that hot dog and I am going to eat it. Trashy internet forums can wait until I get home.

Only a dimwit obsessed with a trashy internet forum is going to be bothered posting his bullshit to it while he is supposedly at a baseball game. If someone is THAT obsessed with this troll wars battlefield, clearly, he does not have a life.

Well, the mere fact that these reports begin with the word "Well" has quite likely now triggered the roiling inner rage and the spectacular chafing and burning of extreme envy and butthurt that plague so many of these walking-wounded low-graders, but there you have it. And of course, the simple facts on the ground at the moment are that it is yet another lovely morning out here in the ever-sumptuous Sweet Spot where folks know better, and where such pleasant beginnings to the day are quite the regular order of business. Of course, today can't really be compared to yesterday, as the mercury is already up to 66 degrees and a light overcast rules the skies from one horizon to the other. The humidity is back above the 90% mark as well, and there is very little breeze. Fortunately, some near-term improvements are expected, and we should yet end up with a nice sunny day with a near-zero chance of rain and highs that might or might not reach 80 degrees. Not so much to complain about there.

Nothing to report again on the wildlife front, as after having spent prime visiting hours dining with The Principals on Monday, those yesterday were put to purposes of traveling to and then enjoying the good life from our luxurious perch at Nats Park. As some may know, we do that 45 times per season or so (more when they manage to make the play-offs), but it never gets old. Good times with good people seem always to be a good way to spend a good part of the day. The deer and the antelope (if any) will just have to get along without us on baseball days for six months out of the year or so.

By the way, Dominion Power reports that 96 of their 2,632,938 customers are without power this morning. Not sure how many of those would have Generacs to fall back on, but unless they operate some sort of nursing home-like facility, considerations of cost/benefit would suggest that it's an extremely small number.

In other news, much of it already relayed in real time, the Nats bats stunk up the place last night, failing to put any real dent at all into either Aaron Brooks or the O's bullpen. Pretty sorry affair all around. Patrick Corbin gave up a pair of runs to the first four batters he faced, but was then near perfect through the rest of seven strong innings. He just never got any offensive support at all, and a dismal 2-0 loss resulted. What a clunker! Perhaps the home side will be in an angrier frame of mind this evening when a probably not yet back to full strength Max Scherzer will go at it against Asher Wojciechowski. He's not actually good and hasn't been going very well either, but it's always possible that the baseball gods will find some reason and some way to smile upon the lords of Baltimore yet again tonight. We'll not be there this time, as our next ducats say Friday and Saturday on them. Someone else may use our reserved in-stadium parking spot tonight and from there go on to enjoy the posh Club Level seating that so often affords us such a grand view of the game.

That someone will not of course be some riff-raff hooligan from among those woeful waifs and wanderers of the miserable Falls Church Foreign Legion. Having failed to find Brockmont, Luzmary, or any of the precincts of the DCPD, these oafish bunglers have neither the mind nor means necessary to enter into the GEICO Garage. All that can actually be expected from them is more whiny toddler-talk and pointless pants-pooping. The likes of all that are in fact quite likely to commence once again here shortly after this message is posted. As we know, the dopes just can't help themselves.

It feels the same everywhere in this area, Dimwit. No one envies you. I certainly do not. I would not want to be anything like you: a sham of a nasty old shithook who posts bullshit every day.

That is correct, Dimwit, I wrote TO WHOSE POST I AM REPLYING. I know that cavilry is one of your stronger suits, so you can get all worked up over it and I will both scoff and laugh at you.

You pontificate to us about how wise you are and have been with your money then you spend it on overpriced seats at the ball park. I have sat in those seats. The fifteen dollar premium over the baseline one hundreds that you pay for them
is just not worth it. you are paying an extra six hundred seventy five bananas over what I pay for a season. I can buy more than a few draft beers and more than a few hot dogs for that. Oh, and one more thing, I do not put down my hot dog to shitpost bullshit on this or any other six bit forum. I enjoy my game and hot dog, both. Once more, you prove just how full of shit you are.

I do not live in Falls Gulch so I do not care about Brockmont or Luzmary. It does not affect me one way or the other if there are any such places or not. I DO NOT CARE. I do not live there and have no plans to live there, either.

> or any of the precincts of the DCPD,

I do, however, live in D.C. It is NOT "DCPD" It IS "MPD". As you are one of the duller of the dullards, that stands for Metropolitan Police Department. I know the history behind that name, but, the explanation requires an ability to read above the fifth grade level. As you show the mental and emotional maturity of a fifth grader, I must assume that your reading level is about the same. Thus, it would be a waste of bandwidth and time to attempt an explanation to one of such low intelligence as you. We will pass over just how full of shit you are.

> these oafish
> bunglers have neither the mind nor means necessary

Once more, you show what a jackass you really are. You always display that air of superiority to us as you tell all of us how wise you are and have been with your money. As you do this, you throw away forty some dollars on this parking scam. I am assuming, for the purposes of this discussion, at least, that you are not telling us a story about your half season plan in the Club seats. Odds are that you are, but, I can suspend the proverbial disbelief to allow this to continue.

A single visit to the GEICOscam parking garage costs fifty five potatoes. I am assuming some kind of discount with any of the plans: partial, half or full. I will be generous and assume fifteen dollars off the regular price. That leaves forty dollars that you throw away each time that you show up there. You mentioned forty five games. That is another eighteen hundred dollars that you have tossed out the window. Add that you the six hundred seventy five that you waste on overpriced seats, and you are now throwing away two thousand four hundred seventy five greenbacks every season. That more than covers beer and hot dogs for a holder of a twenty game pass. That is not being very smart with your money. Despite that, you insist that you are oh-so-smart with your money. Once more, you are hoist by your own petard.

All that can
> actually be expected from them is more whiny

OH LOOKEEE! Someone who shitposts bullshit on a six bit internet forum is criticising what other posters post. Can you say "double standards and hypocrisy"? Uh KNEW ya' could This is typical of you, though, you do yourself what you criticise in others, which makes you one of the sorriest excuses out there for a human being. "Good people" do not want anything to do with a nasty, old, bitter shithook who is a sorry excuse for a human being.

You should change "dopes who can not help themselves" to the singular, because it would be an accurate description of your sorry ass. Who wastes his time and money shitposting bullshit to this cheap forum while he is at the ball park? You do, that is who.

What a sorry ass nasty shithook you are. It really does suck to be you. I really am glad that I am not you. I NEVER would want to be the sorry excuse for a human being that you are. I would tell you to get help, but you are too far beyond that.

You have that backwards, Dimwit. Every time that you have tried to tango with me, you have been SO THOROUGHLY OWNED that I have had to un-own you so that I could OWN you a second time.

I am not Seven Figure City, but, every time that you have tried to tango with him, he has SO THOROUGHLY OWNED your sorry, illiterate ass that HE has had to un-own you so that he could own you a second time. In fact, the only reason that he has not rented out your ass is that he does not want to pay anyone to take so sorry an excuse for a human being as are you. Further, since you have yet to produce a listing for Brookmount, Brockmont, Mountbook or wherever that place is, you are about to be THOROUGHLY OWNED, yet AGAIN.

It is YOU, Dimwit, who has been shamed and ass-kicked on every topic to which you have posted on Fairfax Underground. You have been proved a fake, a sham, a hypocrite and a dolt. Yup, with each one of your shitposts, you prove that you TRULY deserve the name "Dimwit".

........and you read it correctly, Dimwit, I typed "TO WHICH you have posted". I know how much it sets you in a tizzy, and I laugh at how obsessed you are with your own cavilry.

Meanwhile, Dimwit, are there not some of the neighbourhood children on your lawn? Do you not need to go out there and yell at them to get off of it?

Well, to the certain dismay and discomfort of pea-brained local micro-climate de1niers, it's a near-crisp and totally brilliant morning that's been quite thoroughly enjoyed today by those of us privileged, wise, and wealthy enough to live out here in the glorious Sweet Spot. In official terms, the day began with a 14-degree temperature differential between National and Manassas airports, and in local terms, what we opened with here graded out as a 99 or better. The mercury sat earlier at a lovely 62 degrees while the humidity chased it from a reading of 65 -- that has since plummeted to 48. Quite a difference the overnight has made. This splendid start to the day was only amplified in blazing blue skies and the sort of cool, comfortable breezes that brush gently past you like a stranger headed in the other direction along a crowded sidewalk. And it looks like we'll have similar conditions over several days at least, as nothing from the macro-sphere is forecast to interfere with things closer to the ground. All that will be so difficult for us out here to endure.

There are meanwhile no wildlife adventures to report so far today, but a doe and two fawns did make a west-to-east migration across the property yesterday at around five o'clock or so. They apparently found some munchable deliciousness just at the end of the driveway, as they paused and spent quite some time there gobbling up whatever it was. Concealed by specimen trees in that location, they were oblivious to occasional cars passing so close by, and for the same reason, they no doubt went unseen by passing motorists as well. A few hours later, we spotted two large does over at the opposite end of things, grazing away in the fading light among the dogwood-dominated under-story trees that flank the cypress shed. The rut will soon be upon these fascinating creatures. We'll see if that disrupts their modest roaming habits any.

In other news, Max Scherzer took more baby steps forward last night, tossing 89 pitches over 4.1 innings to open what would end as an 8-4 win over the Orioles. He wasn't 'Dominating Max' at all, but he did look stronger, and until the fifth, seemed better able to control the game than in his other recent shots at it. A couple more of these show-time rehab-like efforts and he may be ready to cut it loose for real and go full bore. Being 100% for the wild-card game (Oct 1) would be big. The Nats otherwise took any lingering doubts from the debacle of Tuesday's 2-0 loss off the table early on, dropping a 5-spot on the Birds in the bottom of the 1st. Another Anthony Rendon double left one-out runners at 2nd and 3rd, and then came a Soto triple, a Cabrera single, and a two-run jack by Kurt Suzuki. That pretty much set the tone, though a three-run fifth -- keyed by a Suzuki 2-run double -- was certainly a welcome addition. The team now enjoys another off-day today before welcoming the Marlins in for three weekend games. We'll be doing the Fri and Sat games, while as usual skipping the Sunday tilt. Again showing good sense, we try to do as few Sunday games as possible.

Showing no sort of sense at all of course are the wretched rubes and rabble late of the cretinous Falls Church Foreign Legion. That laughable outfit has all but collapsed completely now, as levels of envy and butthurt have once again led to bouts of simpering childishness and blown-gasket bozoness among the entire roster of transparently phony-baloney sock-puppets, whether from the Itsy Bitsy City itself or the den of illiterates so dubiously claiming to be from somewhere else. Ever the statues and never the pigeons, there is no help to come for any of these louts and losers, and certainly none from the ranks of their own feeble selves. They will of a certain be driven once again here to the posting of senseless drivel and stupid pre-school paintings. This is the sum total and upper bound of who they really are. Let the comedy of their futility now begin.

Well, that was a bit more self-restraint than what the notoriously deluded dolt(s) and dimbulbs(s) can typically muster. Perhaps the opening of school has had some sort of effect here? There's no effect in any case on mornings out in the delightful Sweet Spot, as we continue to enjoy tip-top conditions per usual. In the lead role at the moment are local temps standing at a refreshing 61 degrees, while HEF enjoys a nine degree advantage over DCA. Our humidity has sadly bounced back from yesterday's freakishly low readings to sneak past the 80% mark, and there's not much breeze to speak of out there either. So not at all the 99+ of yesterday morning, but still quite a pleasant scene out there unless you were headed east.

Can't offer any new wildlife updates yet today, but a doe and two fawns were indeed back to munching away out by the end of the driveway around 6:00 last night. We startled them as we pulled in and they bounded off to the west. The wife had a routine physical with blood work earlier in the afternoon, so she had been fasting all day. Sought to break that at The Virginian over in Vienna, but with their loosely observed summer hours, the place had closed already by the time we got there. Decided to make do by heading back out to good old IHOP for the hearty breakfast fare she was craving. I do like their spinach-and-mushroom omelets, so it worked out well for everyone.

In other news, the Nats are back in action tonight against The Fish. We'll make our way across Mass Ave and down to the ballpark as usual this afternoon. Hoping that the good Nats will show up this time, and not the sorry bunch we saw against the O's on Tuesday. Should be Anibal Sanchez for us tonight. He could hardly pitch nay better than he did against the Cubs last time out, but anything close should be good enough to carry the day. The Marlins will go with Elieser Hernandez, who baffled the Phils for six innings in his last start. Can't be taken lightly, but he has been dealing with some blister issues of late, so maybe we can wear him down at some point.

Horribly worn down already of course are the rotting lees and disheveled dregs of the Falls Church Foreign Legion. These are now a tattered band that can't so much as catch its breath. Drained by shell-shock and desertion, these walking wounded have nothing at all credible or sensible left to say for themselves. And it's not all Redfin's fault either.

Well, so much for the notion of there being any measure at all of restraint, class, or discernible intelligence among these boorish dolts and dumbfucks. It's gotten to a point with them where 'childish' is an undeserved compliment. But even as such reprehensible rubes and ruffians continue to sully themselves in stains of envy, butthurt, and other behaviors that would be deemed inappropriate in a guttersnipe, it remains just another gorgeous morning that we out here in the delightful Sweet Spot are once again enjoying today. True, things have taken a bit of a 'Return to Summer' turn, what with temperatures having never been below 65 degrees this morning, but the breezes have picked up and the humidity has fallen back, so being out of doors is beyond merely pleasant at the present time. And as always of course, a cup of freshly-brewed single-estate Kona serves only to improve things further.

The wildlife ledger has no new entries so far this morning, but a buck and a pal did take an east-to-west stroll across the front yard yesterday afternoon as we prepared to depart for the ballgame. Just sort of ambled along, munching on this and that, and not seeming to have a care in the world. Likely the pal was a button-buck, but no real way to confirm that of course.

In other news, the Nats offense sputtered some and Anibal Sanchez had to struggle in making his way through a pesky Marlins line-up. The result was a game that was closer than it ought to have been. Things did look good in the sixth when Soto's RBI double gave the homeside a 4-2 lead, but that was quickly turned into a 4-4 tie when Strickland fell apart and Elias couldn't bail him out. Another RBI double from Soto put the Nats back up 5-4, but interim closer Daniel Hudson gave up an infield hit and then a home-run, sending the Nats to an unwanted bottom of the ninth down by a run. Howie Kendrick ripped a liner to right for a hit to start things off, and then Trea Turner worked out a tough walk. In a game-changing mistake, hurler Ryne Stanek then heaved a wild pitch (scored a passed ball) that left runners at 2nd and 3rd with one out. The choice for MIA was then whether to pitch to Rendon, or walk him and face Soto with the bases loaded. They chose Option-1, but Rendon caught a 2-1 slider down and ripped it into LF for a base hit. Kendrick trotted home for the tie, and Turner ran the throttle wide open, blazing around third and using a dramatic slide across the plate to beat the throw and end the game. The crowd went nuts with chants of 'MVP! MVP!' and then enjoyed things further as fifth-wheel interviewer Alex Chappell was doused with most of an ice-cold bucket of Gatorade. Then everyone sat back down to enjoy the FREE post-game fireworks show. I realize that some here have grave difficulties with the whole concept of FREE, but there you have it.

What some of us among the well-to-do also have is another ballgame tonight. Stephen Strasburg is ready to take the hill once again, while The Fish will counter with righty Pablo Lopez. Most of you will never have heard of him, but he'd been throwing very well through mid-June when he was shelved by shoulder woes. If he's healthy, he could be trouble, which is something the Nats don't need.

Some other things that nobody really needs include the huddled masses and wretched refuse of the god awful place known as Falls Church City. Emotionally under-developed, not yet potty-trained, and beyond hopelessly dumb, these oafs and naifs just bungle and babble their way into ever worse thickets of sheer stupidity. Happens like clockwork.

Speaking of which...

You'll find it's generally the most childish and emotionally immature among us that engage in scatological banter. You're probably giving him too much credit by comparing him to a seven year old. Most normal people outgrow such tomfoolery by the time they advance beyond preschool. His mind is clearly on par with the average preschooler.

......and at the same time, he tries to belittle us for some supposed "pre-school" behaviour that his imagination attributes to us. It is, however, in his mind, acceptable for him to act like a pre-schooler.

It is the same type of twisted thinking that compels him to imagine that anyone would envy a nasty old shithook whose sole diversions in life are shitposting to a ten cent internet forum where he pretends to live in some oversized mansion in an idyllic setting and sit in overpriced seats at baseball games.

It is even funnier that he claims to have a wife. No woman would have anyone like him.

Married to the same woman for nearly fifty years. She’s sitting just across from me as we watch Cash Cab while finishing off breakfast. Also watching a doe and two fawns nibbling away at tender shoots in the front lawn. In an hour or so, we’ll pack up here and head for our Club Level seats at Nats Park. Just another day in the life of the upper crust.

That is a lie. No one believes it. You are too nasty a little shithook for any woman to want you. You are far too sorry an excuse for a human being for any woman to put up with you for more than one minute, if even that. Yes, there are women who like assholes, and you certainly are one, but no woman wants an excuse for a "man" who goes as far out of his way as you do to be a sorry, nasty little shithook. Add to this your having, at best, the emotional and mental maturity of a second grader combined with the total inability to act like an adult and your case becomes even worse.

I will pass over your obvious abject stupidity, as it would be piling more rubble onto the disaster of a human being that you are........and I am being kind in calling you a "human being".

How would you know, dumbshit, you weren't even there. Oh, that's right, you can listen to it on the radio & the announcers can tell you what happened.

Nobody believes your bullshit, dumbshit.

Just doing a little taunting of you life-long losers. We both know you’ll never be able to keep pace in any meaningful way in any meaningful category.

Half-season plan, dude. At the park for last night’s stomach-churner, there again for tonight’s much easier win. Off Sunday, but back again on Monday and Wednesday. Cool!

OK, so you only listen to half the games on the radio. OK. We do know you weren't at the park.

I suppose every once in a while, somebody might feel sorry for you & give you some tix. In fact, they have something every season where if you bring like 5 cans of Harris Teeter food for a Food Drive, they give you a pair of tix & some Nats Bux. You can get the 5 cans for like 89¢ apiece, so, I guess a few hours of you panhandling & you can get the less than 5 bucks together & get enough to ride the subway there & collect your free tix.

We now you weren't at the park as much as you say you were. We know you're full of shit.

It's the old rule of those who talk about it the most, see?

Well, we do watch half the home games on TV -- the half that (like today's game) we don't have tickets for and hence don't attend in person. Cash Cab reruns today until 5:00, then we'll likely go out for some dinner and ultimately watch the game after that.

The food for food drives can of course be purchased anywhere and is typically donated at the CF Gate. Keep in mind that your store receipt for donated items can be used to document a charitable deduction on your income tax. As long-time donors to food banks and such ourselves, we do know however that cash stretches further than in-kind donations, so while we do encourage everyone to bring bags of non-perishables with them to the ballpark, we do our own work on the problem in less obvious and also less ponderous ways. Food insecurity is actually a bigger problem in this area than most people might expect or realize, so doing whatever you can will be a big help.

As for free tickets, once you are connected to folks like the Dream Foundation or the ziMS Foundation, there are many ways in which to acquire those. This has been especially true with attendance down this year due to the departure of Harper and the team's poor start. There were in fact eight young people in Section 117 last night on freebie tickets we had picked up and passed on for distribution through their employers. I hope and bet that they had a good time.

I understand. The lifestyle that Mr. and Mrs. Morgenthau enjoy is so far above and beyond what some can actually process that denial of it all becomes their only way to come to terms with any of it. Oh well.

Watch the game after dinner? It's a 1:35 start. Fans of the team and those that regularly attend games at the park know such things. Posers make these types of rookie mistakes. I happen to be on my way out the door heading to the park.

Barring extra innings or a weather delay, the game will be over before your Cash Cab couch potato session ends.

Once more, Dim Wit has been shown up as full of shit.

Here's a News Bulletin, Dim Wit. FFXU is full of trolls. Trolls are the best bullshitters in the world. You're trying to bullshit a board full of bullshitters. You can't do that. Only the dumbest of dolts doesn't know you can't bullshit a bullshitter. You just proved you're the dumbest of dolts.

BUSTED, a-GAIN!!!!!!!

If you give Harris Teeter brand, not only do you get the free tix, but you get the 25 Nats Bux. That will get you a couple of hot dogs, a regular size draft beer and a bag of popcorn with a dollar left over to tip the person at the counter where you get the hot dogs and beer. Since you're not a regular at the park, I guess you wouldn't know that, huh? That's where I come in. I get to tell you that, since I'm frequently at the park because I can afford tickets, while you can't.

The purpose of the in kind donation at the park is to get the free tix & Nats Bux, dolt. You're too stupid to understand that, of course. If you were a regular at the park, which you're not, you'd see they advertise it that way. EVen if you were a regular, you're too stupid to understand that, though.

well you're not connected to any of those, so it don't apply to you nohow. Don't try to say you are, b/c nobody's going to believe you. You've been shown up as full of shit several times in this thread and more times than Gerry on FFXU in general. You REALLY GOTTA' work at it to get shown up as more full of shit than Gerry.

The lifestyle you make up is more like it. You've been shown up as full of shit. & there's no "Mrs'" Morgenthau, unless your BF is running around in drag. Fake would suit you, though, since you're an exposed fake.

You're a fake, nasty, prissy faggot. only another butt pirate would be associated with someone like you. That's part of why nobody believes you when you say you "donate" food or tix. somebody obnoxious & selfish like you wouldn't give anything to anybody if you had it to give, which you don't.

Nobody believes you.
